With all due respects, Quebec city's "cols rouges" huge protest march April 11th predated this Facebook page.

The liberals have theirs do their tea partying for them and that is the NATIONAL MEDIA from coast to coast to coast.

I wonder how the media will fear with this new found Canadian tea party.
Look what happened to the american media; the rating went down full blast because due to the American national media lack and deliberate refusal to talk about the secrets within the OBAMA's administration; the rise of FOX flourish.

CBC CTV better look out, they are the main course to driving canadians to form a Tea Party.
The Tea Partiers will demand a 'new' media, to do what the opposition medias refuse to do.

That's true, Manny. It's considered the very first Tea Party in Canada. We're going to be building our own movement now.

Jen, folks are talking about it now. There's an appetite to organize. Lower taxes, smaller gov't, less unnecessary programs, less waste, etc... that's what it's going to be about- not necessarily blasting any government (no need to blast the Tories much- their hand was forced by the spectre of a coup by Obama copiers and I genuinely sense an itching on the Tories' part to get really fiscally conservative really soon), and, besides, they get blasted enough by the Big Media and by the Opposition, who does a better job than the Republicans do wrt the Obamacrats (the GOP pulls too many punches, plays Mr. Nice Guy way too much).

"We're going to be building our own movement now."

Building your own movement - starting with a historical image "borrowed" from the USA.

You probably don't even see how funny that is, do you?

About as funny as expecting a leftie to understand the concept of patriotism.

"Patriotism"?

I don't expect coherence from you yobs, but let me help you out just a little here with a quick multiple choice quiz.

1) The "Tea Party" movement originated in (a) Canada, (b) The United States, or (c) Other?

2) The "Tea Party" is named after an event that occurred in (a) Canada, (b) the United States, or (c) Other?

3) The Boston Tea Party marked a rebellion against (a) the country ruled by Canada's Queen, (b) the Soviet Union, or (c) Other?

4) The Canadian blogger who runs a blog post series entitled "I Hate Canada" is (a) a "lefty", or (b) a "righty"?

I understand that hanging out at Scenty's makes us all a bit stupider than usual, but don't push it.

I knew you wouldn't understand.

Yeah. I'm funny that way. Boundless faith in human nature. I look for intelligence where it doesn't exist.

I will say, thought, that you've perfectly captures the political maturity and sophistication of the Teabag movement in Canada - a borrowed name, a borrowed ideology, and a launch through Facebook.

Canadian Sentinel said...

ROTFALMFAO at Balboo.

Mentions "maturity and sophistication", and, in the same breath, smears the movement as "teabag". Looky Balboo, as "mature and sophisticated" as Anderson Cooper...

Launch through Facebook? Makes it worthless? Guess the anti-proroguation movement's launch through Facebook makes that worthless, too...

Looky-loo- Balboo's grupmy-wumpy, negative-nelly, terrified of The People rising up against his fringe-extremist movement called "progressive"...

Leftists hate it when The People rise up against their little pee party with a much-bigger and -better party of their own, so they try to diminish and demonize it...

Yup. That's what the Leftists are doing. And they're already dismissive as the Canadian Tea Party is merely still sliding out of the vagina... They don't want it to live, because they're so terrified about what it'll grow to become, ie. a force to end high taxes that allow Leftists to do a minimum of work (if any at all) for maximum compensation, and all sorts of stuff paid for by other people who work a LOT harder and longer for less compensation...

Speaking of adopting American stuff, the Canadian Left wants to adopt Obammunism, always demanding that the government do "what Obama's doing", like be "more open and transparent", while, in fact, Obama only PROMISED to be, and then has been anything but! Funny, that... Canadian Leftists believe that all's a utopia in America 'cause they've got Leftist in power, whilst those actually living in America know it isn't! Canadian Leftists are sooooo ignorant, delusional, brainwashed...

LMAO. I see subsiding into baby talk is your new strategy when the grownups show up.

I like it. Makes the contrast even clearer.
