Defending fundamentalist, literalist Islam and intolerant, hateful, harmful fundamentalist, literalist Muslims, as the Far Left does all the time, is no different than defending white supremacists. Except that the Islamists are a far, far greater threat today to humanity than are the white supremacists, who've been so effectively marginalized and persecuted with extreme prejudice as to be a very minuscule threat in comparison.
Why not marginalize radical Islamists, rather than submit to them and take the Peoples' tax dollars to build public footbaths for them and so on? It worked to marginalize and persecute the white supremacists... it'll work for Islamic supremacists. The only difference between the two kinds of supremacists is that one side happens to believe in the Koran and takes it literally.
It's time to hunt Islamic supremacists and bring them to justice with exactly as much zeal as we've used and continue to use against white supremacists.

It's their way of life. Women don't seem to be oppressed, the public don't seem to want to rebel ( unlike for example, IRAN) .
