U.S. Lawmaker Hosts Anti-Islamic Dutch Lawmaker

Associated Press, Feb. 23, 2009

WASHINGTON — Republican Sen. Jon Kyl is hosting a film screening at the Capitol building on Thursday for a far-right Dutch lawmaker who claims that Islam inspires terrorism. Kyl is sponsoring the event for Geert Wilders, who was denied entry to London earlier this month.

Wilders’ 15-minute film juxtaposes verses from the Koran with images of violence by Muslims. Wilders has called the Koran a "fascist book" and said it should be banned. Kyl agreed to facilitate the event because "all too often, people who have the courage to point out the dangers of militant Islamists find themselves vilified and endangered," said spokesman Ryan Patmintra. Wilders’ film has s parked protests around the world, as well as inspired a debate on the freedom of speech..

Leading senators, including Majority Leader Harry Reid, a Democrat, declined to comment.

"Anti-Islamic". So that's how the Associated Press paints Mr. Wilders. Big surprise. Funny how they don't paint radical Muslims as "anti-human-rights", which would, of course, be absolutely correct...

I note that the Associated Press labelled Mr. Wilders as "far right". As if that meant something. I guess that being truthful in an inconvenient way and refusing to submit to the fascism of political correctness and radical Islam makes one "far-right", then, and, if so, I guess that I, too, as well as millions and millions of others, are "far-right". Whatever. And while we're at it, we might as well call those who call us that... "far-left", for their submission to fascism. That's it- right-wing means one exercises one's liberties whereas left-wing means one submits to fascism and allows one's liberties to be taken away or suspended whenever radical, supremacist, imperialist Muslims want that to be the case.

Also via email, addressing the above-noted move:

After a year of research we published our first article exposing the Koran as the major "root cause" of terrorism, on July 31, 2003. If you go to v-v-a-r.org you can see excerpts from our first 15 articles under "Articles on Islam.".

Our most recent 17 articles are posted at WMDterror.com. In the course of our campaign we have been both "vilified and endangered", (Patmintra) with people charging us with "Islamophobia", and through the receipt of death threats. Although we do receive support from two important organizations:

"I support your efforts to awaken the West to the dangers presented by Islam. It is all too clear that war has been declared along with the religious "justifications" and that Western leaders refuse to acknowledge that fact."
