Eww! Barf-O-Rama City! And the Left accused the Bush administration of being full of sinister characters hellbent on making millions...Lawrence Summers, a top economic adviser to President Barack Obama, pulled in more than $2.7 million in speaking fees paid by firms at the heart of the financial crisis, including Citigroup, Goldman Sachs, JPMorgan, Merrill Lynch, Bank of America Corp. and the now-defunct Lehman Brothers.
He pulled in another $5.2 million from D.E. Shaw, a hedge fund for which he served as managing director from October 2006 until joining the administration.
Thomas E. Donilon, Obama’s deputy national security adviser, was paid $3.9 million by the power law firm O’Melveny & Myers to represent clients including two firms that receieved federal bailout funds: Citigroup and Goldman Sachs. He also disclosed that he’s a member of the Trilateral Commission and sits on the steering committee of the supersecret Bilderberg group. Both groups are favorite targets of conspiracy theorists.
And White House Counsel Greg Craig earned $1.7 million in private practice representing an exiled Bolivian president, a Panamanian lawmaker wanted by the U.S. government for allegedly murdering a U.S. soldier and a tech billionaire accused of securities fraud and various sensational drug and sex crimes.
Apparently, the Obama White House aides' ranks contain rich and powerful elites...
But, hey, like with Clinton, that sort of stuff is ok as long as the President is a Democrat! Thank goodness it isn't a Republican administration, eh, 'cause then it'd be scandalous as far as the Big Media is concerned, and they wouldn't let us hear the end of it. Plus there'd be a whole lot of protest-demos against it by brain-numb youth, who are eerily absent from the streets despite the glaring similarities between the Obama White House and the Bush one, including the Iraq war, the Afghanistan war and the intensifying deadly airstrikes on Pakistan, killing Muslims... But of course, everything's ok as long as a Democrat is President. Wonder if Obama'd have a free pass if he were to have a Holocaust in America and if he invaded, conquered and annexed Canada...
Where, oh, where have the protests gone since Obama took over the White House? Surely the protestors at the G20 are not the same ones as we've seen holding up the picket signs saying stuff like BusHitler and that the Star of David somehow, against all logic and sanity, equals a swastika...
Are those hard-leftwing protests actually fake? Do the youth in them really care... do they even understand anything at all about what they're screaming like lunatics about? I'm seriously doubting so. I believe they're like the Brownshirts of the Hard Left and that the left-wing "community organizers" (Obama was one) summon them, issue screaming points and picket signs and tell 'em to go here, go there wearing masks, camo pants, jackboots and kaffiyehs, and throw rocks and molotov cocktails and break windows and so on and so forth, and to get naked if they wish and so on and so forth...
Interesting how the last major report on Zombietime was on January 10th, just days before Obama's victory... nothing since, despite all the Muslims being slaughtered in the exact same faraway lands under Obama's watch and all the corruption, the recession and so on and so forth... You know, I'm convinced that those Hard-Left protests with the gas-masked-and-kaffiyeh-clad, disinformed, brainwashed young lunatics throwing rocks and firebombs are bogus, put-on by Hard-Left "community organizers" (likely ultimately linked to George Soros and his money) and commited by those who themselves obviously ought to be commited.
