While most Canadian media outlets are slashing jobs and other costs to stay afloat in a sea of bad economic news for the industry, the CBC is once again rattling its tin cup for more handouts from taxpayers.
I don't see why we should care. Even the hockey games can go to another network.
I'd suggest slashing some of the crap that they produce on our dime. There's plenty of it. Get rid of 'em.
For example, don't do any more crap shows about boys visiting ball-waxing parlors! Not on our dime!
Better yet, sell the whole thing off... We need to save a billion here, a billion there. After all, we're in deficit and the debt is a-balloonin' again, 'cause the Far Left threatened to usurp the duly elected government (and do God only knows what!) if it didn't open the spending floodgates...
