Lib Leader Dion A Conspiracy Theorist: Gov't

Stephane Dion, left (literally and figuratively, to gross extremes): Afraid of imaginary scary stuff. Does he think that bearded guy is Mahmoud Ahmadinejad?

Story here. h/t: Bourque.org
Liberal Leader Stéphane Dion yesterday transformed the National Press Theatre into the Theatre of the Absurd when he made wholly unsubstantiated allegations of "secret negotiations" on Canadian bulk water exports.
According to media reports, Dion told Canadians: “I don’t believe the government. I believe there are secret negotiations.” Those same media reports cite the only "proof" Dion was later able to offer were borrowed rantings from the far left Council of Canadians, a group that opposes the North American Free Trade Agreement.
"Mr. Dion has made a serious allegation in a public forum," said Conservative MP Pierre Poilievre. "He now either provides facts to support his claims of conspiracy, or he demonstrates – once again – that he is a weak leader."
(...)
"Mr. Dion's credibility and that of the Liberal Party is on the line," said Poilievre. "Unless he can prove his unsubstantiated allegations Canadians will question whether the Liberal Party is a serious governing alternative."
Imagine that: a far-left, corrupt party under dozens of separate, simultaneous criminal investigations into its activities while in power... now with a leader who is a conspiracy theorist!
Congratulations, Stephanie! You're right up there now with Hillary "Vast, Right-Wing Conspiracy" Clinton! You two left-wing extremist fools can lose your next respective federal elections together so you can co-miserate rather than moping and sulking all alone!
Stephane Dion might as well just quit his day job and join the "progressive" blogosphere to make his silly allegations in the future. There must be an opening at Stage Left... they loooove to spew conspiratorial and other nonsense there, ya know...
But if he stays Liberal "leader", that's just fine with me and with the government.
Guess it's fine with his Party membership too. They clearly want this crackpot to lead them into the next election.
Cool!
Helloooooo, landslide majority victory!
