· Military solution back in favour as Rice loses out
· President 'not prepared to leave conflict unresolved'
Iran has already had every chance in the world. And Iran gave the world the finger, accelerating its nuclear weapons program, continuing to promise to attack other nations, continuing to promise to destroy Israel, never backing away from its promise to "wipe out the Anglo-Saxon World".
Hitler made the same promises, gave the world the finger... and proceeded to almost take over all of Europe and perhaps later much of the world, if we hadn't stopped him.
George W. Bush, for all his imperfections, still understands this, and understands that Iran is a latter-day Nazi Germany, with Ahmadinejad a latter-day Hitler.
Bush has already taken Secretary Rice's advice to first try "diplomacy". But that didn't help one bit at all. So her advice now has less weight compared to VP Cheney's advice to, I believe it must be, give Iran an ultimatum to surrender its nuclear program, stop facilitating and funding terrorism... or be destroyed.
And, given that there's no doubt as to Iran's intent, owing to the actual, repeated, explicit promises of its President, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, to attack other nations and wipe out entire races, and its obvious intent to develop nuclear weapons, plus the indubitable fact that they facilitate and fund international terrorism, this will be an action much easier to sell than was Iraq.
I hope the ultimatum will be given to Iran. And that Iran's threats of "retaliation" will be seen in the context of its already-made promises of offensively attacking the world with WMDs and terrorists and thus dismissed as predictable hot air, much like Saddam's own infamous hot air about "The Mother of All Battles" and such. Given promises to start the war, Iran's promises of "retaliation" are quite stupid and redundant!
And, should Iran be as stupid as was Saddam and was the Taliban and refuse to submit, then I hope Iran will be liberated from its Islamotyrannical slavemasters led by a mad, mad, evil, evil little old goblin named Ahmadinejad.
And I'd like also to see Ahmadinejad and the Islamotyrannical clerics swing as did Saddam... I would hope that the newly-liberated, too-long oppressed, tyrannized innocent Persian people would hoist 'em all onto the gallows of justice!
