Do You Believe Ignatieff?

Is Michael Ignatieff just saying the "right" thing politically?

Does he really mean what he said?

If he desperately needed surgery but faced a wait of, say, a year, if he opted to get it in socialized-medicine-only Canada, does one really believe that he'd wait, if he really didn't have to?

Like, just to prove something?  Nah.  I don't believe him.  It's not rational to believe that a politician would be telling the truth on this.

One thing's for certain:  Politicians are human too.

And when one is faced with a choice such as either quick surgery to fix a serious problem, or suffering and maybe even dying, by waiting months or even years, for the Canadian alternative?

Really... it's one thing to say, when one has one's health now, that one wouldn't do the smart thing when facing something really, really serious... but once the bridge is being crossed, is one going to crawl in agony, perhaps facing death, when they can hail a quick cab to the other side of the bridge?

Come on, folks.  It's time for a "two-tier" system.

Who decides with respect to our own bodies?  The government... or ourselves?

Choice in healthcare is a must in Canada.

BECAUSE IT'S OUR BLOODY RIGHT!

The Supreme Court of Canada said so!

I agree with a two-tier healthcare and no, most definitely not do I believe Ignatieff, the Opposition parties nor the their media.
