60,000 Moonbats Take To Streets In Greece

Boyoboy, there's sure a LOT of Left-Wing Extremists in Greece.

Like everywhere else.

Violent, armed, masked anarchists.  Attacking police.  Throwing rocks.  Burning cars and buildings.

Nice "progressive youth", eh?  Real civilized, right?

This is nothing but pure subversion.  There's nothing legitimate about their behavior.

No better than Hitler's Brownshirts.

They want to destroy Greece by forcing her into bankruptcy.

Leftist "protestors" like these masked, armed thugs HAVE ZERO LEGITIMACY.

They DESERVE ZERO RESPECT.

It's the Progressive Movement in action!

6 decades of moonbattery gets you:

a failed state.

"A democracy cannot exist as a permanent form of government. It can only exist until the voters discover that they can vote themselves largesse from the public treasury. From that moment on, the majority always votes for the candidates promising the most benefits from the public treasury with the result that a democracy always collapses over loose fiscal policy followed by a dictatorship. The average age of the world's greatest civilizations has been 200 years." [Alexander Tytler]

"When the people find they can vote themselves money, that will herald the end of the republic." [Ben Franklin]

Hmmm. I wonder if this is supposed to discourage the quest for balanced democracy, or fire up angry replies. As a conservative I would note four things.
1: Tytler died in 1813
2: The quote probably isn't his anyway. See (http://www.lorencollins.net/tytler.html)
3: Henning W. Prentis Jr., the fellow who may have written it, said this: "The three legs of our tripod of freedom stand or fall together. Destroy constitutional representative self-government, and pure democracy - the unmitigated rule of the current majority - soon degenerates into despotism and tyranny."
4: That's why C.S. is here. People like myself use the forum to learn and voice the truth, thus preventing progressive despotism. The tripod will stand.
