Not only does this happen in the Islamic World and in paranoid, totalitarian, murderously intolerant regimes like China, who also persecute the peaceful, tolerant, honest, compasionate Falun Gong, it's happening in the Free World, which purports to treat people equally, but whose leftist-controlled state apparati will discriminate against Christians in order to elevate sexual extremists and militants far above them in social standing and esteem.
This persecution has been happening a lot recently. I've blogged about it previously. These are just the latest of a long string of similar persecutions.

One of the new cases comes from Elmira, N.Y., where police arrested seven Christians who went into a public park where a "gay" fest was beginning and started to pray, faces down, while holding their Bibles.
What's wrong with simply being in a public park, minding one's own business, simply holding one's Holy Book? They weren't bothering anyone! They weren't hurting anyone! But somehow the leftist-controlled state apparatus nevertheless deemed their very presence unacceptable and police inexplicably arrested these people, taking away their rights as American citizens. Logically following political orders... from corrupt, criminal politicians who will grant rights to some and take them away from others. This is what "liberalism" is really about!
Contrast this to the so-called "gay pride" parades. Well, those parades "bother" me in some ways, but even when their participants break the laws against public nudity, they still don't get arrested!
They were cited for "disturbing the peace," and Assistant Police Chief Mike Robertson told WND that the seven are accused of a "combination" of allegations under that statute, which includes the "intent" to cause a public inconvenience, any "disturbance" of a meeting of persons, obstructing vehicular or pedestrian traffic, or taking part in "any act that serves no legitimate purpose."
One could be excused for thinking that this happened in China or Iran. For the same kinds of persecutions happen in those totalitarian, authoritarian butcherocracies.
The same charges can easily be levelled against anyone, like violently militant liberal "demonstrators", violent Aboriginal terrorists, violent, fundamentalist, terror-praising Muslims, imperialistic, supremacistic militant homosexual extremists... when they actually do the sort of stuff of which the Christians are falsely charged. But of course, it's mostly those who dare to differ from leftwing authoritarianism who get falsely charged and arrested.
The charges ought not to hold up to initial scrutiny by a judge. But if it's a "liberal" judge, God help us.
"We have a legal right to be at an event held in a public square. We're not a hate group," he said. "We're Christians and we're going to be there to pray."
He said he contacted police, who told him he had no free speech rights in the public park.
The "ACLU", by the way, will not give a crap about these persecuted peoples' plight. Of course not. For the "ACLU" hates and persecutes Christians, too, while exalting Muslims and "gays". The ACLU will smile when they watch this persecution.
Christians, Jews, Falun Gong, Scientologists... what, is it open season on all of us, as far as the evilly intolerant left is concerned?
We're not safe anywhere anymore.
It's time to stop voting for any political candidates suspected of being "liberals", precisely because liberalism has become largely about the selective, extra-constitutional persecution of minorities.
To protect ourselves, we must, in elections at least, purge our state apparati of leftwing extremists and the "moderates" who submit and look the other way on this persecution. These people, when in positions of power and authority, are detrimental to each nation's society, to certain identifiable groups whom they find "inconvenient" to their dogmatic ideologies and extremist agendae for bizarrely radical social reengineering under the disingenous guise of what they incorrectly call "progressiveness". They exalt and canonize their favored, preferred people and groups while persecuting and illegally, unconstitutionally deleting the rights of those they don't like or whom they find "inconvenient". They're like the authoritarian/totalitarian/theologically fundamentalist regimes of Russia, China, Iran, etc., etc.... the entire non-Free World, aka the "Axis of Evil". They're inexplicable, claiming to be about equality and human rights but then turning around and proving themselves liars!
They are wholly intolerant of those who dare to differ from their dogmatic ideology, an ideology they always seek, via cheating, bullying, abuse of power, abuse of authority, abuse of judicial power, etc., to impose on all, with selected exceptions (the "gays" and fundamentalist Muslims, who logically ought to be at each others' throats, as their beliefs are wholly opposite and wholly intolerant of one another, inexplicably most often leave one another alone while attacking everyone else!)
Christians and other persecuted religious and other minority groups must and will stand up and holler, fighting relentlessly for their rights. The left cannot and will not oppress us forever.
