WTF! Al Qaeda-Tied Group Backs McCain!

Story here.

Presumptive Republican presidential nominee John McCain has enjoyed strong support from a lobbyist group that backs the Kosovo Liberation Army despite allegations the KLA is a Muslim terrorist group with ties to criminal drug networks and al-Qaida.

The
Albanian American Civic League, or AACL, regards the KLA as "freedom
fighters," said the AACL's president, former Republican congressman Joe DioGuardi of New York.

But Islam expert Robert Spencer, editor of the popular website Jihad Watch, contends radical Islam is the driving force behind the Kosovo independence movement.

"There is no excusing the excesses of the Serbs under (former President Slobodan) Milosevic, but there is no denying also that jihadists have been pouring into Bosnia and Kosovo, preparing to use them as a base for jihad activity in Europe – and we have been helping them," Spencer told WND.

"There is little doubt that there are powerful elements in Kosovo who are Islamic supremacist and pro-Sharia (Islamic law)," he said. "They will do all they can to turn Kosovo into a jihadist camp in the heart of Europe."

Islamic supremacists, wherever they are, whomever they fight against, cannot be accepted under any circumstances, ever.

Just one more thing for Republicans to keep in mind when voting for a nominee.

You know, I know many American conservatives appear to like McCain as the guy to take on Obama/Clinton, but if it should come out that he's actually radioactive to them, they still have the option of voting for Huckabee in remaining primaries, as he's actually appropriately loathed by the Left and by Islamofascists. Preventing McCain from getting the "magic number" of delegates will mean that they'll go to the Convention where GOPers will decide for once and for all between the two.

While I cannot possibly have a horse in this race, I nevertheless do have the opinion that I'd rather, if I were American, take my chances with Huckabee, who doesn't appear to have ties to the likes of the ultra-far-leftwing George Soros/Theresa Heinz Kerry as does McCain who now apparently has an Islamofascist entity endorsing him (Obama has similar ties). Some may say Huckabee is a little weird or whatever, but, without any apparent ties to dangerous folks, I would reason that he's a safer bet than McCain. Just my humble opinion; hope I don't make any of my American GOP friends mad. I won't be offended should you choose to take this post with a grain of salt.
