Canadian Economy Doing Very Nicely, Actually

Recession... what recession?

Why do so many folks seem to think there's any serious economic problems overall in Canada?

TORONTO (Reuters) - The Canadian dollar rocketed to its highest level in just over a week versus the U.S. dollar on Friday in one swift move as data showed the domestic economy created five times more jobs than expected in February.

Surprise, surprise! How incovenient for the Liberals! No wonder they have to try to manufacture a new "scandal" every day to give themselves some crap to throw at the government.

Triggering the rise in the Canadian dollar was a report from Statistics Canada that showed the economy added 43,300 jobs last month, blowing past market orecasts for a gain of 8,000 amid signs of softer growth.

The dire, negative predictions of the doubting thomases have once again been proven false. What, do the MSM and progressive commentators actually want there to be a recession? Why the hell do they keep talking the economy down? I thought it was politically incorrect to talk the economy down as opposed to being cautiously optimistic. Why does it seem to be a foregone conclusion that if the US has some economic speedbumps facing it, Canada will necessarily follow as a matter of course? I mean, the Conservatives have already taken strong measures to stimulate our economy via the greatest, broad-based tax cuts and reforms in Canadian history, with some already implemented and others legislated to begin later? This can only have a positive stimulatory effect from now on, and what better way to help Canada weather a possible US/world economic slowdown?

As for January, how many people received the also-great news for that month? Did y'all see my post last month on just how well we're doing under the Conservatives? Here you go: What Recession? Conservatives Created 46,000 Jobs in January

Canada is united and strong overall and getting stronger.

Conservatism works. We must continue down the right path.
