Children Raped by UN Staff?

If true, this could destroy the UN, which is already staggering and stumbling from other scandals.

"A man in a white car drove past and asked me if I wanted to get into the car with him. I saw that the car was a UN car because it was white with the black letters on it. The man had a badge on his clothes. When he stopped the car, we got out, he put a blindfold on me and started to abuse me. It was painful and went on for a long time. When it was over we went back to the place we had been, and he pushed me out of the car and left."

Jonas now returns to the same place regularly in the hope of being picked up and paid something for his services. "I know it is a terrible thing to do but I see the UN cars around late at night by the drinking places and I sit there in the hope of being picked up. If I get 1000 SD ($3) a day then that is a good day."

Is the UN turning children into prostitutes?

Why doesn't the UN conduct an aggressive, scrupulous inquiry into this? Why isn't the MSM going moonbatshit all over the scandalous accusations?

Imagine the international uproar if US Marines were accused of this sort of thing... they wouldn't be given the benefit of the doubt by too many folks who hate America, would they?

There seems to be proof against the UN staff:

The Telegraph understands that the Sudanese government, which is deeply opposed to the deployment of UN troops to Darfur, has also gathered evidence, including video footage of Bangladeshi UN workers having sex with three young girls.

Jane Holl Lute, the UN assistant secretary-general for peacekeeping, says:

"I do not believe these are new allegations. Nevertheless, we will treat them as seriously as we treat all other allegations," she told the Associated Press in New York.

Oh, isn't that comforting? We know very well how seriously the UN takes all other allegations against itself! Which is not very!

Come on... let's scrap the whole thing. Not only is it corrupt and criminal, it's effectively controlled by evildoers anyway.

It's time for a whole new international body... and membership shall be restricted to nations that are democratic and which actually respect human rights and go out of their way to prove it beyond all doubt.

And the new organization must be effective, must have sharp teeth... and actually use them to prove that its bite is as powerful as its roar!

Otherwise, the Saddams and Ahmadinejads of the world will just laugh at the international community and do whatever they want, including possible nuclear aggression.

And they've been laughing.

The UN is dead. Time to pull the plug!
