Seems they all have one thing in common: Judeophobia and Israelophobia, which are prejudices acquired most frequenly by being lied to, even brainwashed from birth in the case of the "Palestinians", by bigots who want to spread fear and loathing against an identifiable group or groups.
At least this year, however, some folks realized the stupidity of their past open support for the terrorists, hopefully realizing that the terrorists don't want peace, after all, but more likely they stayed away from the most recent hatefest in Montreal due to their advisors' warnings that it could cost them votes...
This year, during the war in Gaza, the same scenario was repeated. A demonstration supposedly calling for peace turned into a loud show of hatred against Israel and Jews, with a sea of Hamas flags displayed in downtown Montreal. There was a difference, though. This time around the leaders of the Bloc and the Parti Québécois abstained from attending, and there was not a Liberal MP in sight. But the union leaders were there.
Ah. The union leaders, marching in lockstep with Islamic supremacists spewing Judeophobic hate and demanding Israel's forced end. What kind of folks are these union leaders? They appear as if they're the enemy within, terrorist collaborators, or just plain stupid and/or insane!
Last, but not least, there is the old factor of anti-Semitism, which still exists in Quebec as in so many other societies throughout the world. Nobody will dare voice plain, direct anti-Semitic remarks, but attacking Israel is an “acceptable” way for anti-Semites to express their Judeophobia.
Apparently, bigots walk amongst us. You can't tell they're bigots, because they bite their tongues to avoid exposing themselves. But when it's politically correct to express hatred for a nation founded on a particular religion, the bigots who hate the practitioners of that religion will attack the nation as an indirect way of expressing their hatred against the practitioners of the faith. This is why Leftists are always going around bashing Israel- because they hate Jews. Yep, I know that there are Leftist Jews who also bash Israel, but, hey, they're Leftist and they suffer from a variation of "battered woman" syndrome, wrongly blaming themselves and Israel for all the hatred violence they receive.
