CO2 Not Pollutant; Essential For Life: Scientist

Barry Hussein Obama's hidden agenda includes declaring carbon dioxide a "dangerous pollutant", a toxin, poison, etc.

Isn't that insane? Every time you exhale, you'd therefore be spewing environmental poisons and subject to control by the state apparatus! Or something, anyway. Of course Obama knows the whole thing is a scam.... of course. So I suspect that regulation of carbon dioxide is really a means to some end, likely an end which sane, reasonable folks won't like.

Well, a scientist is saying that CO2 is essential to life on earth, and without it, everything would go extinct. So it's absurd to call it a "dangerous substance".

John Coleman has more than 50 years' experience forecasting the weather. He is also one of the 70+ featured scientists who will be attending the 2009 International Conference on Climate Change in New York City March 8-10. As the Obama administration mulls carbon cap-and-trade, Coleman had this to say about CO2.

"CO2? It's a great positive," he states. "Without carbon dioxide in the atmosphere we'd all die because everything we eat would die."

"There'd be no life on planet Earth without carbon dioxide," says the veteran weather forecaster. "It's basic, it's necessary. It's ridiculous to call it a pollutant -- but that's precisely where government is going."

Coleman is referring to an attempt by the Environmental Protection Agency to label CO2 as a dangerous pollutant in order for it to be regulated under the Clear Air Act.

At least... if CO2 gets regulated thusly, then there's an upside: Every time Al Gore talks about "climate change" and so on, he'll officially be spewing a dangerous pollutant. Then he'll have to be ordered by the state to shut up. Ditto Barry Obama. Ditto Janeane Garofalo. Ditto Michael Moore. Ditto Rosie O'Donnel. Ditto the Rev. Jeremy Wright. Ditto Ward Churchill. Ditto all those annoying "progressives" who never shut up...
