But I don't see how weird sex behavior and public Islamic footbaths, plus blowing a trillion dollars on mostly socialistic pork-barrel crap is "progressive". Those things are simply stuff the Left wants, and they label it "progressive" just to help them sell/impose their demands for more of the same. I see no "progress" in any of that. One would be hard-pressed to make the case that those things are constructive and advance civilization and make the Free World any stronger, as opposed to weaker.
Well, I've found an example of what's progressive. Not only that, this technological "eureka!" moment is bloody impressive and actually makes the mind visualize a markedly different future once the discovery is fully implemented and affordable for the masses.

One day, not too far off in the future, surely we'll be able to get something like that at a FutureShop or even a WalMart... imagine the usefulness... doing away with hardly-that-cheap computer monitors will be an option, for one thing...
