A group that provides support for families and public awareness regarding the decision to leave homosexuality is accusing a Maryland school board of displaying bigotry and intolerance toward people who believe homosexuality is a dangerous lifestyle. Parents and Friends of Ex-Gays and Gays, or PFOX, is contemplating whether to file another lawsuit in a matter concerning that district's pro-homosexuality sex education program.
The Maryland State Board of Education has given its stamp of approval to a sex education program in Montgomery County schools that affirms homosexuality, transgenderism and teen condom use. The PFOX is threatening to file a lawsuit over the program, arguing the curriculum does not warn students of the health risks associated with homosexuality or inform them that people can leave the homosexual lifestyle.

"We're called homophobes; we're called bigots. I have been told to stay out of the school or else. I consider that to be threatening behavior [but] the state school board knows all of this and has ignored it. That's a violation of free speech -- that's a violation of equal access, in my book."
I believe that, finally, people are standing up for their equal rights. No longer do only some people, owing to their special group membership, enjoy, exclusively, the protective guarantees of their Constitution. Now everyone will enjoy their equality rights, too! But only if they stand up and fight for them!
Equality for all, not just some!
What's so frightening about equality for all? Why is it frightening to have everyone equally allowed to express their point of view publicly? Why must only selected special groups be granted exclusive rights to freedom of expression?
