Story here.
It's definitely a hate crime. Ripping off the man's symbol of faith and threatening to break his legs in the future. Hate crime, no doubt.
A Christian minister who has had heated arguments with Muslims on his TV Gospel show has been brutally attacked by three men who ripped off his cross and warned: ‘If you go back to the studio, we’ll break your legs.’The Reverend Noble Samuel was driving to the studio when a car pulled over in front of him. A man got out and came over to ask him directions in Urdu.
Mr Samuel, based at Heston United Reformed Church, West London, said: ‘He put his hand into my window, which was half open, and grabbed my hair and opened the door.
He started slapping my face and punching my neck. He was trying to smash my head on the steering wheel.
Then he grabbed my cross and pulled it off and it fell on the floor. He was swearing. The other two men came from the car and took my laptop and Bible.’
The assailants were "Asian" and spoke Urdu. Their own religion is not known, but they were obviously reacting in light of the fact that some Muslims on the Reverend's show got nasty towards him and he stood his ground, saying that they each had their own opinion...
I'd like to point out to the "Progressive" Left that Christianophobia and violent intolerance and hatred against Christians is very, very real, and that they should be treating it as seriously as they treat "homophobia" and "Islamophobia". But guess what? They won't, for the "Progressive" Left as a movement, though not necessarily all of its de-facto cult members, hates Christians, not to mention Jews. People in the know are well aware of this irrefutable fact.
