One via violent rape, right there on the street, her screams ignored by residents.
Police believe it's gang-related.

Demand the government crack down hard and fast on gangs and organized crime as well as on terrorists!
And remember, "progressives", it's only the bad guys who do this bad stuff with handguns, which they get on the black market. Sure, some are stolen from law-abiding target shooters and collectors, but even if those handguns were banned and confiscated, the black market would only grow and thrive and provide more guns to bad guys and there'd be even more of this killing going on! What are the anti-gun "progressives", stupid and naive?
So let's lock the bad guys up forever so they don't go back out there, buy a gun from some guy on the street and go on to shoot people!
Is that so hard to understand? Yes, we can stop this insanity! But the "progressives" cannot, not with their stupid-ass ideas!
Oh, and to address the inevitable "progressive" accusation of my "politicizing" the terrible murders, sorry, but I take no lessons from "progressives", for they're the ones who've already long been politicizing murders. Yes. When someone is killed by some bad guy with a gun, they use the incident to call for more "gun control" or call for "banning handguns". Never do they call for cracking down on the bad guys who actually use the guns to kill people!
After all, like with drugs, when you take some drugs out of circulation, more drugs will simply fill the void just like that. We can't get rid of drugs, probably, so if this is the case, why would anyone think we can get rid of guns? The only way to get rid of guns is to have a police state. And we can't stop guns from coming across the border, either. (Progressives think, obviously, that we can, and they're wrong). We will never get rid of guns, either, never stop evildoers from having them. It's impossible in a free society. But we can, when we catch those who prove themselves a danger to others, put them away for a very long time to protect innocents from them, something that "progressives", incredibly, find unacceptable.
We need to catch the dangerous people and stop releasing them! Would we release a pitbull onto the streets after it mauled someone to death? Hell no!
