Daniel Ali, co-author with Jihad Watch founder Robert Spencer, of Inside Islam: A Guide for Catholics:
At a time when Islam is gaining strength worldwide, Ali told fellow Catholics in attendance that the "first line of defense is to know to your faith."
Catholics must be willing to speak up when their faith is under assault, Ali said.
When Christians engage Muslims, they must avoid the temptation to equivocate in their beliefs in order to appease or keep the peace.
"You cannot flush out Jesus for the sake of getting along with Muslims," Ali said. "They do not like wishy-washy people. They are much more respectful of those who stand by their convictions."
Do not back down. Do not appease. Do not submit to intimidation, nor threats. Defend your faith.
Remember: Muslims are brought up to be disdainful of weakness. Weakness will ensure you will not be respected by Muslims. Therefore, the more strongly you stand up for yourself and your faith, the more you'll be respected.
This means that we must not continue to allow Christianity (and Judaism) to be trod upon by Islamists, (nor by liberals/leftists, either!) for to submit to their hostility and violence only makes them more hateful and violent towards us. Therefore, the best course of action is to stand one's ground, never capitulate, never submit, and fight if necessary. How much we fight depends on the Islamists- if they're continuously killing our people no matter what, then a Crusade will be necessary. Eventually, the time may well come again where we've no choice anymore.
