Rep. Maxine Waters (D-Calif.) introduced a resolution as Congress prepared to break for the August recess Saturday, urging President Bush to boycott the 2008 Olympics in Beijing.
Seems, though, that she's doing this only due to China's support for the genocidal regime of Sudan.
What about what the Communists do to people inside China and so on? What about that? Surely she's aware of all the inhuman horrors going on all the time?
You can boycott the Beijing Olympics by not going. If you're an athlete, don't compete in the event, either.
Make it a crappy Olympics, at least, with crappy attendance, etc. Send at least a message of utter disgust to China via your boycott. Say negative things about the Beijing Olympics in conversation to spread the word that China shouldn't be allowed to hold them due to the fact that there's no human rights at all there. And due to all the persecution, torture, live human organ harvesting, murder, etc.
