Steyn Asks Ignatieff Question Re Kinsella

Liberal leader Michael Ignatieff, above. Perhaps he's saying, "I can't be bothered!"

His chief strategist Warren Kinsella, below. He 's written a book about "kicking ass".

Question here.

ht: Bourque
When your senior advisor writes to the Canada Israel Committee to get two bloggers with whom he has a strange obsession bounced from a visit to Israel and threatens to frost out the CIC's access to the Liberal Party if he they don't do his bidding and to "contact friends in Israel to warn them about these two women and to suggest they not be permitted entry", is he strongarming a Jewish advocacy group and pressuring the immigration authorities of a foreign state on behalf of himself or on behalf of the Liberal Party of Canada?
Again? Just a little while after threatening the TVO with "significant consequences", he goes and does the above?

Is Liberal leader Michael Ignatieff aware of what Warren Kinsella is doing, while all the while we all know that he's working for Ignatieff himself? Or is Iggy clueless? Does Iggy even care? I don't believe he doesn't know; it's not plausible, nor realistic that he wouldn't. Definitely someone would tell him. I wonder if Ignatieff... if he not only is aware... but is he directing or at least approving what Kinsella is doing? Canadians want to know, because the more his chief strategist behaves like a bully/intimidator/threatenor, the more they wonder whether this is also the kind of man Ignatieff may be, whether this is the sort of thing he practices, at least via delegation...

I have a question of my own:

What is Warren Kinsella? What does he do for Michael Ignatieff? Are you listening, Michael?

I'm reminded of the SA (Sturmabteilung), best known by the nickname "brownshirts".

They were the thugs Adolf Hitler and his National Socialist German Workers Party (NSDAP) used in their drive to power: beating up opponents; destroying polling booths; driving off opposition party voters at the polls; stealing ballot boxes; attacking and trashing opposition party headquarters; and generally brutalizing anybody who dared to oppose their beloved fuehrer.

The SA, or Sturmabteilung, also called 'Brownshirts' were Nazi terrorists in uniform dedicated to intimidating and brutalizing any groups or individuals who stood in their way.

I would suggest that this behavior stop before they give the Conservatives too much ammunition to use against Ignatieff. As it stands right now, Ignatieff is hanging on by a thread. All it will take is a couple of good, inconvenient-truth ads...

Well, Iggy, well? What say you? What do you?
