Oh, yes, at the risk of being politically incorrect by simply stating the relevant truth, the man is a Muslim immigrant from Lebanon. Name's Adel Mohamed Aranout.
The arrest connected to the well-reported letter-bombs matter is only the tip of the iceberg. The MSM dropped the ball very quickly, probably due to deleterious, unnecessary political correctness reasons.
The Northeast Intelligence Network and the Canada Free Press have picked up the ball.
It's a long report with oodles of specific information not available from the MSM, so you'd best read it for yourself. Grab a coffee or a beer or whatever and get to it.
Here, I'll just make a few points to pique your interest.
-The suspected sleeper cell house is said to be "fortified" and constantly "under construction". It is apparently inhabited by numerous different Muslim men who come and go at all hours and who come from all over, including from the United States. It's referred to as the "Bombay Bunker" and the heavily Muslim neighborhood in which it exists is obviously very concerned about the house and the men who keep on coming and going at all hours.
-Police began investigating the suspect due to a "harassment" complaint by one of the letter-bomb recipients against Aranout. It's been revealed that the victim and Aranout had some bad relations between them prior to the receipt of the letter bomb.
-The investigation doesn't end with Aranout. The "Bunker" is under investigation as well, and one would logically presume that the police and other authorities suspect it to be a terrorist sleeper cell... or perhaps something even worse than a mere sleeper cell, considering the facts. I seriously doubt the afterthought suggestion by a neighbor that it's possibly a sort of home-run "Mosque", and even if it is, the fact that an apparent terrorist who lived there has been arrested and charged with very serious crimes only serves to guide the investigation with the hypothesis that the Bunker is very possibly a sleeper cell or something. The facts remind me of the facts of the Joel Henry Hinrichs III case in Oklahoma, and that case turned out to have been a botched act of terrorism that had apparently been planned to be committed against a stadium full of 80,000 people.
See here for my other coverage/mentions of the Hinrichs case. Scroll down a bit for the actual Hinrichs-related posts. Note that Hinrichs, although a mere pale-faced American like Timothy McVeigh, lived amongst Muslims and attended a Mosque which was also attended by the infamous, would-be 9/11 hijacker who failed to get on his plane.
-The Muslim men living there and coming and going are said by Muslim neighbors to refuse to interact with non-Muslims unless necessary. Sounds like Islamic supremacists/xenophobes to me. Kind of like having the KKK in one's neighborhood, isn't it?
-The arrestee, Aranout, actually worked as a security guard for some time while living in the Bunker...
Here's some excerpts of interest (emphasis mine):
“There have been many vehicles with license plates from New York, Ohio, Michigan, all from the United States coming and going to and from the house,” stated the third resident interviewed. I’ve seen men dressed in full Muslim attire coming from the U.S., staying for short periods, then leaving. Sometimes, three or four men would arrive, and only one or two would leave.” This source also stated that he has heard that “some of the men have connections to mosques in Buffalo and Lackawanna in the U.S. and Mississauga in Ontario. I don’t have any way to verify this, but I’ve been told by others in the area.”
Now, one cannot accuse that resident of "Islamophobia", as he is a Muslim himself. And, clearly, there's plenty of Muslims who do NOT believe in the evil things that the Islamic fascists believe in. The fact that there are Muslims who are willing to tell it like it is, at least while not being identified, is promising. Clearly, the Islamic fascists cannot count on all Muslims to just silently submit and let them commit atrocities in the name of Islam. Perhaps this is the way to go for now: real, non-fascist Muslims quietly helping us to beat the Islamic fascist terrorists. I believe they have to do it anonymously, as were they to go public, it would probably bring an automatic Fatwa against them, being considered by the fascists to be apostates for daring to oppose Islamofascistic terrorism.
According to the two police officials who have provided information, Canadian officials are investigating possible connections to at least three overseas countries, including Lebanon, Pakistan and Egypt. While our police sources declined to comment on any possible connections to Hezbollah, they both noted that a “decisive majority” of Muslims appear to support Hezbollah as evidenced by recent anti-Israeli rallies tacitly sanctioned by Canada’s political system.
“To be certain, there is much more to this than being reported. There will be additional arrests, not necessarily directly related to the letter bombs, but stemming from an ancillary investigation. This is much larger than three amateurish mail bombs, I will tell you that.”
