Just like in Communist China again.
(Oops- forgot to provide the link... just did, right above. -CS)
The Left-Wing Extremist agenda of the Obama-Soros Regime, as I say all the time, becomes more and more apparent every single day. Indeed, there IS "change". And we're learning each day exactly what it means. Why the hell didn't voters ask before voting? Stupid voters! What the feck have they done? It's like when the Germans elected another charismatic socialist... boy, did he ever surprise them, and the world, with the "change" he imposed. Now look at what we've got in America...
WASHINGTON – Barack Obama's nominee for "regulatory czar" has advocated a "Fairness Doctrine" for the Internet that would require opposing opinions be linked and also has suggested angry e-mails should be prevented from being sent by technology that would require a 24-hour cooling off period.
The revelations about Cass Sunstein, Obama's friend from the University of Chicago Law School and nominee to head the White House Office of Information and Regulatory Affairs, come in a new book by Brad O'Leary, "Shut Up, America! The End of Free Speech." OIRA will oversee regulation throughout the U.S. government.
Sunstein also has argued in his prolific literary works that the Internet is anti-democratic because of the way users can filter out information of their own choosing. The internet is "anti-democratic"??? You mean... As opposed to simply being told what to think and believe by a dishonest, manipulative Media of Mass Deception, which wouldn't be subject to state control because it already submissively, automatically toes the party line of the Extreme Left!
What the Obama-Soros Regime really wants to do is to control what its political/ideological opponents and dissidents can and cannot say. This is an example of what I meant when I warned, over and over again, that Obama and the Democrats have a hidden agenda of which they weren't telling American voters. Precisely like Hitler didn't tell the German voters what he had in store for Germany and the world.
And get a load of this darkly ominous statement (which I'll emphasize):
"A system of limitless individual choices, with respect to communications, is not necessarily in the interest of citizenship and self-government," he wrote. "Democratic efforts to reduce the resulting problems ought not be rejected in freedom's name."-Thus spake Cass Sunstein, old friend of Obama and nominee to lead the White House Office of Information and Regulatory Affairs (Might as well call it the Department of Propaganda and Dissent Control).
If this isn't fascism and the primacy of the state over the individual... if this isn't taking away our freedoms, then what is?
