Bizarre Berlusconi's Incredible Popularity

Think Barack Hussein Obama is "popular"?

Meh. Not compared to Italy's Silvio Berlusconi.

NAPLES (Reuters) - Italian Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi, who has compared himself to Jesus Christ and Napoleon, boasted on Friday that he was the world's most popular leader.

(...)

"The opinion polls I know say that he (Obama) is at 59 percent. Only (Brazilian President Luiz Inacio) Lula tops 60 percent -- he is at 64 percent. So mine is a record high," he told reporters in Naples where he attended a May Day concert.

(...)

Berlusconi, who regularly complains of unfair treatment by the media despite directly or indirectly controlling 90 percent of Italy's television, put his own popularity at 75.1 percent.

Interesting. He controls about as much of Italy's media as the Obamite Extreme Left in America controls American media, yet his own popularity is far higher than that of Obama.

If the polls are to be believed, then it puts Obama's own "popularity" into a suddenly different perspective. Do remember that it's mostly the Extreme Left and some non-thinking, non-partisan swingers who currently think Obama's hot shiite. Obama's been said to be, in fact, the most polarizing, most divisive US President in a long time (or perhaps ever).

What's even more embarrassing for Obama is the fact that Berlusconi gets such higher popularity marks even though Silvio is an even bigger boob than Barack is, as a man (though when it comes to boobiness in terms of ideology and policy, Barack wins hands down on that count!). Just watch the following videos, which I bet the Big Media in Italy didn't show, just as the US Big Media won't tell Americans about the shocking realities of Barack Hussen Obama, either.

To be fair and balanced between the "Right" and the "Left", I'll therefore post the following funny clips:

Having a little snack...

Here's Silvio's impression of Bill Clinton:

How to let the Germans know they've been assholes again:

You know, that "Silvio's on the phone" clip could be replayed in a skit by Rowan Atkinson...

Ah, that last "dignitary" was Britain's Gordon Brown. He picks his nose, too...
