Obama Supporting Regime Guilty Of Human Rights Abuses

Like I said the other day...

Now CNS is reporting that Obama's own State Department indicates that Ghana, which Obama praised as "democratic" and "following the rule of law", has been fingered for human rights abuses.

The U.S. State Department’s 2008 Country Reports on Human Rights Practices says there is corruption in all branches of government in Ghana, its citizens are dying at the hands of police, and women and children are victims of abuse, including female genital mutilation and human trafficking.

The report says: “The government generally respected human rights, but human rights problems continued, including: deaths resulting from the excessive use of force by police; vigilante violence; harsh and life-threatening prison conditions; police corruption and impunity; prolonged pretrial detention; forcible dispersal of demonstrations; corruption in all branches of government; violence against women and children; female genital mutilation (FGM); societal discrimination against women, persons with disabilities, homosexuals, and persons with HIV/AIDS; trafficking in women and children; ethnic discrimination and politically and ethnically motivated violence; and child labor, including forced child labor.”

Well, let's be realistic. Obama doesn't care about the Islamic World's utter lack of respect for human rights, nor about China's.

So why should we expect him to give a crap about human rights abuses on the continent of his birth?

Yet his Regime is looking at investigating allegations of wrongdoing with respect to the interrogation of enemy terrorists during the War on Terror, with a view to possibly nabbing someone from the Bush Adminsitration.

How do we account for this hypocrisy? Ah, of course. Domestic partisan dirty warfare. Big surprise, not! After all, the Obama Regime is Leftist, and as such, is naturally prone to hypocrisy, sheer nerve, unmitigated gall...

And it doesn't help their image, either, to be condemning Honduras for acting lawfully and constitutionally in its internal affairs. The socialist-fascist Obama Regime only supports Zelaya because he's one of the "progressive" "strongmen" of the international socialist movement in Latin America, and an ally of Obama, just as are socialist-fascists Hugo Chavez of Venezuela and Fidel Castro of Cuba. (Yes, Canada is wrong, also, to incorrectly condemn Honduras, especially when she doesn't really condemn China for her own horrific internal-affairs stuff).
