Some 'Big' Recession, Eh?

Not.

Not in Harper's Conservative Canada.

And Liberal Leader Michael Ignatieff was DEAD WRONG to irresponsibly fearmonger that our economy was in as dire straits as any other. See, Ignatieff was wrong, and he proved that he doesn't know what he's talking about, unlike Harper, who's actually a trained economist and understood what was going on.

Worse, Ignatieff actually indicated that he was considering demanding a second "stimulus" budget! What kind of imbecile is Michael Ignatieff, anyway?

See, Conservative Prime Minister Stephen Harper was right all along, right from the get-go in the televised election debates, that Canada was well-prepared to weather the global "great depression" thanks to his policies, especially the tax cuts... and we now see that he was right.

I knew all along that the perceived need for billions and billions of dollars in deficit-financed "stimulus" spending was all a big propaganda scam perpetuated by the Left and the Old Media in the name of socialism.

And the Harper Conservatives knew that, too, as they intially indicated that there wouldn't need to be any monster Keynesian government-intervention plan, which isn't doing anything for America, who's haemmorhaging millions of jobs despite all the multibilliondollar corporate bailouts and many other billions being blown all over the place on all kinds of pork (literally; oink, oink). Socialist Obamerica is an economic basket case compared to Conservative Canada.

But what choice did the Conservatives have? They faced an unwanted-by-Canadians overthrow by the Socialist Three Stooges Triangle for not being crazy Obama-copycats.

If the Socialists had overthrown the government in a coup, just imagine what they'd have done to ratchet up the deficit way further and what they'd have done to deepen and prolong the recession, not to mention the devastating social reengineering they'd impose fast and furious with their supermajority in Parliament and their desire to march in lockstep with Herr Fuhrer Obama.

Now that the need for "stimulus" is proven to be a pile of road apples, how about pressuring the government to cancel as much of it that they can? It's our money, after all, and we have every damned right to demand that they reverse course and slash, chop, topple the projected massive deficit IMMEDIATELY. It's far easier to cancel an unnecessary deficit than to spend the whole thing.

Cancel the deficit!

Save the hard work we did on paying down the debt over the years!

(...) If consumers and businesses are already responding positively to economic conditions, including low-interest rates, the economy probably could be allowed to recover on its own without creating future tax burdens that will depress future growth.

The new official version of the state of the economy, whatever is really happening, raises many issues. If growth is quickly returning, either we've had a remarkable turnaround brought on by Big Government, or the economic crisis was never heading for depression in the first place.

I say that we were never heading, domestically, for recession, in the first place. The problem was external, and we caught a bit of the rain and wind on the edges of the storm, but, hey, look, we weathered it well. In fact, in a couple of provinces, formerly basket cases, Saskatchewan and New Brunswick, there was no recession at all and they actually added jobs! Myself, I saw business at work actually boom, and the company continue to expand!

It won't even go down in history as The Great Recession. Based on the Bank of Canada's latest forecast, the 2009 recession trough -- happening right now -- will have dragged Canada's official "output gap" to 4.3% below capacity, and it will have recovered from the trough within about 10 quarters. In 1991, the output gap hit a trough of 3.8%, and stayed down for 14 quarters. Eric Lascelles, chief economics strategist at TD Securities, provided these numbers, and he said he's surprised by how they show that the 2009 recession looks no worse than the 1991 recession. It might even be better than 1991.

It's clearly better than 1991. I recall 1990-1991 very well, having already begun my economic-and-political-awareness education by then and saw the deleterious consequences of the recession back then. This recent one, in my neck of the woods, didn't have any noticeable impact at all, save for many Old-Media-inspired irrational fears of the worst.

Like the saying goes...

WE'RE BETTER OFF WITH HARPER!

As for the hopelessly clueless Liberal "Leader" Michael Ignatieff, seen below in Toronto having a gay old time and celebrating his socialist idol, Trudeau, I guess it's back to Harvard... Maybe Obama will appoint the famous descendant of Russian royalty as Czar of something...

Too bad for Iggy he didn't get lucky. Or did he? With plenty of other "gay"-looking fellows walking around with him, you don't suppose he did? At least he looks happy amongst those lovely folks, doesn't he?

Canadian Economy Doing Very Nicely, Actually

Recession... what recession?

Why do so many folks seem to think there's any serious economic problems overall in Canada?

TORONTO (Reuters) - The Canadian dollar rocketed to its highest level in just over a week versus the U.S. dollar on Friday in one swift move as data showed the domestic economy created five times more jobs than expected in February.

Surprise, surprise! How incovenient for the Liberals! No wonder they have to try to manufacture a new "scandal" every day to give themselves some crap to throw at the government.

Triggering the rise in the Canadian dollar was a report from Statistics Canada that showed the economy added 43,300 jobs last month, blowing past market orecasts for a gain of 8,000 amid signs of softer growth.

The dire, negative predictions of the doubting thomases have once again been proven false. What, do the MSM and progressive commentators actually want there to be a recession? Why the hell do they keep talking the economy down? I thought it was politically incorrect to talk the economy down as opposed to being cautiously optimistic. Why does it seem to be a foregone conclusion that if the US has some economic speedbumps facing it, Canada will necessarily follow as a matter of course? I mean, the Conservatives have already taken strong measures to stimulate our economy via the greatest, broad-based tax cuts and reforms in Canadian history, with some already implemented and others legislated to begin later? This can only have a positive stimulatory effect from now on, and what better way to help Canada weather a possible US/world economic slowdown?

As for January, how many people received the also-great news for that month? Did y'all see my post last month on just how well we're doing under the Conservatives? Here you go: What Recession? Conservatives Created 46,000 Jobs in January

Canada is united and strong overall and getting stronger.

Conservatism works. We must continue down the right path.

Barack Lies Again, Giving Us Big Whoppers, Baloney

Pamela Anderson and her "whoppers". Like Barack's incredible, unbelievable, outlandish, outrageous, nonsensical, audacious claims, they're bigger than life, and we know they're not for real. Pretty much like Barack himself, a bigger-than-life, fake-as-a-$3-bill-with-his-face-on-it, boob.

Get a load of his latest whoppers!

Lie: "I work for the American people."

Fact: He works for the Hard Left.

Lie: he vowed to be treat Americans' tax dollars "as responsibly as they treat their own hard-earned paycheques."

Fact: What does he take Americans for, fools? There's nothing responsible about spending trillions of dollars that doesn't exist, nor anything responsible about what he's spending it on! He's bankrupting future generations. He's bankrupting America. No good will come of his socialistic extremism. No good. You'll see. Soon enough.

Lie: "I know these steps won't sit well with the special interests and lobbyists who are invested in the old way of doing business, and I know they're gearing up for a fight as we speak," he said. "My message to them is this: So am I."

Fact: He is NOT fighting ALL "special interests". He's fighting all that's normal and that works whilst bending over and dropping trou for the Hard Left and our foreign enemies. He's doing what the abortionists, what the sexual extremists, what the Islamofascists and what the neo-Communist internationalists want him to do!

Hey, Barry-O! Baloney's for eating, not spewing out of your oratorial orifice towards Americans! Americans deserve better than that phoney baloney you're giving them!

Lie: "This budget also reflects the stark reality of what we've inherited - a trillion dollar deficit, a financial crisis, and a costly recession," Obama said. "Given this reality, we'll have to be more vigilant than ever in eliminating the programs we don't need in order to make room for the investments we do need."

Fact: He's going to eliminate what we need and what we know that works and impose what we don't need, don't want and that which we know doesn't work (socialism).

Lie: "I didn't come here to do the same thing we've been doing or to take small steps forward, I came to provide the sweeping change that this country demanded when it went to the polls in November."

Fact: If he didn't come to Washington to do the same old thing, then why has he recycled the Clinton-era minions as his own? While I don't dis his indication of making sweeping changes, for he certainly is, I certainly dis his allegation that Americans voted for what he's doing, for we know full well that those who voted for him generally had no idea what they were voting for- in a Zogby poll, they said so!

Survey finds most Obama voters remembered negative coverage of McCain/Palin statements but struggled to correctly answer questions about coverage associated with Obama/Biden

(...)

"After I interviewed Obama voters on Election Day for my documentary, I had a pretty low opinion of what most of them had picked up from the media coverage of the campaign, but this poll really proves beyond any doubt the stunning level of malpractice on the part of the media in not educating the Obama portion of the voting populace," said Ziegler.
Again, we see the inconvenient truth that the Big Media didn't tell the People the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth about Barack Hussein Obama. The Big Media conspired to aid and abet Obama in misrepresenting himself, dazzling, mesmerizing, manipulating and directing the perceptions of the People, goading them, as the mice by the Pied Piper, into believing he was a great leader with great ideas, thus programming them to cast their vote for him... just because it was drilled into their consciousness that it was a good idea, and, being average and barely-thinking-for-themselves, it was pretty much a slam dunk for the real-life Manchurian Candidate. The People largely fell for the whoppers and baloney.

See and hear some of those who voted for Obama, below!

You know, the German People had no idea either what they were voting for when they elected Hitler, either. Hitler didn't give them specifics, said nothing about any plan to attempt to wipe out millions of people deemed inconvenient, nothing about starting World War II. But that's what they voted for, unfortunately. Not that it justifies their going along with what they didn't know they were getting, not at all.

Oh, why do I bring up this Hitler parallel? Unfair? If so, well, then Obama's own people were unfair for doing it to Bush, as well as incorrect by a monstrous margin.

So... what Hitlerian thing did Obama do the other day, again largely covered up by the Big Media?

ht: Maz2 in the comments

The headline was leaked late in the Friday afternoon news cycle so that as few people as possible would pay attention, but here's the crux of a very real problem: President Obama is moving policy on public health into the direction of doctors being forced to act against their conscience. (For liberals educated in public schools, a conscience is that little voice inside you that used to inform you as to what was right or wrong.)

President Obama wants them performing abortions, whether they believe it to be an immoral thing or not. And while the comparisons to Hitler are made either on eugenist or racist grounds--but you cannot escape the impact.

Speaking of Hitler and abortion and forcing people to do immoral things against their will, did you know that the founder of "Planned Parenthood", the obscenely, immorally profitable baby-slaughtering big business, Margaret Sanger, was a Nazi Party member? That she was a racist? A believer in eugenics, just like the Nazis? (Not to mention that most of the "Planned Parenthood" killing clinics are currently located in minority-dominated neighborhoods)...

In the 1930's and 40's as Hitler wished to use his captive “lesser-humans” for "experiments" in his final solution. He too forced doctors to do things they did not wish to do. Everything from injecting living humans with horrible chemicals to see the effect, to trying differing grades of poisonous gases in what eventually became death chambers. These doctors, who were purveyors of those things that helped save lives, were suddenly forced to use the medical knowledge they had of death--to end them.

In today’s scenario Obama wants doctors to exterminate “lesser humans” for the purpose of immediate solutions to his social experiment. And he wishes them to do so regardless of whether or not they are compelled by the higher call of morality on an individual basis.

Put another way Obama's policy shift would be the equivalent of forcing those who believed slavery to be immoral and never even owned slaves, to begin purchasing them, beating them, raping them, and exploiting them.

Inconvenient truth about Barack Hussein Obama. I did warn, many, many times about making this man the President of the United States, because he has a hidden, frightening agenda, as did a certain infamous national leader from the last century whose head became so large from the absolute adulation and syncophancy of millions... so large that he couldn't bear to deal once the inconvenient truth caught up with him.

Reality Hits As Obama Does Nothing, Really, On Economy

Remember this, O mesmerized, guillible, wanna-hope-rather-than-think Obamites?

Surprise, dupes! Obama...

... can't! -A good piece by Terrence Corcoran of the National Post helps us see cold, hard reality as it replaces the grand delusion instilled by Obama into those who believed he was some kind of miracle worker who knows how to do stuff and who had a clear idea of exactly what to do right from day one, even though he never explained what he would, in fact, do. (and I warned in this blog about that, didn't I?) The fact that he just went around uttering short slogans like "yes we can" and "change" and "hope" without putting any meat on those bones should've clued-in those who voted Obama in America and those elsewhere who bought the Big Myth.

If Obama knew what to do, then he'd already have it all ready to implement the very moment he officially acquires the power to do so. But... he has nothing! He LIED! He never knew what to do... or did he? If he does have an agenda, why isn't he telling us what it is? Is he going to implement it by stealth? Hugo Chavez-style socialism by stealth?

Over to Mr. Corcoran:

During CNN’s broadcast of Barack Obama’s first press conference on Friday, a corner of the screen flickered with a live feed of the Dow Jones Industrial Average. As Obama spoke, the Dow average lost more than 100 points. In his brief statement and question session, the president elect of the United States said next to nothing about anything. There were no signs of the Yes We Can positivism of the campaign in his low-key, even halting manner. What little he did say may well signal the beginning of a new phase in Obamamania: No we can’t.

The first sign that Obama had nothing, actually... came as he spoke- the stock markets suddenly plummeted and appear to be continuing to do so, as those who understand the economy, professional stock market folks, realized that this guy, Obama, wasn't really going to do anything, despite talking about doing something and pretending to be, but not actually doing anything of substance. I'm sure we all noticed the stock market plunge and realized it was tied directly to President-Elect Obama. Well, can't say I didn't see this coming, as stock market pros can actually be more rational than those ordinary citizens who can afford to delude themselves into believing everything and anything is possible, and hoping, without understanding anything, without their Messiah explaining what's what and what he's gonna do... While ordinary citizens might buy Obama's gobbleddygook that something's being done, there are those who know it's not the case, and that's why they moved to dump assets, hence the stock market's decline, its becoming progressively more flaccid, as Obama spoke, sort of like what happens to Billy when he, after schmoozing with his buxom young groupies, suddenly sees a glowering Hillary.

The first realization is that it will be almost three months before Obama becomes president. Three months is a long time in economics, and it will seem like an eternity to the millions of miracle-seekers who are expecting Obama to part the waters. Economic policy between now and January 20 and for months after that, is essentially beyond Obama’s control. George W. Bush may be a lame-duck president, but Barack Obama has even less influence over the immediate course of policy. On Friday Obama said economic stimulus will be “the first thing I get done.” But can you possibly bring in a spending and stimulus tax plan any time before the middle of next year that will have an impact anytime before next June or even later? No we can’t.

Recession Over, Harper, Conservatives Vindicated, Liberals At Loss

Story here.

While the Conservatives appeared to be on the brink of defeat throughout the winter and spring, Carney's predictions seem to have given Stephen Harper's minority government a much-needed boost.

Indeed, much of the Liberals' momentum in the final weeks of the spring session stemmed from their ability to pin the economic downturn on Tory mismanagement.

(...)

"They can argue, 'Look, the whole world is in recession ... we're one of the first countries that's having growth,'"

Indeed. All the Ignatieff/Liberal accusations of "bad economic management" on the part of the Conservatives has now been proven to be pure bullshit, pure propaganda.

It's clear that the strong economic management of the Conservatives ensured that, in a horrific worldwide recession, Canada's own recession was actually mild and short-lived.

And Conservative Prime Minister Stephen Harper is personally vindicated as well.

Recall that in the election debates last year, PM Harper said that we were well-positioned to weather the recession and that we really didn't need to do very much about it, since we've already done the right stuff, like cut taxes.

The Leftist Opposition gave him hell for that and threatened to get together and usurp him without an election if he didn't copy Obama's policy of spending like a drunken sailor.

Yep, Stephen Harper was right all along. He is 100% vindicated.

He, an economist by training, was one of the very few people in Canada who understood the Canadian economy, and had the balls to tell it like it was, at great political risk.

See, Stephen Harper understands what's what, and says what's what. This is leadership. He has proved himself.

Stephen Harper and the Conservatives have proven themselves as deserving a majority government in the next election, whenever it comes.

As for Liberal Leader Michael Ignatieff, well, what a fool he's made of himself, screaming that the economic sky was falling and that draconian measures needed to be taken...

See? We're better off with Harper!

Iggy Issues New Big Bluff For MORE Billions In Deficit Spending

Photobucket

I hope Ignatieff keeps on making those faces. Without them, I'd have a harder time finding ways to illustrate his mental condition...

Story here.

ht: National Newswatch

So, hot on the heels of his total backdown on his most recent "I'll force an election" bluff just yesterday, Liberal Leader-Perpetually-Unelected Michael Ignatieff is threatening to force an election if the government doesn't bring in yet another "stimulus" deficit spending program on top of the huge one they just brought in!

Iggy clearly wants to copy the totally out-of-control, completely inept Barack Hussein Obama in terms of spending as much money as possible to mortgage Canada's future as much as possible. What, is he trying to destroy Canada via bankruptcy just like his hero Obama?

Iggy claims that the danger is as bad as it could be and even claims he knows that it's likely to be something even worse than a recession.

(Of course, we could very well face something worse than a recession or even a friggin' depression. That's what I've been trying to say ever since I started blogging. For example, we could face an even bigger 9/11. We could face a whole new World War, with nukes this time! So on that point, I'll have to agree with the Professor, but disagree with his ideas of how to spend it, which are too vague, and would instead say we better put those billions into our Armed Forces instead, which would, of bloody course, be as stimulatory as anything else ever could be!)

However, didn't Iggy hear what his like-a-little-girl-gigglingly-beloved crush, the alleged stud-adonis,
Barack, seen here, tap-dancing, with his appropriately, incredibly swelled head, said just a little while ago?

Photobucket

Barack said that, actually, the economy has already showed signs of turnaround! If one can believe that (I don't, for I know when I'm being sold prettified, talked-up worthless crap), which I'm sure Iggy must, as he worships Obama, as does his incredibly-still-there attack clown Warren Kinsella, then one can believe that no further stimulus is needed for turnaround. Of course, such a belief requires that one be one of those weak-brained "Progressive" Liberal Leftists.

I note that Iggy is trying to sound smart, sound like he knows something. But I'd suggest that he actually closely study what the budget actually sets forth as specific spending plans.

I also note the richness of his suggestion of increasing post-secondary (university) funding, also remembering that he's a professor who probably wants to grease the palms of his cronies in the ivory towers and so on and so forth, plus increase the ability of those Leftist-dominated, intolerant of free thought, intolerant of free speech brainwashing factories to turn out more socialist zombies like himself and Obama. It's a rich suggestion because the Liberals, while last in power, didn't really do a bloody thing for the post-secondary institutions, merely making it easier for students to pay their way, without directly injecting funding into the institutions themselves. Now that someone else is in control of the spending levers, and there's a recession and a deficit, the Liberals have suddenly found religion on the post-secondary file. Too easy to call for, and too late, to believe in any sincerity on their part.

We don't need more university courses, I can confidently say. What we need to see is for universities to slash their fluff-courses and focus on the hard, non-dogmatic stuff like the sciences and technology, for it's these that will actually make the difference in the economy, not the "liberal arts" programs that just brainwash students with Far-Left lies and historical revisionism, not to mention programming illogical, discriminatory, equality-killing political-correctness fascism into young minds. Been there, resisted that, myself. Lucky to survive without turning into a zombie like Obama and Iggy. So any new money shall only go to hard-fact courses and needed infrastructure improvement, while cutting the crap, shrinking the number of courses required for a degree and shortening the length of time it takes to acquire one. It's too big, fat and inefficient with all the "liberal arts" crap, which even hard-science students are forced to suffer through and pay so dearly for!

I'd suggest that Iggy just quit being an idiot and quit making extravagant demands so quickly, and quit bluffing about forcing an election in the middle of a recession, an election we all know his party can't afford to fight, an election that could very well bankrupt the party, an election in which they oughtn't believe, from current favorable polls, that they could do any better this time around. Besides, just a bunch of weeks ago, the polls had the Conservatives at over 50% popularity, so I'd take the polls with a grain of salt no matter what they say. Plus the Conservatives, as well as the Big Liberal-Positive Media, have been giving Iggy a free ride, so it's no surprise the voters are confused into thinking Iggy's a good leader for some reason they cannot finger. Expect some Conservative inconvenient-truth-about-Iggy ads to come out before too long to totally eclipse the pathetic, pitiful YouTube Liberal anti-Tory videos and the newly-unleashed hardcore-porn website... oh, wait, actually, they named the "On Probation" site without doing their homework... didn't they think that it might be almost the same as, say, a hardcore porno site or even a, say, racist, hate-mongering site? See, these guys are suddenly amateurs who haven't a clue as to what they're doing! And they tell us they could be the government? Well, Americans bought the Big Lie that Obama and the Democrats would be at least competent, but compared to Bush, they're actually the worst administration in American history, and even make Mr. Bean look like a successful political genius...

Iggy, poor, poor, pitiful Iggy... Poor, poor, pitiful, corrupt, inept, amateur Liberal Party...

Heh. They dug their own grave while last in power. Can't seem to get that one foot unstuck from inside it...

Brave Actress Comes Out & Disagrees With Obama

Angie Harmon disses Obama.

Another celebrity comes out of the closet to say they don't like what Obama's doing.

And, no surprise at all, cue the violins, yep, the "Progressive" Liberal Left called her a "racist" for disagreeing with Obama's actions.

Funny- the Left disagreed with Bush, so I guess that makes the Left racist!

"Here's my problem with this, I'm just going to come out and say it. If I have anything to say against Obama it's not because I'm a racist, it's because I don't like what he's doing as President and anybody should be able to feel that way, but what I find now is that if you say anything against him you're called a racist," Harmon told Tarts at Thursday’s Los Angeles launch of the new eyelash-growing formula, Latisse. "But it has nothing to do with it, I don’t care what color he is. I’m just not crazy about what he's doing and I heard all about this, and he’s gonna do that and change and change, so okay … I'm still dressing for a recession over here buddy and we've got unemployment at an all-time high and that was his number one thing and that's the thing I really don't appreciate. If I'm going to disagree with my President, that doesn't make me a racist. If I was to disagree with W, that doesn't make me racist. It has nothing to do with it, it is ridiculous."

Exactly. It's horseshit, what the Obamites say, that anyone who doesn't worship the fecking ground Obama walks upon, then they're "racist". Horseshit, totally. Millions can't stand Obama's behavior and policies because his behavior and policies are pure horseshit! Nobody cares what color his skin is! Only assholes call people "racist" for saying they don't like what he's doing!

I don't call Leftist trolls "racist" for dissing me in the comments. I call them "stupid" and similar stuff, because they usually are, unless they're professional propagandists... But maybe I'll start calling them "racist" just 'cause they disagree with me... Apparently, as far as Leftists are concerned, the simple act of disagreement is "racist", unless, of course, it's a Leftist disagreeing with a conservative regardless of color... I'll just throw the crap back at those Leftist simian dummies when they throw it at me... tit for tat...

"I do think McCain would have done a better job, only because I think he has more experience. I also think if W or John McCain or Reagan would have gone and done a talk show, the backlash would have been so huge and in his face, and ‘What is our president doing? How unclassy!’ But Obama does it and no one says anything," Harmon said.

She also likes Sarah Palin.

"I admire any kind of woman like her. My whole motto is to know what I stand for and know what I don't stand for and have the courage to live my life accordingly and she does exactly that. The fact that this woman has made the decisions she's made and literally lived her life according to that and takes heat for it is absolutely disgusting to me," she added. "People cannot look at this woman. I really think they're afraid of her and her morals, ethics and values and the fact that she hangs on them. Is she the most experienced person in the world? But she was running to be the Vice President, so we then put the most inexperienced person as the President. That didn't make any sense to me."

Well, a majority of American voters, unfortunately, chose the most inexperienced person as President. Barack Hussein Obama. He's clearly in over his head and fecking stuff up faster than Mr. Bean ever could!

I think I'm in love... Now, there's a woman with a mind of her own! I just love 'em! Oh, as long as they're conservative, that is...

Inconvenient Truth For Ignatieff Liberals

The inconvenient truth in question is that the Harper Conservative government has been doing an admirable job, not a bad job, of managing the nation's finances, certainly at least in contrast to what the Ignatieff Liberals and the awfully pro-Liberal Big Media have been accusing.

For the month of February, the Department of Finance said it recorded a surplus of $823 million, down from the $3 billion posted in the year-ago period -- but much better than the $37-million surplus in January.

Of course, this doesn't mean all things fiscal and econimic are rosy. Not at all, obviously.

We can expect a significant deficit over the coming months, of course, owing to the recession, caused by the Left-Wing Extremists (first brought forth under Clinton, then allowed to continue under Bush, who didn't defuse the ticking financial-economic time bomb) in the United States, with their misguided, stupid, communistic policies regarding forcing financial institutions to lend money to people who couldn't afford to repay it.

And then there's the "stimulus" deficit spending that the Canadian Left-Wing Extremists (the Liberals, NDP, Bloc Quebecois) demanded, or else they'd overthrow the government in a coup against the wishes of Canadians. If I was Prime Minister, I'd have stood my ground against the "Coalition" of Left-Wing Extremists and ridden a tidal wave of popularity of anti-coup sentiment, wherever it ended up. Yes, I'd have played chicken with those socialist bastards. If they backed down, I'd then deal with the economic problems in a sane, safe-over-the-long-run way, stimulating without going too far and panicking, like the Obama Dems in the U.S. with their multi-trilliondollar, largely-permanent deficit spending spree on mostly pork and global socialism that threatens (or, as I actually believe probable, is deliberately designed) to break America. If the socialist bastards had actually usurped my government, then they would be in serious trouble with the Canadian People who made it extremely, loudly clear to them they didn't want them to do that, and, in the next election, I would ride an unprecedented wave of popularity to a strong majority victory. Yep, that's what I'd have done.

You know, the recession is not the Harper Conservatives' fault. Nor is the imminent deficit. It's stupid to blame them, for it's beyond their control. But still, there's plenty of wasteful spending yet to be slashed, and slash it we must.

Ignatieff says we'll have to raise taxes once the recession is over. Bullshit. When the recession is over, then we turn off the temporary deficit "stimulus" spending, of course. That, plus rising revenues due to economic recovery, plus cutting wasteful spending by billions, will take care of the deficit. There will be no need to raise taxes. Stupid Ignatieff. What, is Mo Strong puppeteering him, as George Soros puppeteers Obama? (Of course, Strong and Soros are themselves willing, greedy puppets of foreign, evil neo-Communist totalitarian regimes, who are pretty much richly compensating them to be traitors to their own countries and to destroy the Western World in favor of international socialism (dictatorship by the few, with limited, if any, rights and limited, if any, democracy for the many), obviously, at least in my own view, anyway, for which I'll naturally be derided, but, hey, you know, Winston Churchill was derided, too, when he warned about the hidden-in-plain-sight Nazi agenda, though not for too long, as we well know!).

The Liberals only want to raise taxes because they want to grow the size of the Nanny State; they want to follow in Obama's international-socialistic footsteps and so on and so forth. We don't want any of that crap, none of the national gestapo, none of the censorship, none of the unconstitutionally-coercive fascism, none of the appeasement of our mortal enemies, none of the turning-of-our-backs-on-our-friend-Israel, none of the bowing in submission to evil slavemaster kings, none of the insulting Special Olympians, none of the persecution of political dissenters, none of the so on and so forth that's happening in Obamerica now, which the Liberals want to impose on Canada and must NOT be allowed to, meaning we must NOT vote for those crooked, corrupt, international-socialist bastards!

As for the Big, Liberal-Protecting, Conservative-Bashing Media, well, what can I say? They're hard at work trying to screw with the "news"-consumers' heads to create the perception that Harper and the Conservatives are somehow bad, inept, lame-duck, about to split up and all that bullcrap... haven't you noticed all the negative-sounding stories they've been pushing out of their hineys so fast and furious as if there's no tomorrow? Simultaneously, they do stories that attempt to screw with "news"-consumers' minds to forge the illusion of greatness and approval for Ignatieff and the Liberals. All this stuff the Big Media's spewing, it's all crap! And it's working, as now the Liberals are tied with the Conservatives in the polls, proving that the psychological/perceptual manipulation and misinformation campaign is working. Goebbels would approve.

Just like in the U.S. with the Big Media's incessant slobbering over Obama no matter how badly he fecks up every damn day, plus their demonization of, not just the GOP, but also of the American People, with one shameful example in the
CNN's barely-closeted, flamingly-homosexual Anderson Cooper, a biased Left-Wing Extremist, very obviously, accusing them all, with his unprofessionally, unacceptably foul pottymouth, of a really silly, bizarre "sex" act most commonly practiced by guys like him. And who could forget that stubbornly-biased CNN chick who dismissed the million-strong protestors as just a bunch of Republican activists or whatever and actually made them mad at her right where and when she said it? Well, the CNN wants us to forget that that happened. Anyway, the Big Media's reaction, both in the U.S. and in Canada, to the big-news Tea Parties across America to protest Obama's Regime, well, it proved for once and for all, beyond any reasonable doubt, that the Old Big Media is extremely biased and cannot be trusted!

Ignatieff's Culture War Now On Full Afterburn

Liberal Party "Leader", the infamously-scary Michael Ignatieff:
Fomenting cultural warfare with sucker punches of dubious effectiveness

Again we see the Toronto (Red) Star dutifully helping the Prog leader propagate his Big Lies...

Blah, blah, blah...  Does this guy even know what he's saying?  What, is he just brainlessly uttering received talking points given to him to memorize for his Librano-love-in fundraising speech?  Like, rally the monied partisan rabble with whatever words of demonization may work...

He says that the Conservatives accuse the Liberals of fomenting cultural warfare for potential electoral advantage, and claims that that means that the Conservatives are "trying to divide and conquer".

Eh?  That's illogical.  Firstly, of course the Tories rightly point out the undeniable.  After all, Liberal-partisan pollster Frank Graves did advise the Liberals to do just that, not that it's a new thing for Liberals, who relish the very thought of cultural warfare, division and conquest.  Anyone who closely watched the Canadian political warfare scene during the tyrannical Chretien-Martin epoch knows this very, very well, and sees the Liberals trying to "go there" again, hoping in vain that Canadians haven't tired of the same old nonsense, the same old "scary, racist, sexist, anti-gay, anti-choice, mean-spirited, knuckledragger, redneck, people-with-guns-in-the-streets, hidden agenda..." gobbleddygook of which the Liberals were always accusing the Conservatives, none of which smears ever proved true.

The dark old Chretien days of this sort of thing are back, with the Liberal Party again following orders from the bottomless depths of red-hot darkness

One would've thought that with the exit of Warren "Prince of Darkness" Kinsella from the Liberal War Room, things would be better.  Well, apparently, one thought wrong.  They're as nasty as ever.  Apparently, beneath the mild-mannered veneer, Ignatieff Chief of Staff Peter Donolo is as evil and nasty and mean-spirited as Warren "Shit from Hell" Kinsella's ever been.  No doubt Peter's coming up with ideas of what stuffed animals to pull from gym bags on live TV to spread hatred and contempt against religious identifiable groups for potential electoral gain...

Top Librano$$$ of dark days bygone:
Warren Kinsella, Teflon-Don Jean Chretien and Peter Donolo

OF COURSE the Tories rightly say the plainly obvious about the Liberals fomenting cultural warfare.  Because the Liberals, from previous experience, know that it works, and are hoping that it still will.  Besides, their Holy Messiah Obama to the south is doing it, so they figure they better brainlessly emulate him to flatter and please him.  Which is why we can't afford to have the Liberals in power... just imagine them doing to Canada what the Obamacrats are doing to America... scary, ain't it?

 When darkness ruled:
The Cretch and Donolo cackling as they oppress and tyrannize the country

The Liberals think Canadians are going to fall for it all again.  Like before.  Well, they may be in for a surprise now.

Ignatieff utters many big, pompously professorly words, as if believing they'll impress Mainstream Canadiana, who've heard enough drivel and want plain talk for a change.  Who even knows what "provincialism" means?   And what exactly is Iggy talking about when he blabs the phrase "lowness of spirit"?  As if Liberals were all that spiritual themselves, as opposed to power-hungry, materialistic and greedy?  Yeah, right... look who's talking about low-spiritedness.

Iggy bizarrely claims that his more-than-three-decades-long absence from Canada somehow "makes him more Canadian" than those of us who never left for more than a few days at a time, or not at all.  How stupid and illogical can one get?  Apparently that stupid and illogical!  Of course, maybe Iggy's just saying what he's been told to say, and doesn't care to even think about it before he says it.  Much like his hero Obama, though Obama obviously requires more extensive use of teleprompters, because, apparently, he has little capacity for memorization, or, perhaps he's just too lazy to memorize (that'd involve mental effort, and we know that "progressives" hate to "go there").

Of course, then there's the mention of balanced budgets and debt repayments.  Well, when the Liberals were doing that, there was a massive international economic boom going on, and they cheated by keeping taxes high and by gutting health care, education, the military, security-intelligence, etc., etc., while enriching themselves and their cronies and electoral prospects with boondoggles, pork-barreling, mysterious, invisible foundations, and, of course, ADSCAMS... to the tune of uncountable tens of billions of dollars...  They never had to deal with what's been the worst global recession since the Great Depression, in the words of some talking heads.  Besides, they wanted the "stimulus" spending and got it, thanks to their threat to usurp the government with a Hard-Left, neo-Communist coalition with the insanely-leftist NDP and the traitorous Bloc.  So who the hell is Ignatieff to boast of the dumb-luck-and-cheating-founded successes of the Liberals, which, anyway, occured whilst Iggy was busy being as American as he could be and going around promoting what "progressives" call torture?

If this is how the Liberals and Michael Ignatieff and their propaganda wing the Big Media want to fight the war, then bring it on.

Cavalierly, delusionally oblivious to the new reality of the world:
Michael Ignatieff and snack.  And thumb.  Where to put that?

Things are different today from how they were when the Librano$$$ ruled with their velvet-gloved brass knuckles...

No longer do they control the minds of Canadians anywhere to the extent that they once did.  We see this reality in America as we speak, with the Democratic Party/Big Old Media Propaganda Machine failing to control the minds of Americans.  The Liberals are fools to carry on as before.  They're living in the past.  That will ensure their continuing undoing.

Soros Delusional, Claims US 'Not In Recession Under Obama'

Picture him in an SS officer's uniform, and that face won't look out of place!

One must wonder whether senility, or just the continuance of his pure evil, has set in for the billionaire ex-Nazi collaborator and de-facto Leader of the Hard Left.

Soros admitted he wanted the banks to be national-socialized, but is pissed that Obama didn't do what he wanted, insanely calling Obama's disobedience of his puppetmaster "un-American".  Guess Old Georgie won't be "cashing in" on national socialism as far as the banks are concerned.  Oh, well, he must figure, too bad.  At least he's still filthy rich and influential and can find other stuff to profiteer on, to hell with the consequences for others (reminiscent of his days working as a Nazi collaborator).

Guess that means that Soros's influence and power only go so far, then.  Oh, yes, he's got plenty, owing to his ability to use his vast fortune to influence all kinds of things via propaganda and intimidation, but, unluckily for him, there's nothing he can do to directly force Obama's hand...

...unless Soros is bullshitting us again, just to make us think that he doesn't control the POTUS?
“He is paying a very heavy price for actually saving the country from going into a very deep recession or a depression, because people don’t — haven’t experienced it,” Soros said.

Huh?  Is he loony tunes?  No recession?  Nobody experienced it?  What a Hard-Leftwingnutcase!  Of course, he didn't experience it, Mr. Moneybags, so how would he know what Mainstream Americana has been experiencing?  Talk about being out of touch!

Soros also approves of Obama's new dictatorial attitude towards imposing Obamacare, which only a fringe element of Americana wants (about 25%).  Soros approves of this undemocratic imposition.  Big surprise.  Not.  For someone who approved of, plus, unrepentantly-to-this-very-day aided and abetted, the Nazis...

Funny how Obama never, ever said anything critical of Soros, isn't it?  What, is he unable to dare to do so, like he dares to do so to "the other guys"?  Oh, well, it's clear that Soros is on Obama's side, and Obama, Soros.  The connection to this scary, lunatic extremist and former Nazi collaborator Soros, on the part of Obama... is undeniable, and Obama doesn't even try to deny it...

One.  Big.  Ass.  Mistake.  America.

I warned against voting for the Communist Man-Child...  Too bad the bedazzled-by-the-bullshit voters didn't check him out more carefully themselves before die Katze im Sack kaufen, as Soros's former bosses/mentors would put it...

Perhaps Mr. Soros thought he was getting a pig and has discovered he got a cat instead, too...  If so, then...  and then...  Oh, yeah, Old Georgie Peorgie Pig In Da Pokie... your time will come to burn... somewhere waaaaay down below.  At least you'll finally get to meet your Fuehrer!

...and George Soros called Bush all sorts of nasty stuff?!  Well, like, look who's talking, eh!  Typical psychiatric projection by a "progressive", eh!

Talk Show Hosts Hold Private Summit Re. Govt Control Threat

The left-wing extremist Obama Regime and local governments are seeking to put conservative talk show hosts under the iron thumb of far-left state apparatus control and censorship.

They really, despite the bureaucratese nonsense they spew to sugarcoat the scary truth, want to blunt and render ineffective the messaging of their political and ideological opponents who broadcast messages of inconvenient-to-the-Regime opinion and opposition to the left-wing regimes' agendas.

Really, do you think their intention is to be fair and balanced here? It isn't. Because leftists use laws, not to be fair and balanced, but rather to restrict the rights and liberties of their political and ideological opposition. In the Free World, yes.

Astute observers and analysts will have no doubt that that's what the left-wing extremist Obama Regime's agenda really is. And the agenda of the many far-left municipal governments run by their federal comrade's fellow travellers.

Should the so-called "Fairness Doctrine" be imposed against the First Amendment rights of America's communicators, the real problem is that it will NOT be "fair". This is because it won't be enforced against media who toe the Obama-Democrat-Soros party line as they're expected to. Rather, it will be enforced against political-ideological dissidents.

Believe it or not, they can and will, if the People let them. They do stuff like this all the time, act unfairly against all kinds of dissidents, not just against dissident broadcasters.

And why wouldn't they? They know already that they can get away with such unfairness and lack of balance and violation of the equality rights of dissidents. Therefore they will do this. If the People let them.

Understanding this, the nation's dissident communicators have held an emergency summit about the threat.

A daylong discussion today focused on what was described as the "imminent threat" of so-called "localism" requirements that will subject radio programming to the review by panels of community activists who will evaluate station content. These panels will be empowered to make recommendations for programming changes and challenge at the Federal Communications Commission the licenses renewals of stations that don't heed their advice.

"Community activists". You know that means left-wing extremists (masquerading as "responsible" "moderates" who claim to only want to enforce "fairness", "diversity" and "tolerance") whose true agenda is to strictly restrict and intimidate dissident communicators who dare to say things inconvenient to the extreme-left's agenda, regardless of whether it's plain factual reporting or opinion thereabout. The "community activists" will naturally, as always, be subjective and unfair, for that's the essence of left-wing extremists who want to impose upon others and will not tolerate dissent. You know, these "community activists", they ought to be called "Brownshirts", for that's what they are, just like the Nazi Sturmabteilungen, who used to go around intimidating political and ideological opponents to help Hitler unfairly and illegitimately (like Obama, incidentally) become Chancellor, notwithstanding the election that put him there, with brainwashed voters voting as they'd been manipulated via propaganda into voting, motivated by misinformation and lies (again like Obama).

Last month, Sen. Dick Durbin, D-Ill., submitted an amendment to the D.C. Voting Bill which would require the FCC to "encourage and promote diversity in ... media ownership" and reaffirm FCC authority to mandate the presentation "of opposing points of view on issues of public importance."

My... such fancypantsy, gobbleddygooky, ambiguous, imprecise, ominous language. What a masterful way of hiding the real agenda, behind a charade of doing things that sound good, reasonable, fair, balanced and just. Really, the Bill would NOT "promote diversity", but would rather be a weapon for the Obama-Soros-controlled FCC to "mandate the presentation of opposing points of view on issues of public importance". In other words, the true intent is to intimidate dissident communicators into toeing the party line. Don't be fooled by the lies about nice-sounding agendas, because that's what it really is, lies. The truth is hidden behind dishonest, manipulative words. Remember, today's totalitarian China isn't the "Peoples' Republic". It's actually what ought to be dubbed the Communist Party's Imperialist Republic. Same thing with "Fairness Doctrine"... it's a clever, nice-sounding Big Lie.

Also of concern to the hosts and producers gathered in the nation's capital was a decision last week by Clear Channel, the nation's largest owner of radio stations, to mandate the creation of local advisory boards by June at all of its properties. The move was seen as pre-emptive as the industry anticipates an FCC stacked with Barack Obama appointees will soon require stations to answer to panels of community activists.

Uh-oh... the owners already have fallen victim to the intimidation they're feeling coming from the Regime. The control has already begun. I wonder what the Regime did, unknown to us, to make this so. Brownshirts getting in peoples' faces here and there and issuing threats and causing embarrassment? It's not unprecedented- they did it in the Nineties (with de-facto "protection rackets" in which they promised to go away if they got what they demanded) with the banks, to intimidate their executives into making them lend billions and billions to people who couldn't repay the loans. This, we know, or ought to, is the cause of the current global recession (see how destructive these left-wing extremist "community activists" actually are?).

The FCC is currently composed of two Democrat and two Republican commissioners. Obama has nominated a new chairman, Julius Genachowski, which would give Democrats a 3-2 majority once he is confirmed.
Ah. The far left will have a majority on the FCC. Guaranteed the majority will do what The... Man... Behind... the... Curtain... wants. (Go ahead... click on each of the highlighted words to get the Big Picture here).

As WND previously reported, Genachowski advocates creating new media ownership rules that promote a diversity of voices on the airwaves. In fact, Genachowski is credited with helping craft the Obama technology agenda, which states: "Encourage diversity in the ownership of broadcast media, promote the development of new media outlets for expression of diverse viewpoints, and clarify the public interest obligations of broadcasters who occupy the nation's spectrum."

(...)

Hedgecock, also a WND columnist, called for the creation of a national "tea party-style" grass-roots movement to subvert plans he and the other participants agreed were direct, frontal assaults on First Amendment guarantees of freedom of speech and freedom of the press.

Can't let the left-wing extremist bastards have their way, for their intentions are NOT good, even if they think they are.

Obama: 'Catastrophe' If Trillion $ Plan Rejected

So President B. Hussein Obama is warning that if he doesn't get his way, that if he doesn't get to blow nearly a trillion dollars on what he calls a "stimulus" plan for the economy, then "catastrophe" will ensue.

Well, did he make the case? I see no evidence that he did. He's simply counting on Big Media brainwashing the People and on fear propaganda such as he's spewing with such words as "catastrophe".

But what proof is there that there'll be any stimulus from the "stimulus plan"? What case was made that it has to be so ludicrously, dangerously large?

Whatever happened to the Democrats' fearmongering about the ballooning deficit and debt under Bush? What, is it only a bad thing if a Republican does it?

Besides, we don't really know what Obama plans to do with the money, at least concerning a huge chunk of it, that is, the part that isn't already earmarked for bailing out the American automakers and banks, etc.

Perhaps if he were to simply stick to helping the automakers and the banks and leave it at that, then the Republicans might approve. Might. One thing's for sure, and that's that Obama's demand for so much money to spend as he sees fit, well, it's too much, period.

Besides, the more we add to the debt today, the more of a problem it'll be in the future with respect to higher debt interest payments, for one thing.

In a nutshell, Obama's demanding too much, expecting too much. I guess that's why they call him a "liberal"... his demands and expectations are very liberal. He actually must believe that he's entitled to close to a trillion bucks to play with!

Speaking of catastrophe, doesn't Mr. B. Hussein Obama understand that if he doesn't fight the terrorists and other enemies of America and the Free World, that there'll be a catastrophe, in that one or more of them will attack and cause massive destruction and death? Letting the enemy become stronger, bolder, more dangerous, all the while appeasing them and doing nothing when they call one's bluff... not wise at all, and guaranteeing catastrophe in the future. So, as far as I'm concerned, if Obama isn't doing anything to crush the terrorists at home and abroad and to stop the likes of Iran from acquiring nuclear weapons, then I shall blame him for the catastrophe or catastrophes that ensue... just as Chamberlain is blameworthy for ignoring the obvious threat posed by Hitler. I'm also disturbed by Obama's agenda of shrinking and weakening the US Forces, including his refusal to agree to replace the aging stock of America's nuclear deterrents. After all, the enemy's acquiring new, state-of-the-art, ready-for-use nukes with the latest delivery tech and so on and so forth, so to allow America's military and nuclear deterrence to simply wither away while the enemy's is becoming bigger, more powerful and better all the time, is treasonous, to say the very least!

And as to those who would blast me for engaging in hyperbole, well, what about Obama and his vague fearmongering involving the word "catastrophe"? Problem is that it's not a given at all that there'll be any worse recession if there's no "stimulus". There's too many factors at play, now and in the future, and in the future, one cannot predict what these factors will be, so I'd suggest that we all smarten up for a change and go back to good, old-fashioned conservative economic policies and chuck the credit-for-everyone, big-government, don't-worry-be-happy attitude the Democrats started and which Bush failed to reverse.

Conservatism, after all, helps prevent "catastrophes", or at least allows us to be better able to deal with them, because we haven't put all our eggs in one basket, haven't borrowed when we can't repay and so on and so forth.

Economic liberalism got us into this fix. It can't be expected to be the solution!

Thank goodness that, although Canadian Prime Minister Harper "caved in" to the Hard Left in order to prevent the possibility of a coup leading to an unelected "coalition" of crooks, communists and traitors calling the shots on our behalf without our consent, the PM still appears to be relatively conservative in how he goes about it, making sure that the bigger "commitments" such as "low-income housing" and so on are temporary and will not lead to permanent new bureaucracies and entitlements. And the fact that he included tax cuts in the plan is a big part of why he's the man to blow the budget, not the other guys. I'm certain he totally hates being pushed into this position, but what was the alternative again? A Hard-Left putsch and temporary, unelected dictatorship with unthinkably scary Hard-Left crap and most likely a larger deficit, with much of the new spending made permanent, as the Hard Left wants.

I can't say I envy the situation the Americans are in relative to that of Canada. The Clinton Democrats down there were even dumber and more economically foolish than the Liberals up here, as reviled as those crooks were, and still are. It doesn't appear that Obama will be any different than Clinton would've, given the same situation, as the whole plan smells like a Leftiebeast's hiney.

Wednesday, June 17, 2009

Oh, Really, Obama?

Obama now claims he's "worried about deficits" and says "something has to be done".

Well, isn't this rich coming from the guy who deliberately massively worsened an already bad situation?

But he said once the recession ends, "we're going to have to close that gap between the amount of money coming in and the amount of money going out."

I suspect that this points to his hidden agenda.

I suspect that, as promised, and little-reported, his agenda of shrinking the U.S. Forces, making them less capable of successfully facing and neutralizing the big, growing, gathering, grave international threats to America will be a huge part of this move to balance the budget.

He'll cut things that Leftists hate, not things that Leftists love. He's already entrenched billions of bucks in new, unnecessary Far-Left spending programs which he'll balance by cutting necessary things like national defence, which is what America's enemies want to see happen.

He's going to slash healthcare spending to balance the budget, too. Just like the Liberals did in Canada in the Nineties. And we know the healthcare problems it accelerated, which haven't been reversed by the reinfusion of billions back into the system!

Cutting bucks out of healthcare only increases the problem of rationing and waiting.

I suspect he doesn't have a clue what he's doing, what he's saying, what's going to happen.

He's just reading crap off the gosh-darned teleprompter.

The only folks who know what's in the offing are the folks behind the curtain telling him what to say, oh, so elegantly. Yep, he turns their verbal diarrhea into verbal gold. He's a salesman.

Poll Indicates Blissful Ignorance of What Would Be Required to "Combat Climate Change"

Story here. h/t: NationalNewswatch.com Emphasis mine.

OTTAWA - Four of five Canadians say they understand what is causing global warming but a majority does not seem to know that scientific research blames greenhouse gas pollution from industrial facilities and other human activity for causing the problem, a poll has revealed.

Meantime, despite gloomy media reports and warnings about a recession, the environment remains the No. 1 priority of Canadians ahead of both jobs and the economy, according to the survey commissioned by a public relations firm and a non-profit group set up to educate people in Canada about global warming.

When asked "what is the most important problem facing Canada today," 20 per cent of respondents said the environment, followed by 14 per cent who said health care, 13 per cent who said the economy and 10 per cent who said they were concerned about social issues or poverty. Only seven per cent said they were concerned about governance issues, followed by five per cent who said they were concerned about the war in Afghanistan and four per cent who said they were concerned about jobs and unemployment.

McAllister Opinion Research surveyed 1,014 Canadian adults March 7-March 10 and its findings are considered accurate within 3.1 percentage points, 19 times out of 20.

This is very interesting, actually, and bears careful, sober analysis. While the article naturally has the usual mainstream-media spin, it's not the only way to look at it, so here's another.

My suggestion is that Canadians don't really understand, that they've only simply heard and become unrealizingly mesmerized over and over again by the overwhelming propaganda that there's "global warming" and "climate change" and that somehow the government can put a stop to it via some incomprehensible, mysterious, but impressive-sounding things called "Kyoto" and "emissions credit trading" and whatnot.

Impacting industry and personal lifestyles so extremely, as the enviro-fascists want to happen, would have seriously deleterious consequences for the economy, for employment and for the People, personally, of course.

They don't really realize what it means for the economy, employment and themselves personally. Imagine the poll results if they understood that it would really hurt them personally. I suspect the results would be radically altered.

Despite the enviro-fascists' claims that it's "all figured out perfectly 100%" or similar nonsense, it's not a given that "environmental technologies" will provide enough employment to replace all the jobs sacrificed at the altar of climate change worship. Little do Canadians realize that if we follow the bizarrely-extreme, exclusively-free-world-punishing, enviro-fascist agenda on "climate change", we will likely see our great and strong nation plunged into such a depression the likes of which hasn't been seen since the Dirty Thirties leading up to World War Two.

They don't realize that draconian, extreme policies restricting energy and emissions and so on will kill so much economic activity and shift it all to, for example, the belligerent, brutal China and Russia, who are exempt from having to do anything themselves, despite being horrendous greenhouse gas emitters and getting worse in a hurry.

The implications of this for Canada and the rest of the free world are ominously devastating.

The Liberals in Canada did absolutely nothing despite pretentiously pledging to do what they could. Why? Because they know it's a scam, that it'd have destroyed Canada's economy and devastated their party far worse in the last general election. But they also realize that, for the moment, it's still politically popular to pay furious lip service to "climate change" and "the environment" even whilst not meaning a single uttered word. They see easy votes in brainlessly rejecting absolutely everything and anything the Conservative government does to help in terms of "the environment", always screaming, "It's worthless... not nearly enough!" and so on and so forth, just like the NDP and the Bloc. These extremists are trying to one-up one another in the "I'm more environmentally-fascist than you" department, and it's leading us nowhere but towards possible disaster, and not the kind of imaginary disaster story with which they try to scare us.

But they cannot be allowed to play such nasty, cynical, hypocritical politics forever.

I declare that we must have an unrestricted, free and fully open information campaign to counter the lies of the enviro-fascist movement so as to properly inform the People exactly what is being pushed at them with such fearmongering and false assurances that everything will be all right as long as we think and do precisely as we're told.

The so-defamed "deniers" in the scientific community must be granted each and every equal opportunity to tell the People their views, too, just as have been those who try to frighten the People into submission with gross exaggerations based on suspect, demonstrated- unreliable "data".

The monopolistic dominance of the snake oil marketers must come to an end immediately and the truth given a fair airing, no matter how inconvenient it is to the likes of Al Gore and David Suzuki.

Doubt is healthy. And the People have every right to raise doubts and ask inconvenient questions of the enviro-fascists, who seem to favor the non-free, belligerent world over the free world for some potential frightening reason we have yet to expose. Their scam must be exposed, the real "inconvenient" truth illuminated for the People to see... finally... so that the People can, democratically, make the decision as to what course(s) of action to take according to the best information they can possibly have, which they currently are being denied by the enviro-fascists.

Left Is Religion, Needs To Separate From Politics

Hmm.  Makes sense!

In Horowitz’s book The Politics of Bad Faith, the intellectual companion to Radical Son, he makes one of his most critical diagnoses of the Left in the second essay, titled “The Religious Roots of Radicalism.” Horowitz explains how the Jewish religious concept of Tikkun Olam – the quest to heal the world and pursue “social justice” – was incorporated by Karl Marx and other 19th century radical godfathers into the heart of the socialist cause. The religious became political. This insight has informed all of Horowitz’s work. The Left is a political faith.

This has been the Left’s problem since it began: it has sought to use political tools and government institutions to bring about religious ends. And as such it has failed repeatedly.

(...)

The world could not be effectively changed at the level of government. Merely passing laws, smashing institutions, and electing better politicians would not work to heal the world. To do so was to not really go to the root of the problem. To pursue tikkun olam effectively, to truly be progressive, to be radical in spirit, one must operate at the level of individual people – not governments, laws, and institutions.

This approach takes the Left out of the political arena and returns it to the religious realm from which it originally emerged. Focusing on healing individual souls is the way churches and synagogues function. And here’s the secret: it works. Good houses of worship do heal people’s souls and make them better people.
You know... the Left is always harping about the mythical dogma of "separation of church and state" but doesn't practice what it preaches.  As Leftism is really a religion, a belief, and not founded in the physical world, it has no business imposing its beliefs onto others.  Yet it does anyway.  And we know how badly it turns out when it does.

The Right is about what works, about pragmatism, about realism, the opposite of what the Left is about.

So, logically, political alternatives shouldn't be about Right and Left and Center, but rather about which Rightist party has the credibility, the ideas and the plan for good government.

The Left, bizarrely, wants all political parties to be Leftist, as we see in how they keep telling non-Leftists to "become more moderate" (which means to abandon respect for reality and pragmatism and to become more dogmatic, accepting Leftist beliefs that we already know don't work in politics and government).  Really, the Left should go back to whence it came, the houses of worship, and quit pretending that they've got the solutions to real-world problems.

Leftism is more spiritual and dogmatic than down-to-earth.  But not in a healthy way, as it is with modern, sophisticated JudeoChristianity, what with their pragmatism in dealing with reality.

So it's no surprise that Free World Leftists are closer in ideology to dogmatic political entities and regimes that don't work as they're supposed to according to their dogmas, than to the Free World Right, which was getting things right before things began to get screwed up in the 1960s and beyond as the Left asserted itself more and more and more everywhere.  After all, it was the dogma of "social justice" that caused the recent global recession, ie. the Democrats' policy of forcing lending institutions to lend huge amounts of money to people who couldn't afford to repay the loans.  Eventually the defaults caused the credit crisis, the downfall of many banks, the global recession, and all that crap.  It's all the Left's fault, and the fault of supposed Rightists (Bush) who succumbed to some of the same seductive temptations as have hardcore Leftists, and failed to halt the growing problem before it became a catastrophe.

It's also a dogma that appeasing evil will make evil good.  History teaches this irrefutable truth, but Leftists deny this, deny that we should fight evil (like when we stand up to, and push back, bullies, as opposed to submitting to their oppression and tyranny!) rather than reward it for being as it is.  Again it's about clinging stubbornly to their dogmas in the face of undeniable truth.  So forges ahead the Left, currently exemplified by Barack Hussein Obama the Hapless and Clueless who babbles lightheadedly about the words "hope" and "change", neither of which apparently mean a thing in reality.  Next thing you know, he'll start performing weird rituals as he delivers his teleprompted sermons via the Big Old Media pulpit.
