The immediate tangible benefit of the asinine health care bill's failure to pass is that it would be the end of Palosi. A huge blow to Obama, yes, but it would finish her... both politically and mentally. She is very close to having a psychotic break as it is.
No one is saying that. But if you think of it, that may very well be the sweet reward the Dems. would get to let this monster go. Very tempting, and many of them know dumping the bill IS the will of the people.
There is no way to quantify how important it is for us to dump this bill.
As it is, right now, if the chips are down and you can't get a procedure in a timely manner in Canada, you can come here. If we pass this, we all die in a line together. The only difference will be.... that there is no trench.
Indeed, Pelosi's got one of those faces that doesn't have much fat padding, and not much facial musculature (too bad she didn't go to the gym and make the gut-wrenching-workout-faces that build facial muscles) consequently accentuating their skeletal contours. It doesn't help that they absent-mindedly make faces like that, ie. the scary-skeleton faces...
Kind of like how Michael Ignatieff sometimes looks positively Satanic when he fails to exercise facial-body-language self-control.
And they don't like the "wooden, boring" PM Harper's facial expressions, and will call him "angry" if he breaks into anything other than a smile? Sheeeeesh!
