Lynch’s brief tenure at the CHRC has been marked by scandal. This spring, the RCMP and the Privacy Commissioner both launched investigations into the conduct of Lynch’s staff who hacked into a private citizen’s Internet account. Lynch’s staff have also admitted under oath to joining neo-Nazi organizations, and publishing hundreds of bigoted remarks on the Internet.

“It’s grotesque that the woman who approved of neo-Nazi memberships for her staff would show her face when we give thanks to the men and women who liberated us from Nazism.”

In her bizarre press release, Lynch doesn’t mention the First or Second World Wars, the Boer War or Korea. But she has plenty of praise for herself, the CHRC and the United Nations.

“Jennifer Lynch just doesn’t get it. Remembrance Day isn’t about her, or her pathetic attempt to rehabilitate the discredited CHRC. It’s about our fallen soldiers. Greg Thompson, the Minister of Veterans Affairs, should order her to keep away from the ceremony,” concluded Levant.

Funny how the Left self-labels itself and its stuff with positive-sounding words.

We've all heard the meaningless, misleading Leftist self-labelling word "progressive". As if simply calling oneself and one's stuff "progressive" makes it so.

We know that the Chinese Communist regime calls its army the "Peoples' Liberation Army", notwithstanding that the Chinese People haven't been "liberated" by them and, in fact, are tyrannized by them!

We know that North Korea ironically uses "Democratic" in its official national name, though it certainly isn't democratic by any standard.

And when Leftists say something is "fair", it's highly unlikely to be. Anyone who's been bullied by "fair" Left-wing crap knows that the Left isn't fair. Really, when Leftists say "fair", they actually mean "Fair for me, not for you, sucker!"

Only the Left would have the gall to claim that forcing non-Leftists to grant Leftists equal talk time is "fair". After all, does anyone believe that Leftists would also be forced by their own people to grant equal talk time to those whom they hate and want to shut up? Never happen, and we know this. That, after all, is the essence of the Left: Double standards; Do as I say, not as I do; The rules and laws apply to you, not to me, and if you don't like that, too bad, for that's the way it is, because it's fair to so-and-so, and that's all that matters, being fair to so-and-so, to hell with you and yours...

We know that the big-money mainstream media is anything but fair and balanced, with notable exceptions, such as FOX News (funny how Leftists hate fairness and balance if it includes things that they don't like and which tend to expose their agenda and pose inconveniences and roadblocks thereto, or which provide an alternative viewpoint for voters to consider, which the Left doesn't want them to consider at all). We know from watching/reading the big-money media that it's biased and slanted largely leftwards, even if it allows some expression by non-Leftists. It's all in the final presentation, you see- they might put on a show of "fairness and balance", but they manipulate the final messaging-package so as to favor the Left's agenda and spin and diminish/downplay that of the non-Left.

The last thing Americans need is the state telling them how to run their media outlets. After all, this isn't a totalitarian nation we're talking about- it's supposed to be a nation founded on the principle of liberty and freedom of expression, not on the doctrine of what the Leftist-dominated state apparatus claims to be "fair" or "equitable". Allowing the Leftist-dominated state apparatus to "regulate" ("dictate" might be a better description, for in actual practice, we know full well that those liberal fascists tend to get overzealous and act like dictators or brownshirts, etc.).

Does anyone really believe that the Left doesn't already have at least an equally powerful voice? After all, take the major media outlets, the main TV networks, the major newspapers like the New York Times, take, even, the educational system and the courts, which are dominated by ideologically hellbent Leftists pushing the Leftist agenda wherever, whenever possible. America certainly doesn't need to give the Left an even more powerful voice, via bullying and jackbooting non-Leftists who happen to have a large audience for their media outlets, something that the Left can't stand, as the Left, after all, wants to control all messaging being disseminated to the population at large. This is how the Left achieves its thought-and-behavior-control goals. We know this. We don't need the Leftist media to tell us whether it's true or not... as if they're going to admit that they have this agenda, for such admission would be counterproductive thereto. We just know it. And they know that we do, and they want to prevent any more people from finding out about it, too. Hence their fascist intent, lyingly sugarcoated with the word "fairness".

We can't trust the Left to be "fair", because we know they aren't!

God help America, for now she has a Hard-Left President-Elect who's already obviously unbearably anxious to impose his radical agenda on Americans against their will, not wanting to even wait until he's constitutionally in power (as if he's constitutionally even eligible to be President, as it's not clear, not proven, that he's American-born as required, but that's another story)...

It's going to be a long, difficult four years for Americans, I'm afraid... but at least those who foolishly voted for Obama when they ought've known better will learn their lesson the hard way.

WASHINGTON (AP) — A Republican congressman from Georgia said Monday he fears that President-elect Obama will establish a Gestapo-like security force to impose a Marxist or fascist dictatorship.

"It may sound a bit crazy and off base, but the thing is, he's the one who proposed this national security force," Rep. Paul Broun said of Obama in an interview Monday with The Associated Press. "I'm just trying to bring attention to the fact that we may — may not, I hope not — but we may have a problem with that type of philosophy of radical socialism or Marxism."

The warning, on the front page of an Arabic newspaper published in London, Al-Quds Al-Arabi - and widely reported in the major Italian papers - quotes a person described as being "very close to al-Qaeda" in Yemen.

The paper is edited by Abdel al-Bari Atwan, who is said to be the last journalist to interview Osama bin Laden in 1996. According to the report, bin Laden is himself closely following preparations for an attack against the US and aims to "change the face of world politics and economics". The operative is quoted as saying that "this will be shown by the fact that we now control a major part of the south of Somalia".

The warning has emerged at the same time as publication of a report leaked to The Telegraph newspaper which reveals that a document drawn up by the intelligence branch of the Ministry of Defence says that thousands of extremists are active in the UK.

It's been discovered in a survey that seven percent of Canadians have never even heard of the Holocaust, in which millions of Jews were murdered by Hitler's Nazis. Astonishing! Aren't the schools teaching history? Or are they cleansing history of the truth that matters? Or what? Are they rewriting history, perhaps changing the curriculum to instead reflect possibly-fabricated, fantasy, Far-Left-preferred, politically-correct "history", to please the Far Left , therefore pushing out the really important stuff? This is a shocker, for sure! I bet some folks didn't know that Canada fought in world wars, helping beat the Axis powers, killing many, many enemy combatants. Many don't realize, obviously, that Canada is a warrior nation which will go to war to defend freedom, democracy, the rule of law and human rights. No kidding! Some people harbor the bizarre delusion, thanks to MSM propaganda, that Canada is only a "peacekeeping" nation! Incredible, such misinformation so many have! Further, pretty much nobody is aware of a holocaust happening today, this time in China, this time against the Falun Gong... the Communists are systematically exterminating Falun Gong practitioners... did you know that? Probably not, because the mainstream media won't tell us, if they've heard of it themselves, that is.

And there's other holocausts happening right now in the world of which most are unaware, probably because those perpetuating them are "non-white" and/or Muslim, and it would be considered under political correctness to be racist or Islamophobic to even mention that minorities/Muslims are wiping out entire groups of people simply because they're different and because they hate them.

Keep this in mind tomorrow, for tomorrow is Remembrance Day.

Unfortunately, many folks probably haven't a bloody clue what it's about at all! And this is tragic! But I'm sure the Far Left likes it this way, as they want to rewrite history so as to fool as many folks as possible into believing that whatever the Far Left says about history is the truth, and that the actual truth is a lie. For shame!

Obama's Virtually Mandatory National 'Service Corps' Frightening: Critics

I recently blogged about what some have called "Obama Youth", but it didn't get any mainstream media attention, nor did the Republicans bother to say anything about this ominous, scary sounding thing.

Now there's renewed attacks on this massive, hugely expensive, virtually mandatory/very hard to say no to, hidden-agenda program of Obama's.

"If we're going to create some kind of national police force as big, powerful and well-funded as our combined U.S. military forces, isn't this rather a big deal?" Farah wrote. "I thought Democrats generally believed the U.S. spent too much on the military. How is it possible their candidate is seeking to create some kind of massive but secret national police force that will be even bigger than the Army, Navy, Marines and Air Force put together?

"Is Obama serious about creating some kind of domestic security force bigger and more expensive than that? If not, why did he say it? What did he mean?" Farah wrote.

The Blue Collar Muse blog commented, "The questions are legion and the implications of such an organization are staggering! What would it do? According to the title, it's a civilian force so how would it go about discharging 'national security' issues? What are the Constitutional implications for such a group? How is this to be paid. … The statement was made in the context of youth service. Is this an organization for just the youth or are adults going to participate? How does one get away from the specter of other such 'youth' organizations from Nazi Germany and the former Soviet Union when talking about it?"

Michael Kinsley also commented generally on plans for enlisting America's youth in voluntary versus required volunteerism on Time's website: "Problem number one with grand schemes for universal voluntary public service is that they can't be both universal and voluntary. If everybody has to do it, then it's not voluntary, is it? And if it's truly up to the individual, then it won't be universal."

It sounds to me like a scheme to indoctrinate/brainwash youth against their and their parents' wishes and against their rights. It, even worse, raises the specter of the possibility that such a staggeringly massive "civilian defence" force of brainwashed "progressive" national socialists (yes, national socialists!) could overthrow a future (Republican) US government somehow, a la the Bolshevist Revolution led by Vladimir Lenin that led to the creation of the USSR and the murders of millions and millions of innocent "inconvenients".

I said that Barack Hussein Obama has a hidden agenda and I stand by this contention.

You don't have to agree right now. But you probably will, eventually, when you see the agenda being implemented in a hurry, likely well before the midterm elections in a couple of years.

And the cost is simply staggering. How will it be paid for? I can't imagine. Higher taxes, gutting the US Forces, getting rid of Social Security, what? All these questions leave the reasonable person with a feeling of foreboding, apprehension, dread... because we don't know exactly what Obama's hidden agenda is.

I sincerely believe that the rights of Americans are now endangered by the election of President Obama. Because I've already seen the Left trampling all over Americans' rights in the Leftist-dominated courts and in Leftist-dominated jurisdictional governing bodies, which apparently have been directing police to disregard the rights of Americans when following politicians' ideologically-motivated orders. I've blogged about this extensively, after all... and I'm far, far, far from alone.

Liberal Campaign Workers Arrested

LÉVIS- Five Liberal campaign organizers in Lévis face charges of public mischief after posters of the local Action démocratique du Québec MNA were taken down and replaced with posters of the Liberal candidate.

The organizers were stopped in their car around 10:40 p.m. Friday, Lévis police confirmed yesterday, as the ADQ deplored the "barbarous tactics."

"The vandals aren't just anybody; they're Liberal organizers in Lévis and they were easily identified by police," said MNA Christian Lévesque, calling on Liberal adversary Gilles Lehouillier to apologize.

"The Liberals have disproportionally higher finances than us, so it's particularly odious and indecent that they destroy our material."

Stupid. Very, very stupid. Well, what do you expect from Left-wing extremists? They cheat to win, believe they're entitled to do whatever they want. Sure they do- otherwise they wouldn't do it! We've seen Leftists do this before, as well.

Hoaxical or flimsy new gimmick, or great, revolutionary technology destined for future commonality like turbochargers, overhead cams and multi-valve heads?

We'll find out real soon, as it's supposed to be available in January '09.

The system, which is dubbed 'H2GO' and works in tandem with a regular petrol engine, separates the water using electrolysis into its base hydrogen and oxygen elements. The hydrogen is then mixed with petrol and injected into the air intake, as normal. Hydrogen is carbon free and has a higher octane rating than petrol, so CO2 is reduced and performance is improved.

That means the Scorpion's Honda sourced 3.5-litre V6 engine generates 300bhp and propels the 998kg car from 0-100 Km per hour in around four seconds, all the while returning 1.60 km per litre. A twin-turbo 'HX' version is available too, with 450bhp and a top speed of over 321 Km per hour.

I think "1.6 km per litre" (translating to a horrendously measly 4.5 mpg US???) is an extremely erroneous figure- if my car got that, then on the 50-litre tank, I'd just get 80 km, whereas in reality I get well over 500 km. So I'd ignore that figure, assuming it's a typo by a journalist who doesn't understand cars very well. Besides, I just checked one of my car coffee-table books, a British one, and found that the old gas-gulping 1970 Aston Martin DBS V8 gets twice the efficiency at 3.2 km/l, or just 9 mpg US. Compare that to my car, a Chevy Cobalt, which gets about 30 mpg US.

Sales begin in January, but with only 200 cars planned initially environmentally savvy supercar fans need to be quick to get their hands on one. Priced at around $176,000 for the standard car and $296,868 for the HX, potential suitors will need to be rich too. However, there's good news for the rest of us, because the hydrogen injection system will go on sale as an aftermarket kit for any car.

Due to hit the shelves in January too, the $1,112 kit can be retro fitted to any motor and will improve fuel consumption by 20-25 percent, reducing emissions to boot. See, who said limited run motor show supercar concepts are irrelevant?

Hmm... interesting. The cost of the electrolysis/injection system doesn't, at first, seem too high, though one would have to add the cost of a mechanic's labor and the cost of the very-likely voidance of the vehicle's warranty, if applicable, plus since the technology is so newfangled, there's likely to be serious reliability problems and potential compatibility problems with engines that weren't necessarily designed to accommodate/integrate such a system's integration. So the fuel-economy gain wouldn't necessarily be enough to make it worth the cost and risk, perhaps not even if you're on the road all day long, like a taxi driver (taxi drivers are already turning to hybrids, which actually have proven as reliable as anything else on the road, including the surprisingly very long-lived battery packs which have easily gone 400,000 km in taxis without replacement and still counting, plus save mountains of gas and money compared to non-hybrids).

Is this snake oil? Is it part of the big Chicken Little "climate-change" moneymaking scare scam started by Al Gore? Is someone trying to make a fast buck? Is this another Bricklin, another DeLorean? Another Tucker Torpedo? Or even worse?

Or could it be the next big thing in automotive powerplant tech?

We'll see. Might as well do a little online research just for the fun of it to see what other automotive websites are saying about this thing.

Nevertheless, that car there- man, does it look cool, eh? Looks like they took an old Lambo Diablo and gave it an entirely new skin.

Hmm... you know, maybe they should've called that car the "Barack" or the "Obama" or the "BHO"... it bedazzles, sounds like a miracle-worker, is well-spoken of, but I have doubts as to its being for real or its likelihood of performing reliably, if at all. Something tells me that it could well prove to be another Torpedo/DeLorean/Bricklin.

A victory for the hysterical Oprah Winfrey, the mad racist preacher Jeremiah Wright, the mainstream media who abandoned any sense of objectivity long ago, Europeans who despise America largely because they depend on her, comics who claim to be dangerous and fearless but would not dare attack genuinely powerful special interest groups. A victory for Obama-worshippers everywhere.

A victory for the cult of the cult. A man who has done little with his life but has written about his achievements as if he had found the cure for cancer in between winning a marathon and building a nuclear reactor with his teeth. Victory for style over substance, hyperbole over history, rabble-raising over reality.

A victory for Hollywood, the most dysfunctional community in the world. Victory for Streisand, Spielberg, Soros and Sarandon.

Victory for those who prefer welfare to will and interference to independence. For those who settle for group think and herd mentality rather than those who fight for individual initiative and the right to be out of step with meagre political fashion.

Victory for a man who is no friend of freedom. He and his people have already stated that media has to be controlled so as to be balanced, without realizing the extraordinary irony within that statement. Like most liberal zealots, the Obama worshippers constantly speak of Fox and Limbaugh, when the vast bulk of television stations and newspapers are drastically liberal and anti-conservative.

Guess I'm not the only bald, conservative Christian scribe who can see through all the smoke, mirrors and painted-foam or papier-mache Parthenon/Acropolis, dazzling, colorful fireworks, hearing-and-brain-numbing crap music, hey-lookit rising platforms (hey, who does Obama think he is, Britney Spears?!)...
