Obama's Election Hasn't Brought Harmony/Unity, Only Resentment, Hostility

Depressing story here.

It mentions disturbing instances of racial disharmony and disunity happening in America following Obama's election. It's frightening that this is happening in this day and age in America, but we must look at it, face it and try to understand... why? What are the root causes, what has led to a tiny segment of the population, a segment who apparently has issues with anger and self-control, as well as difficulty in understanding complex matters... to lash out as they do at innocents with their misdirected frustration at Obama's astonishingly-unfairly-too-easily-won victory, a victory aided by a massive, Goebbelian propaganda campaign, massive loads of money, including suspicious donations from foreign sources, the mainstream media's (MSM) virtual cover-up of his undeniable, suspicious history and disturbing associations?

Barack Hussein Obama audaciously promised to work some kind of special, Obama-exclusive magic to finally create racial harmony and unity in America. People loved the sound of that, wanted this harmony and unity, and figured that if they elected him, he'd make it happen. Wishful thinking?

Unfortunately, the opposite has happened. Obama has done nothing whatsoever to bring about harmony and unity. (He fooled y'all, who had the audacity to hope for his promised change, change which we have yet to see, as he's too busy calling Nancy Reagan a seance-holder and going around babbling about what President Bush told him in confidence, acting like some immature kid or something, not a President... yet, of course, he's getting away with it in the MSM, who won't dare say he's immature even though he clearly is).

I recall the discussion online during the campaign, in which it was pointed out that folks on the Left, including the MSM, were saying that if Obama didn't win, there'd be riots in the streets by folks who wanted him to win.

Well, Obama won, and, while there's no riots happening, there is obvious resentment and very disturbing utterances and behavior going on, significantly more so than before, directed at real and suspected Obama supporters. This is disappointing, of course, but we must look at it and get into the "root causes" of this resentment and hostility.

Why?

Well, Mary T., in the comments here, has her own idea, for one...

Should be an interesting 4 years, especially as more truth comes out about O. I still think if the media had vetted him like they went after Sarah and Joe, he would not have been the nominee, or become President.

Given the mainstream media's refusal to tell the People everything about Obama, his history, his associations, etc., there is still a lot of folks who know the truth and are angry that there was all that conspiracy of silence on the inconvenient questions about Obama, plus, very, very seriously, the undeniable fact that Obama refuses to order the State of Hawaii to release his ORIGINAL birth certificate/registration of birth to, for once and for all, PROVE his Constitutional eligibility for being President. Forget about that laser copy of what the Obama camp, who put it out there themselves, claimed was the original- what are we, dupes??? Any capable fool can easily forge a document like that, just as any capable fool can counterfeit money! WHERE IS THE ORIGINAL (NOT A CLAIMED-BY-OBAMA'S CAMPAIGN "COPY" THEREOF) BIRTH CERTIFICATE AND WHY CAN'T WE SEE IT? WHY WON'T OBAMA LET US? BECAUSE IT WOULD PROVE HE'S NOT ELIGIBLE TO BE PRESIDENT; THAT'S THE ONLY REASON WHY, AND WE KNOW IT!

I don't think that peoples' fears about an Obama Presidency are unwarranted. Why? Because Obama's shockingly disturbing, ominous history and associations, with all the unsatisfied questions thereabout, coupled with his deliberately vague campaign platform, combine to instill a feeling of foreboding as to just how extreme and wrenching this "change" will be, and whom and by how much it will hurt. The problem stems from this fellow getting elected without being scrutinized as he's supposed to be. He, it certainly bears repeating, refused to prove his eligibility for being President with the original (alleged) birth certificate (his campaign released what it clamed was a copy of it, but that's worthless, if no one can see the original... can't at least compare the copy to the original to satisfy the concern that the copy is just made-up for convenience and to shut people up).

It is also unfortunate that there's a small number of folks out there who wrongly think it's about race or about immigrants, for it's NOT. It's about Obama, about his disturbing, covered-up baggage, and the refusal of the MSM to "vet" him like they ferociously vetted McCain-Palin (especially Palin, whom they went after like a rabid pitbull on PCP goes after an intruder on his master's property), gleefully trumpeting Hollyweirdoes spewing prejudice and hatred against Mrs. Palin, as if it was worth reporting, as opposed to ignoring, as the MSM shouldn't give stupid extremists coverage for a bigger voice to make their voices hurt all that much infinitely worse, but the MSM deliberately conspired to protect Obama while amplifying the hatred being directed at Mrs. Palin, just because she wasn't a Democrat and wasn't a stereotypically politically-correct, conformist Leftist without a brain of her own. Obviously, the MSM/Left hates women who have minds of their own, who refuse to do as they're told by the Left!

Make no mistake, Obama's election is very, very badly tainted in so many ways.

He may have to resign to save America. It might come to the point that the only logical thing to do to help the situation would be to step down.

Clearly, Obama is an extremely polarizing figure, not a uniting one.

But who saw it coming? Guess too many people had the audacity to hope for change, to such a degree that they forgot to use their brains... and got a problematic situation they didn't realize they voted for.

But then again, imagine how it might've been if McCain-Palin won. But in that case, there's no doubt that McCain-Palin were very well-vetted, thoroughly-vetted with obsessiveness by the other side and by the anti-Republican MSM, and would've therefore won the election fair and square. And they wouldn't be divisive, polarizing. Only the Left and the MSM are divisive and polarizing, and they'd make lots of not-too-cerebral people think, speak and act in divisive, polarizing ways by telling them that McCain-Palin are somehow bad (without saying exactly how, and without proving it at all).
