Did a November election-bound Toronto Mayor David Miller and his handpicked Chief of Police Bill Blair give The Toronto Star its exclusive scoop on the historic police raid on 17 suspected terrorists, on June 2?

Sources tell Canada Free Press that many of the approximate 400 officers who participated in the raid felt "compromised" when they arrived at the Pickering police station to find Star staff on site.

When the roughly 400 police officers–who had to sign the Official Secrets Act pledging their total discretion- arrived to deliver the suspects to the Durham Regional Police Station in Pickering–Toronto Star reporters were already there.

Prime Minister Stephen Harper didn't know the raids were forthcoming. Neither did Ontario Premier Dalton McGuinty.

But Toronto Mayor David Miller knew. How? The very chief of police he personally appointed told him. Why the Mayor but not the Premier nor even the Prime Minister? Inexplicable! Why didn't he pass on this information to them? Why does he even need it if the higher authorities weren't briefed?

And how else would the Toronto Star have known precisely where and when to be present to take pictures of the supposedly secret police operations? They won't say.

From the outset the liberal leading Toronto Star has reported on the terror suspects in a politically correct fashion. On Saturday, the suspects were described in a front-page story as being caught between two cultures.

OPP officers assigned to the native standoff in Caledonia say their bosses have put their public image ahead of officer safety and law and order.

Talking for the first time since the volatile land occupation began 100 days ago, the president of the Ontario Provincial Police Association said a meeting is being held tonight in Caledonia so the association can hear the concerns of officers who have been told not to wear riot gear or tactical uniforms when dealing with native protestors, are being sent out without proper back-up and are left wondering if commanding officers and the courts will back them up when they try to enforce the law.

"Due to the political pressures and optics involved with this, the OPP seems to be bending their own rules while sacrificing officer safety," Karl Walsh said. "Optics don't have any place on the front lines at Caledonia."

So far, 13 officers have been injured while assigned to the stand-off. Some injuries could have been avoided if officers had been allowed to follow their usual procedures, officers say.

Blocking the highway for 100 days.

Destroying public property.

Mugging a reporter.

Breaking the law.

Police ordered to do nothing. Their safety is endangered. They cannot do their job. They cannot uphold law and order. They cannot uphold the Charter of Rights and Freedoms.

I didn't make this up. The police say this is so.

This also reminds me of "gay pride" parades: it is a fact that public nudity and indecent exposure are crimes in Canada. Yet in these special parades, gays walk down the street with their sexual organs fully exposed, including to children. The police do nothing.

Any other situation, when a person is naked in public, they're arrested and charged under the Criminal Code.

There are only two possible reasons for the difference:

1) The police aren't doing their job during any gay parades, or

2) The politicians and the police officers' superiors have ordered them to allow the gay people to violate the laws of Canada, just as they were ordered to allow Aboriginals to violate the laws of Canada.

I contend that 2) is the believable scenario, for if police refused to do their jobs of their own accord, they'd be disciplined appropriately. But they're doing their best. They're just being ordered not to do thier jobs!

It's the same situation in both the Aboriginal occupation and the gay parades' specially enforcement-exempt indecent exposure.

Therefore, I do hereby declare:

The law in Canada does not, in practice, apply equally to all persons. It is applied according to whatever "group" to which one supposedly belongs. And this is wrong. This is unconstitutional. This is unCanadian.

Canadians must take notice. If we don't, then our country will be run by ideologues hellbent on imposing the dangerous dogmatic ideology of "political correctness".

UPDATE: Ontario police seek arrest warrants after violence at aboriginal blockade

Police are looking for seven people who face several charges, including attempted murder, assault and forcible confinement, after a string of violent clashes at the scene of a long-standing aboriginal blockade in southern Ontario.

An Ontario Provincial Police officer suffered serious injuries Friday after angry aboriginal protesters surrounded a U.S. Border Patrol vehicle and dragged out its three occupants.

The injured officer was pulled out of the path of the stolen vehicle as it was driven deliberately at him, OPP Const. Doug Graham said Saturday.

A frank, honest statement by a Muslim. This is exactly the sort of thing I've been calling for! Because only a Muslim can effectively tell the Islamic world what its problem is... and not be slammed and dismissed as a mere "Islamophobe".

This is immensely helpful. I'm extremely encouraged by this good man's article and what he has written. The more Muslims there are communicating the truth rather than lies and dogmas and fundamentalism, the more Muslims will listen and take an honest, critical look at themselves and their faith.

And the more Muslims who dare to speak the truth and dare to criticize the Islamic world for its own faults, the more nonMuslims will listen and come to realize that not all Muslims wish to be our enemy.

This gives me hope that there might, after all, be a huge number of Muslims, hopefully the majority, that don't take every single dictate of the Koran literally, nor believe that they must wage jihad against nonMuslims simply because their holy book says so.

This gives me hope that one day, perhaps not too far off, there will be genuine peace and harmony between the Islamic and nonIslamic worlds. Then human civilization can really progress once again.

Investigators from the Northeast Intelligence Network interviewed two officers assigned to the Joint Terrorism Task Force (JTTF) within the last 24-hours; one official is based in Boston and the other in New York. Neither officer could grant us permission to use their names for this interview, but both are well known to this agency. In the interview with the federal officer based in the Boston area late yesterday, he acknowledged that there are multiple, significant “pre-incident indicators” that are causing a great deal of concern among investigators. Although he declined to publicly cite the indicators, he said that some are consistent with those events that led up to the London train bombings. He acknowledged that investigations and surveillance operations are actively in progress across the U.S., some in conjunction with Canadian authorities.

Chinese: US 'Rude' To Mention Tiananmen

China opposes the "rude interference" of the United States in calling for a full accounting of the crackdown on the 1989 Tiananmen Square protests, the official Xinhua news agency said on Wednesday.

"The U.S. statement is a groundless criticism and attack on China," Foreign Ministry spokesman Liu Jianchao was quoted as saying in a statement.

Huh? That coming from bloodthirsty, imperialist communist China? Axis Power leader China? China, who's secretly spending Heaven knows how much on its amassing of military might in preparation for something big (shades of the Third Reich in the runup to Hitler's starting of World War II)? China, who's allied with fellow Axis evil empire Iran, along with the rest of the stinking craplot of them?

What Muslims Need to Do

Vigilante violence and threats arise, of course, out of frustration -- a sense that authorities aren't doing what they should be doing, and cannot be counted on to meet a threat. Elmasry and all Canadian Muslims could help dispel these frustrations by renouncing Sharia and all jihad violence, and working with Canadian authorities to root jihadist sentiments out of the Canadian Muslim community.

That would be extremely helpful towards reassuring more Canadians that not all Muslims believe nor obey everything that the Koran dictates... for example, that it requires all able-bodied Muslims to wage jihad against "unbelievers". If Muslims can prove with clear, explicit, unequivocal words and concrete actions taken to help wipe out jihadism in Canada and internationally within Islam, that will go a long way towards dispelling this "frustration" which leads to Mosque vandalism, threats, violence, etc.

The Muslims are responsible for their faith. They must cleanse it of the hatred and the killing which is permeating Islam like an aggressive cancer, like flesh-eating bacteria. If any other faith had these afflictions, one can be assured that they would proceed to root them out for the sake of the very survival of the faith.

A religion founded on supremacism, intolerance and murder cannot survive in the modern, progressive world. A religion that absolutely forbids freedom, democracy, the rule of law and human rights cannot survive.

Muslims everywhere must realize this and take serious action. Now.
