Cuban citizens are forbidden to go to the state-of-the-art hospitals that tourists are able to visit.
Cuban citizens are pretty much left to fend for themselves.
One shudders when thinking about what Canadian healthcare may eventually become like, as it's socialized as well.
And what Obamacare could be like.
When the state provides the so-called "care", and one has no alternatives other than leaving the country (if they can), well, one is at the state's mercy... if it has any.
