Liberals To Violate Fundraising Law

Liberal Party auctioning off, to highest big-corporate bidder, round of golf with former PM Paul Martin

The Conservatives, who banned corporate political donations and capped
individual donations at $1,100 a year, pounced yesterday on what they called a
clear violation of the fundraising rules.

The Tories wrote yesterday to the Commissioner of Elections Canada, demanding an investigation before the next election campaign.

"This event raises serious questions surrounding the legality of the fundraising practices of the Liberal Party of Canada," writes Tory MP Pierre Poilievre, who helped guide the government's Federal Accountability Act through the House of Commons in 2006.

"If you allow the Liberal Party to use these methods, you will have unilaterally repealed all of the campaign finance legislation passed over the last five years, and you will be reintroducing big money and corporate cash into our political process."

The Liberals claim that it's "not a donation". Oh, bullshit. We know that they're deliberately breaking the law.

The Liberal Party hasn't changed one tiny little bit. They're just as crooked and corrupt as under Jean Chretien and Paul Martin. Stephane Dion isn't any different, either; he's just stupider and wimpier, is all.
