Let's hope Obama doesn't plan to hold onto General Motors for long. If he does, well, you can probably expect him to ban the likes of the above and make GM make boring, embarrassing little socialistmobiles that only granola-gobbling enviro-weenies might want to buy.

Automakers aren't meant to be run by politicians and bureaucrats. They'd just be even worse than the private-sector guys who drove GM into the ground in the first place.

And those unions... they're a serious threat to the North American automotive industry. They're too greedy, to put it in a nutshell. They don't care about cars or about the automotive industry and its international competitiveness at all, obviously.
