Obama Orders Military To Prepare For Spring Food Riots

Obama Orders Military To Prepare For Spring Food Riots

In America, this is a concern. The world is running amuck and now we can also worry about food shortages. Obama is NOT a well liked president at all regardless who the mainstream media is trying to portray it. Out country is falling behind in all aspects.

With respect, Gabriella, I think your headline and first sentence don't quite tell the story.

"Obama Orders Military To Prepare For Spring Food Riots."

That's not quite accurate, although it certainly is more provocative than the reality.

A more accurate formulation would have been:

"Two months ago, a European website claimed that an internal French discussion paper released by Russian intelligence suggests that the American and French Presidents agreed "in principle" to create a joint US-European military force to deal exclusively with a Global uprising expected this spring as our World runs out of food."

Since the source of this is Russian intelligence quoting French internal documents, and since the "news" is two months old, and since I can find no other reference to this anywhere (other than links from blogs to the same story), I think you can probably rest easy.

Upon digging a little deeper, I have to compliment you on finding a source of news that truly goes beyond the surface of today's mainstream media and gets right down to the nitty gritty. Some of the other stories your source presents:

"A grim report prepared for Prime Minister Putin by Russian Space Forces Command (VKS) states that the catastrophic 6.3 magnitude earthquake that destroyed New Zealand’s second largest city of Christchurch on 22 February was another “failed test” of a United States “earthquake weapon” similar to the one that destroyed the Caribbean island nation of Haiti last January (2010) killing over 500,000 people."

"A secret document prepared for Prime Minister Putin by Russia’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs is claiming that President Medvedev confirmed in his extended meeting with Pope Benedict XVI yesterday that the new planet named Tyche (pronounced ty-kee) by NASA [NASA rendering 2nd photo right] will be appearing in the Earth’s night sky by 2012."

Secret planets and earthquake weapons? Wow. "Grim reports" indeed!

Spin, spin Balbulican...

Protect, protect The Agenda from exposure...

Balbulican said...

"Spin"???

No, CS.

"Spin" is when you take a story from an online source that believes in earthquake machines and hidden planets, quoting leaked secrets from the Russian secret service, and then claim that Obama is ordering the military to prepare for food riots.

THAT'S "spin".

How do you feel about the Secret Earthquake Machine story? Do you swallow that one too? :)

And I happened to catch Peter Mansbridge giving a quick preview of last night's "The National", and once again he included a scary sounding mention having to do with the Conservatives. He subtly suggested a shadowy conspiracy via a "secret" meeting with Helena Guergis. Oh, my! Something must therefore be bad about the Conservatives, cause the "most trusted newsman" keeps on saying bad stuff about them, eh... LOLOLOLOLOLOL Hey, Mansbridge, how about saying scary-suggestive stuff about Obama's secret meetings with mysteri.ous, protected figures (like George Soros and William Ayers and probably the racist Black Panthers and members of the evil Muslim Brotherhood)? Oh, of course you won't, Peter. Nor will you say scary stuff about Obama's being ineligible to be President. Cause you're a leftist propagandist, Mr. Mansbridge.

Balbulican said...

You're not really addressing the point, I'm afraid.

I ask again, respectfully: do you accept this publication's credibility? The Secret Earthquake Generator, the Vatican's secret knowledge of a mystery planet, etc?

Canadian Sentinel said...

LOL

Tell you what. I'll tell you what media's "credibility" I don't accept: That of the agenda-driven, so-called "mainstream" media to which the average, lazy-minded folks look for their "information" about the world around them.

As long as the "mainstream" media has iffy credibility due to the fact that they have an undeniably obvious agenda, why should we knock any media who tell us stuff we haven't heard of via the "mainstream" media?

And, like the MSM, any other media may have done questionable reports, but does that make any given report invalid?

Credibility is in the eye of the beholder.

And, Balb, please don't misinterpret the above according to your preferences and then go turning around and claiming I said things I clearly didn't. I know you may not realize that you've done this, but notwithstanding that, I'd hope you'd refrain from misdigesting my words to make me look somehow eyebrow-raising-worthy in some circles.

Canadian Sentinel said...

Speaking of credibility, moreover, I find it rich that one who doesn't want the truth about Obama's Eligibility to be known and understood... that he's lecturing about credibility.

No one who simplistically, foolishly says to the q. re. Obama's showing proof that he meets the Constitution's Eligibility Clause requirements for being President "why should he?"... such a fellow cannot credibly lecture me or anyone about "credibility".

Balbulican said...

"I'd hope you'd refrain from misdigesting my words to make me look somehow eyebrow-raising-worthy in some circles."

I won't. I may refer people back to this thread, but I promise I won't mis-characterize your position.

There are two interesting issues at play here.

One is that Gabriella's headline and lead statement are a serious distortion of the highly dubious story she used as a source. Even that (frankly) silly story didn't claim that "Obama Orders Military To Prepare For Spring Food Riots". It simply didn't, or anything like it. Be honest.

I'll be back to address the question of credibility shortly...there are few more samples I'd like to collect from Gabriella's source. (Which, by the way, appears to be a bit anti-Semitic - did you know that?)

Balbulican said...

LOL. CS, at your request I wrote at some length what I believe on Obama's eligibility. Would you like me to cut and paste my response from that thread, since you failed to respond to it there? Or are you simply dragging your very favourite red herring into the discussion because you're a little uncomfortable being asked to defend Secret Planets and Earthquake machines? ;)

Balbs,,Im not sure why you are bringing up other articles and getting away from what GG had originally posted. You have actually made yourself seem like a pompus ass and Im not sure why. Has GG ever belittle you? Of course not so in defense to her, I agree with CS. Oh, by the way here are some RECENT articles pertaining to what GG had stated.

Hi, anon.

"I'm not sure why you are bringing up other articles and getting away from what GG had originally posted."

Because one of the things you consider when assessing the credibility of an assertion is its source. Yes, the Economist makes mistakes, but they are generally more accurate in their coverage than the Weekly World News. When I reviewed Gabriella's source, I was struck by the number of articles that, frankly, would have fit right into WWN.

"You have actually made yourself seem like a pompus ass and Im not sure why."

Sorry you feel that way. However, that doesn't change the accuracy of the source, or of Gabriella's summary. I should note that those who claim blogs are going to replace mainstream media cite the fact that bad research or unreliable sources usually get picked up: that's what happened her. If you don't want your sources challenged, best not to be blogging.

Thanks for the links - some interesting interpretation of the food shortage from both sides of the political fence. However, since I don't dispute the reality of the food shortage, I'm a bit of a loss as to their relevance, unless I missed the part where they talked about Obama ordering out the troops.

Gabriella, I apologize if you found my tone "belittling". I disagree with your post for the reasons cited, but you seem like a nice person, and I regret it if I caused you offense. My style is heavily sarcastic, but not intended to be cruel.

Thank you Mr. B. I really am trying to get use to the tone many of you use on here. I have always tried to explain what I mean in a simple way so other readers can understand. I work around people that need to be on a certain level than what I am use to on here. So, therefore, I always try to present in a more simplified way. I feel you and others on here can talk with more...'style'but I want to hit all groups of people. So, thank you again for apologizing. It does mean something to me.

Balbulican said...

Dude - you're going to have to be a lot less obvious than that.

Balbulican said...

So curiously, after all that sound and fury, we end up back at the beginning.

a) Obama did NOT order the military to prepare for Spring Food Riots, and the source cited did not, in fact, claim that he had. Agreed?

b) That source is one crazy-assed site. In addition to the Vatican's Secret Planet and the Secret American Earthquake Generator, here are some of the other "news" stories they're featuring:

"U.S. research team says it has found Atlantis in Spain"

"Human Era Warned Is Ending After Singularity Attacks America" (this one is cool, another leaked "grim" Soviet report about, basically, a a self aware computer system being responsible for 9/11.

"Microwaved Water Kills Plants"

"Three giant spaceships to attack Earth in 2012?"

Pretty funny.

Peter Mansbridge and his cohorts have no clue what Canada is or about. He goes from one tunnel to the next without setting foot outside where the 'common' folks roam.
He hates the PM for bringing in the Accountability Act and Access to Information Act. Why, because we have interrupted CBC own world of secrecy; even the judge has ordered CBC to expose their books which they frankly refuse to do so.

When Japan starts to sell off their bonds at firesale prices (punn intended) and the US economy crashes and crumbles, are you saying that there won't be any food riots or hording or stockpiling?

The stores will empty in a matter of hours and with full body contact.

Look what happened in LA after the Rodney King jury decision, and you don't think there will be civil unrest thrust upon the nation immediately? I nearly drove into those riots, but an angel warned us not to go there (that story is for another day) and stayed bunkered down in a suburb, watching that whole thing live on TV. Had carloads of black gang-bangers roving through the neighbourhood we were in, looking for the opportunity for payback. That is not a situation I cherish to be in again. But, I know that it is coming, as that was just a little foreshadowing for the things to come.

Blab, the MSM are not going to print real news stories, they are only going to print what is in the script. Reading between the lines is important to staying flexible and keeping your head on during these types of crises. Sorry to burst your CBC bubble there!

Balbulican said...

"{are you saying that there won't be any food riots or hording or stockpiling? "

I have no idea where you got that idea from, G-man. There WILL be food shortages, and there may very well be riots.

"Sorry to burst your CBC bubble there!"

Just out of curiosity, G-man:
- did you follow Gabriella's link?
- did you note the stories on Earthquake Generators, Secret Planets, computers launching 9-11, etc, etc?

If no, then please do. Then answer this question with a straight face: do you see NO qualitative difference between that calbier of "journalism" and the journalism practiced by the CBC? Honestly?

glacierman said...

Blab, your relative thinking has gotten in the way of stepping back and honestly and with wide eyes, not liberal coloured glasses, examine the reporting that CBC does. All "news" is from a viewpoint. It happens to align more closely with your belief system and values, therefore you are unable to see the spin they are putting on the news.

Listen for key words like "terrorist" "freedom fighter" "pro-choice" "anti-abortion" "pro-life" and the like. They are spun into the context with their script and choices.

Take a pen a write down those words and listen for them the next time you watch or listen. It just might surprise you!

Balbulican said...

I'm very familiar with the nature of media selection bias, G-man. Thanks. That's why I always check sources.

You didn't answer my question, so I'll repeat it: and I would appreciate an honest and unequivocal answer.

"Do you see NO qualitative difference between that caliber of "journalism" and the journalism practiced by the CBC? Honestly?

Canadian Sentinel said...

Indeed, Canuckguy. Gabriella marvelled to me about the fact that Balbsy's always checking out this blog... always. We can see via Sitemeter data that he's ALWAYS here. Kind of like an OCD. Myself, I"m almost NEVER checking out his "Stage Left" blog.

Canadian Sentinel said...

Hey, Balbsy... do you not realize that longtime readers of your comments have already come to the conclusion that you're sophisticatedly fullashit? ;)

Hiding behind impressive rhetoric isn't fooling most folks, ya know. And it doesn't take long to see that you just enjoy mixing it up, to hell with the truth and evidence. It's like a silly sport for you, isn't it?

Canadian Sentinel said...

Yes, Balbsy, we're impressed with your intelligence, literary and rhetorical prowess, hell, even with your career/business/financial success, etc.

Not so impressive is your penchant for silly bullpoopery. ;)

Balbulican said...

"It's like a silly sport for you, isn't it?"

Not quite. It's an experiment.

Balbulican said...

"to hell with the truth and evidence."

Actually, my friend, if you review my comments, I think you'll find that I'm the one who keeps coming back to the question of "evidence".
