So there'll be an apology for slavery. Good.
There is, however, a problem with this article. It seems to be blaming the Republican Party for slavery. It seems to leave the reader with the impression that it was the Republican Party's fault and not the Democrats'. Odd.
It was a Republican President, Lincoln, who abolished slavery. Not the Democrats.
And it's the Democrats' responsibility that the KKK was formed, and the KKK was the militant wing of the Democrat Party.
The Democrats, through the KKK, persecuted and lynched both Blacks and Republicans of whatever color.
Yet no mention in the article.
The Democratic Party must apologize for a lot. First, however, it must come to light for the People, most of whom are unaware, that the Democratic Party has a horrific racist past and they carry so much responsibility for so much racism for so long.
Why the cover-up?
If it was the Republicans' fault, everyone would be aware, and everyone would talk about it all the time.
But it's the Democrats' fault, yet most are unaware. Why the coverup?
