See, Liberal Party (and other progressive liberal leftist revolutionary) idiots? The Conservatives' choice to arm Canadian Customs officers at border crossings has already proven to be the right choice.
Just since July, a number of Canadian Customs officers have been armed.
Already, they made use of their sidearms and training, and it's proving the right way to go.
So much for the Liberals' phobia with respect to guns in the possession of the good guys!
"Someone came across the border with a number of automatic weapons in his trunk. He also had a firearm on his person. There was also a balaclava found in his trunk," said George Scott, Pacific vice-president of the Customs Excise Union.
One officer drew his weapon while other handcuffed the person crossing the border.
"I feel much better equipped and much more confident in performing my duties as an officer," one guard said.
Now, that wasn't so hard, was it? Are you listening, Liberals and progressive liberal leftist revolutionaries?
It used to be different, thanks to Liberal refusal (likely under pressure from their supporters on the extremely far left) to allow Canadian border guards to be armed:
In January 2006, dozens of unarmed Canadian guards walked off the job at the Peace Arch crossing south of Vancouver after they heard that heavily armed men were heading their way from the U.S.
See the difference? Under Liberal rule, the Canadians simply run for their lives... but under Conservative rule, they are able to actually stay and do their job when the going gets tough!
See, the Liberals are unfit to govern. They don't even understand the most understandable things!
