Ugly Garbage 'Performance' Pollutes American Music Awards

Shame on y'all, ABC!

Now, isn't that gross?

Most people really don't want to see that. I bet they weren't warned that there might be "offensive content".

Openly homosexual former "American Idol" performer Adam Lambert shocked the American Music Awards audience last night by shoving dance team members' faces into his crotch, leading others around on dog leashes and delivering a passionate on-stage kiss to his male keyboard player during the ABC broadcast.

(...)

Immediately following the performance, Adam Lambert was the most trending topic on Twitter. Lambert was defiant on his Twitter page, proclaiming, "All hail freedom of expression and artistic integrity. ... fans: I adore u."

But viewers were not necessarily responding in kind. One observer described the performance as a "modern Sodom." On a New York Daily News poll asking, "Do you think Adam went too far with his performance?" two out of three respondents agreed.

Sixty-four percent said, "It was unnecessary and inappropriate for television." Only 24 percent said, "He took a risk and did something different that was worth watching." Another 12 percent said the show would have been more appropriate for cable television.

(Emphasis mine)

"Artistic integrity"? Who's he fooling, besides himself? He got his rocks off in front of a national television audience and smeared American culture in the process, and he thinks that's "artistic integrity"? Hell, he'd have more "artistic integrity" by taking a crap on a piece of canvas and titling the thing "My Talent"!

Why is the Big Old Media broadcasting ever-more-offensive crap on prime time TV all the time? Do they actually think that the average person wants to see this sort of thing?

Those folks who do want to see stuff like that can always visit certain trashy websites or their local naughty-film shop. Why broadcast it on prime-time on a major network?

No wonder the likes of ABC are in the toilet in terms of audience numbers.

The more trashy the offerings, the more folks turn away. Perhaps they're trying to offend people because they want to deliberately shrink their audience? Or, more likely, they're delusional and buy into the politically-correct nonsense they're being fed that "people want to see more and more 'progressive' stuff all the time".

Actually, mainstream Americana and mainstream Canadiana do NOT wish to see ever-more-"progressive" trash, such as what happened at the American Music Awards.

Besides, there's specialty channels on cable dedicated to trash TV and "progressive" nonsense, like, say, "Showcase"...

And the CRTC bureaucrats think that liberalizing the telecom industry so that there can be a FOX News Canada would "threaten Canadian culture"? But what about the likes of ABC and the "gay" guy who can't control his private bodily urges in public and who delights in grossing people out without first obtaining their informed consent? Sheesh!

It'd be substantially less rude if I were to walk onto a crowded elevator and deliberately, with a mischievous grin, loudly blast out an especially noxious fart.

Now, Adam Lambert behaving badly in public... that's what an "extremist" is. Ironically, the Left calls the majority who don't like that sort of stuff "extremists". Boy-o-boy... talk about psychiatric projection, eh!
