The Tennessean in Nashville describes Gore's speech this way: "With a green-colored Bible in one hand and his familiar red laser pointer in the other, former vice president and Nobel prize winner Al Gore led 2,500 Baptist preachers and lay leaders through his global warming slide show in Atlanta Thursday. Sounding more like an evangelist than a politician, Gore drew upon Scripture, science and a Sunday school teacher from his home church to urge Baptists to do whatever they could to fight global warming."
Hey, I thought liberals hated that sort of thing, found it offensive!
(Sarcasm) So, why isn't the ACLU going after Gore, suing to have him shut up and force him to stop holding a Bible and citing scripture in public? I thought such behavior was seen by the Far Left as unconstitutional, but now I see that as long as one's exploiting the Bible for politically correct Liberal Fascist scams as is Gore, then it's ok. (/Sarcasm)
And, once again outdoing himself in bizarre, sensational fashion, thus spake the Goreacle:
The newspaper goes on to quote Gore as telling the crowd that "if we heap contempt on God's creation, that is inconsistent with glorifying God" -- and comparing the "rising storm" of the alleged climate crisis to the rise of the Nazi party in the 1930s.
This coming from someone who can't see the reality that it's currently Communists and Islamofascists who threaten us as did Hitler, Hirohito and Mussolini! So he creates this big straw man, this red herring, to divert attention from reality and scare us shitless with falsehoods backed by corrupt, greedy "scientists" allegedly agreeing that invalidly-collected data can be trusted to lead them to a "conclusion" which isn't even conclusive?!
You know, the Far Left will accept mention of God as long as such mention is convenient to its agenda. In this case, Gore's mention of God and citing of scripture is convenient to his, and the Far Left's agenda to scare the living daylights (and the money) out of people, asserting that we'd better either stop driving, stop turning on lights, ban restaurant drive-thrus, ban breathing, etc., or at least build another Ark...
Shit... this Gore dude thinks he's some sort of latter-day Noah. Or perhaps he thinks he's the Son of God? Such blasphemy!
Then again, maybe Gore thinks he's the next Mohammed... in which case I'll be hauled before the CHRC along with Ezra Levant for republishing the above image of the Prophet of Doom and Gloom! Which would be awesome, as I'd really like to meet Ezra, the freedom fighter! Together we can work to slay the Liberal Fascist dragon and liberate the People from the Liberal Fascists!
