Did Dion Get FCM Prez Fired For Being Tory?

Story here. h/t: Bourque

Gloria Kovach, recently fired as President of the Federation of Canadian Municipalites, accuses Stephane Dion of having her fired. She had decided to seek the Conservative nomination to run in the next federal election and lost.

Then she had a meeting with Dion. Then she was fired. Just because Dion didn't want to deal with her as FCM President.

My, but isn't Stephane Dion a really diplomatic fellow? He won't deal with the FCM as long as there was this particular someone (who happens to be a Conservative), Ms. Kovach, who was its President.

Astonishing! This amounts to discrimination on the basis of political orientation! Isn't that unconstitutional? If not, then let's ban the Communist Party, the Liberal Party, the NDP, the Marxist-Leninists, the Bloc, the Marijuana Party... why not, then? Let's fire everyone who's a Liberal just 'cause they're Liberals!!! Come on! Isn't it unconstitutional, though? Well?

She said the trouble began soon afterwards when she met with Dion for prebudget discussions. With her at that meeting, her first with the new Liberal leader, was FCM first vice-president Gord Steeves of Winnipeg.

(...)

Soon afterwards, FCM staff told her that Dion had contacted FCM and the Big City Mayors Caucus "to say he would not deal with FCM with me as president," she said in an interview Wednesday.

"From there it started a spiral: What do we do? Dion's not happy," she said.

Then she was just kicked out of the post. No explanation whatsoever. Why? Why did they dump her? Did she do anything wrong? Was her performance unsatisfactory? Is it because Dion didn't like her because she wasn't a Liberal? One also wonders about the political orientation of the FCM, now that this has happened. I guess they'll all have to go to court. And Dion is going to look bad. He might have to go onto the stand and be sworn in under oath. Kiss of political death, this kind of thing!

Kovach said she worked with all the party leaders as FCM president. "I couldn't imagine" Prime Minister Stephen Harper "trying to flex his muscles in this way," as Dion did, she said.

Indeed, this looks bad for Dion. Who wants a Prime Minister, Stephane Dion, who sounds just like the mercilessly iron-fisted Jean Chretien?

Too bad Ms. Kovach isn't a burqha-wearing Muslim lesbian! Then her job would've been iron-clad and bulletproof no matter what!

Separated At Birth: Stephane Dion & Kermit The Frog

The resemblance is uncanny, no?

Yes, they're lovable little critters, but would they make the best possible Prime Minister of Canada?

Michael Moore in High School?

Michael Moore? A chick magnet? Judging by the look on the girl's face, I don't think so. Maybe she's getting dizzy from his body odor... he shouldn't lift his arm like that. And if he stands up... whooo-peeyeww!
How'd that guy get those girls to enter his basement in the first place? must've slipped a mickey into their drinks or something...
Oh, wait! Maybe it's a teenage Rosie O'Donnel...

TorStar Slurs Tory MP in "News" Article

"News" article here. Yep. It's the Toronto (Red) Star again.

Once again, implying that they're reporting "news", they go beyond what can be considered "news" into the realm of speculation as to the mood of a Conservative MP.

They labelled him "grumpy" just because they obviously didn't like his remark.

Here's what happened. The leftists are once again showing their culture of entitlement and selfish hedonistic side, you'll notice.

Liberal MP David McGuinty (Ottawa South) was in the middle of proposing a change to the bill's name, largely to reflect the amendments that his party had forced, when NDP MP Nathan Cullen (Skeena-Bulkley Valley) paraded into the committee room carrying a cake to celebrate the completion of the committee's work.

A young woman from the Sierra Club youth coalition, an environmental group, sat in the audience sipping champagne that had been uncorked minutes earlier in NDP Leader Jack Layton's parliamentary office.

"As a personal position, I refuse to have cake at funerals," said grumpy Conservative MP Brian Jean, whose riding encompasses Alberta's oil sands.

Well, well... just because Mr. Jean finds the leftists' actions appalling (having cake and champagne while they're supposed to be taking things seriously) in light of the grave economic threat the leftists' amendments to the Clean Air Act pose for Canada and for Alberta in particular, the Toronto Star calls him "grumpy"? In a supposed "news" report? This isn't "news"; it is opinion. No wonder the TS won't put a header on the top of its pages to identify whether the article is fact-based news or just opinion.

(Is it any surprise, btw, that the moonbats in Toronto would make a slur against an Albertan and wouldn't care what would happen to Alberta's economy due to their amendments, which, if they think will be accepted, they're just stoned again?)

They should've simply reported Mr. Jean's exact quotation and left it at that.

But did they? Oh, noooooo! They, like typical leftwing extremists, just had to engage in the usual, infantile, unprofessional Conservative-bashing we witness all the time.

Maybe the TS is too damned stupid to realize that Mr. Jean wasn't grumpy, but rather appalled at the cavalier stupidity of the leftist Opposition members on the Committee, what with their pretty much doing whatever they want, damn the consequences, and eating cake and consuming alcohol... on the Peoples' own property, while they're being paid by the People.

If the left believes we're going to let them have their way, then they celebrated too soon, not that they should be celebrating when they're out of power and have no apparent chance of regaining it for a long time.

I have a feeling that the left is actually unknowingly engineering the end of their Opposition majority in the House of Commons. They're handing us a majority in the next election by playing fast and loose with the future of Canada's economy under the dubious guise of trying to prevent something the causative reality of which man doesn't really even understand: "climate change". They're expecting Canadians to believe that Canadian companies must shell out what would certainly amount to billions of dollars in new taxes and that this will surely stop the planet's climate from changing? How laughable! The planet's climate has always changed (a LOT) and always will. Long before man's appearance and long after his disappearance. But don't worry- if man ever disappears, it probably won't be his own fault. More likely it's due to forces beyond his control, like a devastating asteroid bombardment or something. Of course, that they'll blame on Bush, too...

Besides, simply imposing a carbon tax will not do a bloody thing for clean air or the environment. All it does is make doing business in Canada too expensive, thus driving companies out of the country to others whose environmental policies aren't so bloody worthless and so economically devastating! And it'll effectively destroy Alberta's oil industry, forcing us to depend on oil from the Axis of Evil nations, who, by the way, will be boosting their own supposedly-climate-change-causing greenhouse gas emissions all the while...

Of course, I think it's easy for Toronto moonbats to not care about the economy... as long as it's Alberta's, and not Ontario's, that will be at risk. How about slapping a carbon tax on Ontario's filthy, heavily-emitting coal-burning electric power generators? Never happen! Screw the moonbats of Toronto! (Not literally- you don't know who they've already been "screwing"!)

I'm convinced that the greedy, sinister characters responsible for the Great Global Warming Swindle actually are uber-leftwing extremists who hate the Free World and will do anything it takes, not matter how insane, to hurt it.

Now, what is Canada's New Government doing? If you've had your eyes open as well as your mind, you'd know. They're taking concrete action via legislation to actually effect reduced consumption and emissions. And they're doing it without putting our economy... and our jobs/livelihoods at risk. Unlike the left, who just want to mess around with money, money, money!

What does the crazy left want, that Canada be thrown into the next Great Depression while the rest of the world lives high on the hog and the climate stays pretty much the same for the next several thousand years?

The left is crazy. Calling someone "grumpy" just because they make a sarcastic remark out of frustration at leftwing stupidity and insanity isn't "grumpy". It's a natural reaction of disgust with stupid, insane moonbats. At least Mr. Jean is calm and composed, unlike the moonbats when they don't like what we're doing. Besides, how often does the TS label leftists as "hysterical"? I'd like to see a passage in which they labelled Svend Robinson or Sheila Copps as "hysterical". But I won't hold my breath.

There's no doubt that the Toronto Star is a part of what we refer to as the "unhinged left".

At least it can be used as emergency toilet paper when you run out of the "Charmin". So keep a stack of 'em behind the crapper just in case. Oh, and remember to put something worthy of being read in there, too. Like a comic book or a Playboy or something... the TS will just annoy and appall you so much your hiney hole'll tighten up and your visit to the throne'll be in vain!

Liberal Dirty Trick Reminiscent of Watergate

Steve Janke discusses.

The reasonable, common-sense person sees what the Liberals did as a crime. They stole someone else's property and proceeded to attempt to use it against them.

Liberal Leader Stephane Dion claims that the Liberals are "ready" for the next election. But if this is so, why are they taking such incredible risks, acting so desperate, in their futile, lame attempts to try and hurt the image of their Conservative opponents?

Dion has to say things are good for them when actually they're going very badly. Of course, he also says the government is bad when we know it's good.

Poor, poor, pitiful little Stephanie Dion!

Contradictory Polls

Via NationalNewswatch.com (Canada's most excellent news aggregator, in my opinion. My first stop of the day, frequently):

This poll claims that the federal Conservative government has sank in popularity, with the gap between them and the Liberals narrowing. Sounds bad, doesn't it? One would be led to think, from the way it's spun.

But this one says the Tories have broadened their lead over the Liberals to be ahead by 17 points. Plus the "Makes best Prime Minister" score for Prime Minister Stephen Harper is 41%, whereas for Liberal leader Stephane Dion it's a paltry 17%. Clearly many Liberals disapprove of their own leader! Talk about being a lame duck! It is also noted that the Tories have surged upwards in popularity in Quebec.

Here's yet another poll, with very positive findings for the Tories and their leader in British Columbia. In fact, BCers like the Conservative government's environmental agenda quite well.

Ah, but polls are only polls. After all, dogs piss on 'em. If dogs have a natural instinct to excrete the contents of their bladders onto these things, we humans can take it as a hint as to the worthiness of such things, being little more important than a sort of urinary target for our furry little woofy friends...

Daycare Increases Risk of Mental Disorder: Study

Interesting, isn't it? Details here.

Excerpts (emphasis mine):

WASHINGTON, March 26, 2007 (LifeSiteNews.com) - Analysis of the largest, longest running, and most comprehensive study of child care in the United States has found that the more time children spent in center-based care before kindergarten, the more likely their teachers were to report such problem behaviors as "gets in many fights," "disobedient at school," and "argues a lot."

The study confirms research published last year which was undertaken in Canada which found that children in daycare were 17 times more hostile than children raised at home, and almost three times more anxious. The Canadian study also found negative effects on parents.

A 2005 study from England demonstrated that a mother's care was best for toddlers' development, with nursery care linked to "higher levels of aggression." An Australian study published in 2006 confirmed prior research finding that daycare seems to damage babies' brain chemistry and affect their "social and emotional development."

The current study, which appears in the March/April 2007 issue of Child Development, found that children with more experience in child care centers showed in early grades through sixth grade, a greater frequency of what the researchers termed teacher-reported externalizing problem behavior. Teachers reported more frequent problem behaviours such as: child demands a lot of attention; argues a lot; bragging and boasting; cruelty, bullying or meanness to others; destroys things belonging to others; disobedient at school; gets into many fights; lying or cheating; screams a lot.

Here's the Canadian study, which yielded pretty much the same results.

Excerpt:

In summary, the findings revealed that children in daycare were 17 times more hostile than children raised at home, and almost three times more anxious.

Now for the political implications, and I qoute:

The authors conclude that “preliminary evidence leaves it unclear, on balance, whether this program is what is best for children and their parents.” They also warn that adopting the program would cost “significantly” more than what the Liberal government has proposed. “A potential expenditure of this magnitude demands careful understanding of the potential benefits,” they state.

I wonder why the Liberals and the left are so adamant that we "absolutely need" to shell out unpredictable billions of taxpayer monies for something PROVEN TO HARM CHILDREN (AND, LOGICALLY, SOCIETY, AS AN ULTIMATE RESULT)?

The new Conservative government of Stephen Harper has clearly proven to have done the right thing for Canada's children and for Canada.

Now for my conclusion: The family is the best place for children to spend the first five years of their lives. "Daycare" is harmful. It is proven. No question. The science is sound. Therefore, responsible citizens must oppose daycare, particularly as something forcibly funded by the taxpayers and for which the ultimate costs are unpredictable.

Therefore, it is the right thing to do to provide CHOICE IN CHILDCARE, as the Conservatives of Stephen Harper have done.

There's also, in my opinion, the very apparently real, plausible, likelihood that the Liberals and the left want institutionalized, state-funded and -run "daycare" as a sneaky means of exposing as many Canadian children as possible to ultra-extreme leftwing dogmatic indoctrination, Soviet-style, Chinese Communist-style, Cuban communist-style, Islamofacsist-style...

Now, someone should do a big study on the connection between early-childhood "center care" and leftwing stupidity and mental disorder...

UPDATE:

New research agrees: Moms do it better

Homeschooling enters the discussion.

Excerpts:

Offering hope, a study conducted by Dr. Brian Ray of the National Home Education Research Institute gives parents a vision of what is possible should they choose to take their children's education into their own hands. This highly comprehensive study, commissioned in 2003 by the Home School Legal Defense Association, surveyed over 7,300 adults who were homeschooled. The result: Children reared and educated by "maternal caregivers" in the home far surpass their institutionalized peers in both socialization and academics.

Another social development study conducted by professor Larry Shyers from the University of Central Florida concluded that home-educated children exhibit significantly better behavior than their public school peers. The study suggests this positive behavior may result because homeschooled children tend to imitate their parents, while institutionalized children model themselves after their peers. What a novel idea!

This reminds me of myself. As a kid, I was raised at home by my mom. My dad, a a mild-mannered, amiable, articulate businessman, was around a lot, too. I recall having self-discipline, thanks to my mom, while taking after my dad in social manners and interaction. I noticed that my friends and classmates were markedly different: many were more childish overall, even in my view back then as a five-year-old. I don't recall whether they were always raised by their moms or not, but I can speak for my own personal example. Ultimately, I chose to study business and found politics interesting and important. And, as my family read many books to me since I was still messing in my diapers, well, my English skill today speaks for itself, and that's been the case since I was a kid.

I'm certain I'd be quite different today if I was simply dumped in some state-run or private institution or something. There's always the risk that those in charge of the "daycare" will be idiots, won't care, will be abusive, will indoctrinate the kids against their parents' wishes, etc., etc... it's just too risky, the reasonable person realizes.

One more excerpt (emphasis mine):

The late Dr. Raymond Moore with the Hewitt Research Center quoted renowned psychologist Urie Bronfenbrenner's assertion that the withdrawal of parents in the rearing of their children is "a major factor threatening the breakdown of the socialization process in America." Indeed, Bronfenbrenner coined the phrase "social contagion" to describe the negative peer pressures contracted like diseases inside institutionalized settings.

Even I had fallen prey to these "social contagions", or negative peer pressures. And it had hurt me. When you're a kid, you're going to tend to be "open minded" to a destructive degree, as you may well have not learned to think for yourself and may tend to accept whatever you're told as true. Hence the troubles many kids sometimes find themselves getting into, the behaviors, habits, addictions... some are lucky to survive, while others will end up less lucky to varying degrees.

The point here is that daycares and schools are like small sample sizes of the overall society. And the health/viability of the overall society impacts on the daycares and schools. Therefore, the worse the society becomes, so will be the daycares and public schools, which reflect the values and norms of general society (at least those of the state apparatus, which is responsible for the administrative/political direction of society)... it's a downward spiral.

But the spiral can be reversed... upwards. Over time a society can heal itself... but only when it accepts that it needs to heal, to stop the stuff that's destroying its health and long-term viability.

(This is why I'm a "conservative". Essentially this means to be careful when "progressing", to avoid taking unnecessary risks just for kicks. The "liberals" and "progressives" are the opposite: they tend to just throw caution to the wind and do whatever they wish, elect crazy moonbats to office who, in turn, make changes in society that end up hurting it in the long run, just for the sake of transitory hedonism, to which liberals/progressives so frequently seem to be drawn, rather than towards self-responsibility, self-discipline, social responsibility, respect for others and their property, law and order, etc. Liberals/progressives simply don't appear to care about anything but feeling good right now. They don't care about the future- they leave it up to their children to worry about, unfortunately. And they frequently fail to raise, to equip their children with the ability to deal with what will ensue.)

Many of those social contagions were "contracted" in school, as I went to public school. Those of us who went to public school recall both positive and negative experiences. My, but children can be so nuts, so mean-spirited, we had learned. There are certainly children in the public school system who take after parents who may be immature, irresponsible, mean-spirited or even worse. And such children do unfortunately have a disruptive, deleterious effect on the public school experience and on other children.

And I now understand what they were and how I was affected. Today, understanding the truth about my former peers, I've greater self-esteem, don't need anyone's approval and am unafraid to question others, unafraid to think for myself and unafraid to express myself as I see fit. Like right now! See?

Leftists lack true self-esteem. They need to feel "accepted" as "part of the group". They tend to be conformists amongst similar folks. They'll submit to dogmae and lies just like that, as they're not motivated to think for themselves and are afraid to question or disagree with their peers, as their peers will likely turn away from them, and that's something that leftists cannot handle psychologically. Therefore the stupidity, delusion and mental disorders we observe in leftists. This is a result of socialism, more commonly called "liberalism" or "progressiveness". It's based on the collective, not on the individual. Socialists are obsessed with fitting in with the collective and tend to neglect themselves as individuals. No wonder liberals frequently appear so homogeneous, hold the same received opinions, spew the same dogmatic lies, act the same way as their kind (like with the inexplicable anger and screaming and stuff like that). Gosh darn... these poor souls remind me of the "Borg Collective" on Star Trek. You know, the half-humanoid, half-machine freaks who fly around in cubes resembling a collection of parts from an oil refinery, "We are Borg. We will assimilate you. Resistance is futile. Surrender or be destroyed.".

Ok, so what's the point here?

The family is the best place for socialization and education, particularly in the early formative years of a child.

This is what the government has a duty to encourage, promote, reward. If the government doesn't do this, then the government is doing society a grave disservice!

Flipper Tries To Talk Tough

Are these the eyes of a tough guy? They look like scaredy-cat eyes to me.
Stephane Dion looks like he couldn't take a walk in the park without trembling like a miniature chihuahua in Siberia!

Story here. h/t: National Newswatch

Well, Stephane Dion, bring it on!

We're just soooo shaking!

Reforming the State Apparatus

It's about time we got to work on the overall state apparatus, which, despite the fact that Conservatives are in power, is still effectively controlled by leftist forces, owing to years and years of countless appointments and hirings of Liberal Party loyalists hellbent on the pushing of the Liberal-leftwing agenda.

Of course, this doesn't mean anything radical. We aren't going to do anything the Liberals haven't already gotten away with.

Look, we were elected. This means our agenda for Canada has been approved via democratic action by the Canadian people. This entails that the state apparatus must thus be constructed so as to facilitate, not frustrate, the agenda chosen by the Canadian people.

The Canadian people have given us the mandate to do this.

So, Liberals, leftists, the MSM, etc., all you non-Conservatives: don't bother complaining. This is the way it works. In fact, this is the way you want it to work. When you were in power, you did it all the time. You stubbornly resisted implorations from us to make the state apparatus non-partisan. So you cannot complain.

The state apparatus will therefore be constructed so as to facilitate, not frustrate, the job of the duly, democratically-elected and accountable New Government of Canada.

It's what Canadians chose. It's their right to have it all go the way they voted.

Isn't democracy wonderful?

Let's get to work!

Did Liberals Steal Boxes of Tory Documents?

The Liberals are claiming that the Conservatives negligently "left behind" documents when they moved to new offices.

But what is the truth?

The following is brought to you with hat tip to Bourque.org.

Well, would it surprise anyone to learn that the Liberals stole something that didn't belong to them?

You know, this smacks of Watergate! Sure, they're not crooks, eh?

The Jihadists Are Here. Waging Jihad On Our Blogs.

Story here. It's credible, based on MEMRI research findings.

Islamic terrorists are engaged in a "media jihad" in which they encourage jihadists to pose online as Americans to foster anti-war sentiment in the U.S.

According to the Middle East Media Research Institute, or MEMRI, a posting on the Al-Mohajroon Islamist website with the username Al-Wathig Billah provides instructions on how to infiltrate popular American Internet forums and use them to distribute jihad films and spread anti-war sentiments.

"Our experience shows that such instructions often yield compliance," Eli Alshech, director of the Jihad and Terrorism Project at MEMRI, told WND.

The instructions direct jihadists to "raid non-political forums and trivia forums which American people favor."

This doesn't surprise me. I've encountered some quite bizarre characters whom I suspect of being such jihadists as described at the link.

Some even emailed me to discuss some of my posts, and I had gotten the distinct feeling that they weren't who they claimed. I did some investigation, tracking them however I could, and saw compelling evidence that, indeed, they may well have been some low-level jihadist pawns. Granted, I've never had a definitive "smoking gun" as to this, but for certain they're either some truly disturbed moonbat trolls or actual jihadists. One even went on to start a blog in which he self-identified as a jihadist from Saudi Arabia. But the same individual had also claimed to be an Israeli Jew previously. The error he made that tipped me off was the fact that he didn't bother to change his email address! If these are jihadists, they're quite daft.

Then again, leftists/liberals are quite daft as we well know, and the jihadists are going online to manipulate these folks into hating America, hating the soldiers, opposing liberation operations and supporting the overall Islamic agenda.

It's one way the jihadists are promoting and spreading Islam. It's slickly insidious enough to fool the average lefist/liberal, particularly youths amongst them.

We can fight back. One way is to deny them an opportunity to be read by not posting their comments if we use moderation. I currently am getting nonsense comments from someone who's either a radical leftist nutcase or even a jihadist pretending to be a "conservative" and uttering the very same conservative sentiments he must've picked up while lurking about the blogosphere. Just drivel. And frequently off-topic. Something tips me off, something this stupid idiot overlooked... which proves to me that it isn't a "conservative" commentor, but rather an impostor. What they're doing here, I can only speculate. But I can assure my readers that they will fail. I've caught many different undesirables and deleted them immediately. Including some quite sophisticated ones whom I later chose to terminate.

I've even received a couple of comments from someone claiming to be William Sampson, the English-Canadian man who was wrongfully accused and tortured by the Saudis. I just found it impossible to believe it was Sampson. Why on earth would he know immediately the moment I do a post about him? And why would he basically come off as an apologist for the Islamic fascists and rip into Canada, not to mention claiming his case and that of Maher Arar are the same, which they aren't? I also was astonished that he wasn't pissed that Arar is so exalted while he's so forgotten by the left. And the way he wrote- didn't sound like the writing of an Englishman at all. It, in fact, was familiar, reminding me of a different commentor/emailer, and to me, could have easily come from an Islamist, the likes of which is discussed at the link.

I've been detecting patterns in terms of various traffic specifics and locational origins. Granted, they might be nothing, but they have more than one thing in common, despite being scattered all over the world, though particularly scattered across America. And the things they have in common are quite disturbing, as they add up to something wholly implausible and bizzare, plus they came at pretty much the same time over the course of several days... but at this time I won't say what are the common denominators. Don't want to tip them off. But it was quite chilling to see the specific nature of the patterns there. So far, I have come up with only one analysis. No other analysis is coming to me yet. It's just too unusual, too abnormal.

And, no, I didn't make this up. It's the truth. And I don't care what the left will say about me due to this post. Who in their right mind cares what the left says, anyway? I used to care, but after a lifetime of getting nothing but burned by believing liberals who didn't know what they were talking about, even though they seemed to be sure of what they said, I finally realized that I couldn't go on listening to those idiots. They get burned by their dogmae and delusions, but they never come to realize that their brainless ideology is the problem, choosing instead to blame others for things that go wrong, like non-leftists, Bush, Harper, Jews, Christians, conservatives, Israel, etc. I'm so glad I was able to wake up and leave the left. And I haven't regretted it since.

I'd like to put forth the following message to our enemies:

We know you're here. We know what you're doing. We know/suspect things about you.

You will fail. Islam will fail. Whatever your ideology, if you're an enemy of the Free World, you will fail.

Yes, there are some rather stupid, weak ones amongst us. But don't assume anything. You really ought to be afraid, to look over your shoulder.

We will resist. And we will beat you. Like we've always beaten you in the past, or don't you know about that? We beat you in the Crusades. We beat you in 1967.

You think we've become weak, lazy. Go ahead with your delusion. Fools.

The Pot Calls The Kettle Black

Look! It's "Balbulican" from "StageLeft"!
Maybe, anyway. Heh!
I've spotted that moonbat before at zombietime.com.
Sorry if I made y'all barf.
But the ultra-extreme left must be exposed...
Oops... bad choice of words... I didn't mean literally exposed. Only a sick freak wants to see that!
Given a choice, I'd rather go to war than be traumatized at the sight, in person, of this, um, er... individual!

Required Reading. Absolutely.

I mean it.

Start here. And read what's at the links there.

It might surprise you. It surprised me.

What's really up with the whole thing in the Middle East? What's what about "Palestine"? Who was "Yasser Arafat", really?

Open your mind. You may be about to learn new things. The way you see the world may change a little.

Some of the information I already knew from research. But other information comes as quite a surprise... and there are lots of folks who don't want us to know about it.

For sure, the left will say it's all bullshit. But that's the left. They don't want the truth; they only want to believe what they're told. We, on the other hand, want to discover the truths that remain out there which haven't yet found their way to our minds.

Much of this stuff is footnoted, so one cannot simply dismiss it out of hand.

Read about the role of the Soviet Union in the Middle East. Learn new information that may change the way you see the whole situation.

Did you know, for example, that Yasser Arafat was not a Muslim?

Did you know that Yasser Arafat was a "Marxist-Leninist".

Did you know that Yasser Arafat was a puppet of the KGB?

That Yasser Arafat was a thief?

That it is alleged that Yasser Arafat was a homosexual and a pedophile?

Did Yasser Arafat actually die of AIDS?

I wonder: did Yasser Arafat believe he was Mohammed? He sure sounds like that scumbag to me! At least Mohammed wasn't a puppet of the KGB!

Well, go ahead and read about it for yourself.

I didn't make it up.

I'm just the messenger.

You don't have to believe any of it. But you also don't have to believe anything you've already been told, either.

So the question remains: what is the truth? And how do you know what the truth is? If someone's lying to you, who is, and why?

Breaking Liberal Scandal

Via National Newswatch...

Details here.

Excerpts from a Liberal email:

Then, yesterday, I received a telephone call from Bruce Young - a BC Campaign co-chair from head office in Vancouver. He advised me that he intended to install a woman by the name of Anne Park Shannon in the riding. He advised me that this could be accomplished in any number of ways including her direct appointment, denying approval for myself or anyone else to run against her or by manipulating the process in a variety of other ways.

Mr. Young then offered a variety of incentives to persuade me to step aside. He advised that the Liberal party has a "good record of taking care of people who agree to step aside." I have advised him that I have no interest in anything of this nature.

(...)

The arrogant approach of Mr. Young and the sense of entitlement displayed by Ms. Park Shannon represent the very worst qualities of the Liberal party. They both demonstrate a complete disrespect for the democratic process.

When I put this to Mr. Young he retorted that "The Liberal party is not a democratic organization."

Indict Ahmadinejad for Incitement to Genocide

Iranian Islamotyrant Ahmadinejad: Guilty under Article 3 of UN General Assembly Resolution 260 (1948), which lists conspiracy and incitement to commit genocide as punishable crimes.

What are we waiting for? We have heard and read about his clear, unmistakable, repeated incitements!

Via The American-Israeli Patriot.

Sign the petition to haul the mercilessly evil beast to the Hague to stand trial for exactly that which is punishable, as declared by the United Nations itself.

What's stopping the world from bringing this monster to justice for PROMISING to wipe out entire identifiable groups of people in the world?
What are we waiting for? Bind his hands and feet and put a chain around his neck and yank him over to justice at the Hague!
Wouldn't we do it to Hitler if he was around today?

Harsh words? Did you hear what he said? Does he deserve any less than that which he's going to do to us if we don't stop him?
If we could go back in time, wouldn't we stop Hitler?

Israeli Jews Marching To Take Back Their Land

Story here.

(Excerpts):

JERUSALEM – Jews who were uprooted from their homes in the northern West Bank during Israel's withdrawal from the area 17 months ago plan to return to their former communities tomorrow in hopes of resettling the territory.

In August 2005, Israel entirely evacuated the Gaza Strip and four West Bank Jewish communities. The West Bank towns encompass large swaths of strategic land at the highest point of the territory, which borders Israel's major population centers. Since Israel's withdrawal, Palestinian terror groups turned parts of the northern West Bank into important militant strongholds, according to Israeli security officials and Palestinian terror sources.

Tomorrow, a large number of activists together with 30 Jewish families evacuated from the northern West Bank will march to the former Jewish town of Homesh, located at the top of the West Bank. Organizers told protesters to bring provisions for a 48-hour stay in Homesh, while the evacuated Jewish families are hoping to remain permanently and re-establish Jewish residency in the town.

(End Excerpts)

Look- it is legally Israeli land. Jewish land. The Muslims are occupying the land, using it to wage a war of Islamic imperialism, of jihad, killing innocents merely because they aren't Muslims.

The Jews/Israelis have every right on earth to return and resettle. The Muslim supremacists/imperialists/jihadists have no right whatsoever to be there.

It was a bad political decision to expel the Jews.

Hopefully, never again will such a dangerous decision of appeasement be made.

One Thousand Posts

Cool... I've just done a thousand posts since starting this blog on September 11th, 2005!

Ok, that marks the milestone. Now back to our regular programming...

Sheila Copps Hypocritically Attacks PM Harper

Tequila Sheila's drivel here.

Sheila's been into the tequila again.

Alcohol and leftwing mental disorder aren't a good mix.

To put it in a nutshell (no pun intended- heh), Prime Minister Stephen Harper need take no lessons from Sheila Copps, who's being so silly and hypocritical as to suggest that he's a "bully".

I remember her boss, Jean Chretien, so well. That man was a big, terrible bully. No doubt about it. His meanness, including his observed physical intimidation tactics, was legendary, though many were afraid to say so. And Sheila was a Chretien loyalist, never calling him a bully.

Besides, I found Sheila herself to be quite the bully.

In fact, I recall very clearly that during the 1997 Federal Election campaign, she made a campaign stop at a Saint John, NB hospital... and had her driver park the Royal Limousine in, of all places, a handicapped parking spot. I remember seeing the whole thing caught on the news. Amazing, it was... she just smiled and pretended that everyone who thought it was a big deal was insane and was on her way. Lucky for her, the local MSM dropped the story immediately after that incident. Never heard about it since. But it did, indeed, happen.

And, Sheila, being a bully didn't hurt Chretien electorally. In fact, his "bullying" tactics effectively crushed the Opposition's electoral chances. You don't want Mr. Harper using these "bullying" tactics on your people. Even though I've seen you yourself be quite the bully, once screaming your fool head off, preventing Preston Manning from saying anything during a televised debate in the 1997 Federal Election. If that isn't "bullying", then what is it? Moonbattery unhinged?

And be advised: if you and other leftists want to try to paint Mr. Harper unfairly as a "bully" just because he's an excellent political strategist and tactician as well as being a great policy wonk, I will point out that your old boss and yourself can cast no stones, for you live in glass houses on the issue of bullying!

You Liberals... you can't take being pulverized politically. Whenever you're politically stung, you pretend to be innocent victims. What a laugh!

PM Harper needn't worry that the Liberals call him a "bully".

He's been called worse by better people!

He's not like the Liberal Sheila Copps wants to paint him. Nay; he's just scaring the Liberals with his superior intelligence. They didn't see this coming. And now they're trying to paint him negatively, forgetting that they, the Liberals, were, and are, far worse!

The Liberals... bunch of cowardly, spoiled bullies...

Iran: Brit Captives "Insurgents", Will Face "Trial" for "Espionage"

Above: the tyrannically hateful Mahmoud Ahmadinejad.

Deja vu: Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad in the 1979 Iranian hostage taking, left, and more recently. He's doing it again.

It's 1979 again.

Story here. h/t: National Terror Alert (in my sidebar)

Many will prefer to downplay this.

But I see something happening which the average person doesn't. I don't need the MSM to tell me what's happening here.

Iran clearly wants to provoke, or at least thumb her nose at, the Free World. Again, illegally using another nation's citizens for her own selfish aims.

I fear they'll get away with it.

Don't expect the left to care about the hostages. The left will probably blame Bush for what's happening, even though it's clearly Iran who's responsible!

Yes, something similar happened in 2004, but this time it might be worse. This time it could be more than just the Islamofascist regime putting on a show for its domestic audience, violating the Geneva Convention in the process.

Such a criminal regime. Imagine what it'd be like if the Free World ominously paraded Iranians blindfolded before a camera, broadcast for the world to see... imagine the international reaction. It'd be different, no?

Whatever Iran thinks she's doing, it'll only harden more Free World people against the regime... and against Islam. For this is what it's about. It's not about Iranian "sovereignty", nor about Iran's claimed "right" to have nukes. Ultimately it's about Islamic supremacism and imperialism.

And it must be fought.

House Fire Leads to Discovery of Evidence of Planned Terrorism

Story here. Emphasis mine.

Authorities responding to a fire inside the bedroom of a house in the 3300 block of North Orange Avenue in Orlando, Florida - near Florida Hospital, found more than they anticipated last night. While checking the home, police found jars of chemicals, 2 loaded guns, swords and "terrorism-related books" in the bedroom of 20 year-old Abram SMITH, ho was arrested on charges of possession of explosives and attempting to make a destructive device. Police believe that Smith, a veterinary technician and a night student at Edgewater High School to complete his high-school education, was in the process of making a bomb when a fire started in his bedroom.

But of course, there's nothing to this, folks. Just some nutcase screwing around with his chemistry set or something. Right?

Sure, and the same could've been said about Timothy McVeigh.

Don't expect the MSM to take notice. Surely they wouldn't want the people to be aware of the fact that there's all kinds of nutcases out there plotting terrorism. That's right... keep the people blissfully ignorant, never demanding their elected officials fight the problem!

Unhinged German Judge Cites Koran in Ruling

Story here. h/t: NewMediaJournal.us

"There have been quite a few cases in the past where perpetrators have received milder sentencing because they came from a different cultural background, but this verdict truly tops everything I've seen," Schwarzer told ABC News. "It undermines German jurisdiction and is yet another proof of the ongoing Islamisation here in Europe."

What happened?

German divorce court judge Christa Datz-Winter saw fit to reject an application for a speedy divorce by referring to a passage of the Koran.

In a letter to the wife's lawyer, Barbara Becker-Rojczyk, who had applied for such a speedy divorce to be granted to her client Najat L., the judge pointed out that the couple came from a Moroccan cultural background in which is not uncommon for husbands to beat their wives.

The woman wanted a divorce because her husband was beating her.

But the judge chose Dhimmitude over German law. The judge chose Sharia Law, without having any business whatsoever to do so.

Another example of rampant judicial activism. This judge is corrupt.

Fortunately, the judge was removed and the ruling overruled.

But it's a real-world example of the reality of the mental disorder of leftism which affects all kinds of people, including judges. We see the danger of judicial activism and the spread of Islam, not just via the "sword", but via intimidation.

An aside: the article cites unnamed "Muslim leaders" and quotes one as implying that Mohammed never hit a woman, therefore Muslim men don't hit women. But we know that this quotation is yet another example of Taqiyya, Islamic lying. Clearly, Muslims are lying about Islam. The Koran clearly actually prescribes that men beat women for various reasons. Although I'm unaware as to whether Mohammed ever "struck" a woman, that's irrelevant, as the Koran says Muslim men should do so. Besides, Mohammed was a murderous barbarian and probably did hit and kill women as well as others.

Don't be fooled by what "Muslim leaders" claim. They cannot be trusted to tell us "Kaffirs" the truth about Islam, precisely because lying in the interest of Islam is Islamic.

It seems also that we must be wary of the judges. Because of rulings we know to be wrong, it's becoming increasingly clear that judges cannot be trusted any further than they can be thrown. Like politicians.

It's better to be wary of what we see as being a mess rather than ignore reality and delude ourselves into thinking that everything's fine, that Islam is peaceful, tolerant, non-supremacistic, non-imperialist, honesty-based... and that judges are to be trusted unconditionally. For the reality isn't as the left wants us to believe. Many things the left tells us are outright lies. Never forget that.

Russia Returning To Totalitarian Ways

Russian President Vladimir Putin: Closing the Iron Curtain

Story here. h/t: Drudge Report

Iran Lies About Brit Marines

Story here. Now for my take.

Iran claims the British Marines they captured "confessed" to having entered "Iranian waters".

Bullshit.

What did Iran do to them to get them to "confess"? If, indeed, they "confessed". If, indeed, they're still alive at all.

Bull-fecking-shit!

I declare Iran guilty of the Islamic act of Taqiyya, which means lying.

Of course they're lying. They lie all the time.

Iran is lying.

They must release the British Marines immediately.

Oh, wait... they didn't... and they clearly won't.

They're likely going to TORTURE them. And probably murder them.

Therefore, the Free World must bomb Iran into unconditional surrender and total submission.

Period.

Iran asked for it.

The capture of the British Marines in non-Iranian waters is an ACT OF WAR.

That's right: I declare Iran as having deliberately committed an act of war, hoping to either spark an international war or cause the Free World to submit.

Don't submit. Destroy the Iranian regime.

We must not back down in the face of this clear act of Islamic jihad. We must not allow Islam to get its way. Islam must be beaten into submission via the beating of Iran into submission.
It's time to chop off Mohammed's head!

Why We Fight the Islamists

A reminder here.

So why won't the left stop saying, "Stop fighting., Don't fight; talk..."?

We have to fight. War is definitely required for the survival of the Free World. Absolutely. No question. No doubt.

Is that so hard to understand?

Apparently for followers of the brainless, zealous religion of Leftism, it's not something they're even permitted to begin to understand. All that matters is pacifism towards those who are deliberately, out of nothing but hatred and enjoyment, chopping innocent living people into pieces and so on.

Therefore, we must ignore the left, for they're hopelessly ignorant themselves and will lead us to the end of the Free World and the dawn of a new, barbaric, Dark Age on this planet. With Islam as the first and last word in everything.

I'm serious. Deadly serious. Sideline the dangerous followers of the dangerous ideology of Leftistm in order to fight the dangerous followers of the dangerous ideology of Islam.

Hypocritical Al Gore Won't Take Energy Pledge

Story here. Read it all. I merely provide some excerpts giving the gist.

Al Gore, who has a mansion in the posh Belle Meade area of Nashville, has rejected a senator's request that he take a pledge to use no more energy than the average American.

As WND reported earlier, the former vice president's home consumes more electricity each month than the average American household uses in an entire year, according to data compiled by the Tennessee Center for Policy Research from the Nashville Electric Service.

The request was put to Gore by Sen. James Inhofe, R-Okla., who is the ranking member of the Environment and Public Works Committee, during a congressional hearing this week at which Gore was asking Congress to impose new taxes to address global warming.

Inhofe showed Gore a film frame from "An Inconvenient Truth," Gore's award-winning film about the cause of global warming, where it asks viewers: "Are you ready to change the way you live?"

Not Al Gore. He wants us to suffer, to pay.

But he refuses to suffer, to pay.

Screw Al Gore and his alarmism.

I'm going for a drive in my internal combustion, gasoline-engined sports coupe. I'm putting the shifter in "performance" mode and flooring it, burning rubber every damn chance I get. Damn... I should've gotten a late-Sixties, big-block, no-emissions-controls, open-exhaust musclecar! Loooove the smell of pure, unadulterated, incompletely-burned dead dinosaurs! Loooove the sight of the smoke!

Why should I change my life for Al Gore, who refuses to change his?

Big, fat, wealthy, lying leftwing windbag! That's Al Gore!

He says it's a moral, ethical, spiritual issue that affects our survival.

But he personally won't do anything while demanding everyone else suffer.

Maybe because he knows the whole climate change thing is nothing more than a BIG LIE; a SCAM... something that'll make many, including himself, richer and richer...

Plus... more information that contradicts Gore's alarmist, and false, as we can see, claims.

It's bizarre that millions still believe this guy. He's like a cult leader and his believers are brainwashed followers who are expected to empty their pockets for him so he can live in hedonistic, conspicuously-consuming-and-emitting-greenhouse-gases sybarity.

Myself, I don't want to get a new "religion". Al Gore can get off my virtual property and never return with his bullcrap entreaties to convert to that new dogmatic ideology that will soon prove to be the slick, conspiratorial, incredible, international moneymaking scam it actually is.

Next time there's a knock at the door of your intellingence, look out the peephole. If you see that fat man with the greasy hair and fancy tailored suit and the 70-foot stretch Humvee limousine behind him, call the stupidity police! There's a con artist there trying to scam you out of your money!

Iran Crosses The Line, Kidnaps Brit Marines in Iraqi Waters

The Iranians have no business doing this in non-Iranian waters.

My initial reaction is that this is a dangerous, provocative move by Iran.

Of course, they realize that this could very well lead to serious consequences for Iran. It gives the Free World a reason to bomb these warmongering Islamic fascists. As if the Free World needed any more reason. But this gives the Free World a reason the international community will find it hard, if not impossible, to argue against. The international community cannot blame Britain for doing what she has every right to do in response to this act.

Notice I haven't yet declared this to be an "act of war" by Iran.

Not yet; for I just found out that some British Marines were captured in non-Iranian waters by Iranians at gunpoint.

Given further information and observing further developments, the way I see this incident may well either harden significantly or, if it becomes clear that some stupid Iranian military types made an incredibly stupid error for which they'll probably lose their heads, and the British Marines are released immediately unharmed in any way whatsoever, then I might let the issue go.

We'll see.

I'm watching this closely.

If it turns out that the Iranians were following direct, unmistaken orders and refuse to release the soldiers, completely unharmed, without undue delay, then we must remember that it was a similar action taken by representatives of the "Palestinian" regime that precipitated last summer's war between Israel and Hezbollah.

And don't forget, Iran is a real state, unlike "Palestine", and clearly ruled by a specific authority without interference from other Islamic nations. (Hell, Iran herself is known to be interfering in both "Palestine" and Lebanon, as well as in Iraq!)

Therefore, the international community cannot so easily split hairs as they managed to do in last summer's war. (A war that should've been completed by Israel, as she had every right to finish it and ignore yet again another false "ceasefire" scam).

Iran should be very concerned now about her own safety. And justifiably so.

Iran had better release the British Marines immediately, unharmed, with a profuse, unequivocal apology for an unacceptable error and properly punish the perpetrators.

Or else.

What Could Be More Disturbing?

Left: the scary, insane guy from the "Heaven's Gate" cult. Right: the scary, insane woman from the "Democratic Party" cult.

One believed in aliens and flying saucers and led his followers to their deaths. The other believes Islam is a religion of peace, that America is evil, that there's going to be catastrophic climate change and all kinds of bizarre, insane stuff. As to whether the lady's ideology will lead to anyone's death, well, Neville Chamberlain's ideology didn't prevent a single death, as we remember very well.

Disturbing. Very disturbing. Both of them.
