What on earth makes Obama think he knows better about what is legal under the law of Honduras than the Supreme Court of Honduras and the law-writing legislature of Honduras? The Honduran military acted after Zelaya defied an order by that nation's highest court which pronounced his coup attempt illegal; he has been replaced under a Honduran legal process by that nation's Congress, which essentially impeached him and democratically voted in a successor. That sounds pretty legal to me. I am the first to admit I am not an expert in Honduran law, but I'd bet the Honduran Supreme Court has a better grasp on it than President Obama. On the issue of what is legal in Honduras, as between Hugo Chávez and the Honduran Supreme Court, our president has decided to go with Chávez.

That's the sorry story as Honduras' now ex-president, Mel Zelaya, last Thursday defied a Supreme Court ruling and tried to hold a "survey" to rewrite the constitution for his permanent re-election. It's the same blueprint for a rigged political system that's made former democracies like Venezuela, Bolivia, Nicaragua and Ecuador into shells of free countries.
Perhaps it's part of Obama's hidden agend of which I warned? Rewrite the American Constitution for his own purposes, including removal of the two-term limit on the presidency of any one individual. He's already broken the Constitution by not qualifying under the eligibility rules for being President. This is indubitable except by stupid, delusional and dishonest people who believe in the kind of dictator Obama's obviously seeking to be.
As a result of his brazen disregard for the law, Zelaya found himself escorted from office by the military Sunday morning, and into exile. Venezuela's Hugo Chavez and Cuba's Fidel Castro rushed to blame the U.S., calling it a "yanqui coup."
Funny how Castro, of all folks, is critical of this. He effected a military coup decades ago and has been the murderous, anti-human-rights Communist dictator of Cuba ever since.
And funny how Obama refuses to meddle in Chinese and Iranian internal affairs, but is immediately meddling in Honduran internal affairs. His claim to believe in democracy, human rights and rule of law and constitutions is absolute total bullshit, and this is blatantly obvious in the contradictory positions he takes with respect to other countries and with respect to his unconstitutional policies and behavior inside America.
Compare this pathetic number with the massive (thousands and thousands) numbers of anti-regime protestors in Iran and in China (which I reported on recently, with one incident of tens of thousands of Chinese violently protesting against the murderous behavior of the Communist regime there).President Obama on Monday called the action "not legal," and claimed that Zelaya is still the legitimate president.
There was a coup all right, but it wasn't committed by the U.S. or the Honduran court. It was committed by Zelaya himself. He brazenly defied the law, and Hondurans overwhelmingly supported his removal (a pro-Zelaya rally Monday drew a mere 200 acolytes).
Hmm... this reminds me of what, in Canada, just months ago, the Leftist (Liberal, NDP, Bloc) Opposition tried to do without legitimate cause. They just didn't like the economic policies of the government, so they tried to effect a coup which Canadians were vehemently opposed to. Well, their blackmail succeeded in reversing Canada's wonderful progress on the debt paydown front.
Let Canadian Liberal Leader (not democratically elected to the post) Michael Ignatieff's chief propaganda attack clown, the disgraced Warren Kinsella, spin that one with whatever silly stuffed animal or whatever he wants to brandish (maybe it'll be Spongebob Poopypants?).

There's clearly an international socialist movement, including Obama, to abolish constitutions, the rule of law, democracy and human rights worldwide. You simply have to read between the lines, armed with the facts (from the NEW MEDIA), to realize this.
