After Massively Rewarding Socialist Worker Unions, Obama To Hurt Military Salaries

This is big, and bad.  Very bad.  Like Il Douche, Bamm-Bamm himself.

Scary.  Proves Obama's a hardcore, hellbent communist.  And anti-American.  And anti-military.

No denying it now.

I also question some of the Pentagon bigwigs, who are lately apparently jumping as high as Il Douche dictates.  Imagine Pentagon bigwigs pleading with Congress to not give the most courageous Americans a raise.  After fatassed socialist union workers got big, fat raises.  WTF!  See, even military brass can be corrupt, too, especially under Obamacracy...

Critics of the Obama administration’s efforts to cut soldier’s pay say America’s security has been strengthened by higher pay rates, as qualified veterans are re-enlisting at record rates, reversing the problem the military witnessed just a few years ago.
"Any attempt to link rising military personnel costs with shrinking military readiness is total nonsense," said Thomas J. Tradewell Sr., who leads the Veterans of Foreign Wars of the U.S., the largest and oldest major combat veterans' organization.

"If the Defense Department needs a larger budget for personnel programs, then let the VFW carry that message to Congress. Just don't pin the budget blame on service members and military retirees."
(...)

"What's hurtful," said Tradewell, a combat-wounded Vietnam veteran from Sussex, Wis., "is a continuing perception that DOD is more concerned about the budget than they are about recruiting and retaining a professional volunteer force that's been at war now for more than eight years."

"Hurtful" is right.  Yep.  Obama is hurtful.

What kind of regime overvalues fatassed socialist union workers ($80,000 a year to simply deliver the mail?!   An average sergeant receives total compensation of just over $50K a year... how do we explain how delivering letters is worth more than literally putting one's life on the line?) while seeking to punish those who put their lives on the line to protect those fatasses?

 Hello, Newman.
How do you like being so filthy rich?

Look who's having a party in Hell...

I didn't know that US postal workers were so shockingly, obscenely richly compensated for simply walking around in shorts and knee-high black socks, dropping letters into boxes and that US soldiers were so mean-spiritedly undervalued by the "progressive" liberal left.  But I'm not surprised to now have dollar figures to show how much!

I guess walking down a street to deliver letters is more threatening than walking on a time bomb where the military walk.

Even the canadian military are not respected either by the opposition parties and the media.

The politicians in USA better wake up before they realize that they are caught in a trap.

The USA can become like Greece as long as it doesn't affect the O's clan.

Yup. Teacup chihuahuas nipping at one's black-sock-clad ankles are far more "hazardous" than are Taliban with AK-47s and IEDs on the road...

Well aren't Canadian postal workers have a pretty good deal as well, maybe the pay is not as high but it's pretty good plus don't forget their indexed pension plan.

I believe there are some streets in some Canadian cities where danger pay would be appropriate. heh

Yes let's look at how well a government controlled, unionized, private company works…. because this is the direction of America. There are times I would swear that the people who sorted/delivered my mail couldn't read. Their costs are so high because they have to deliver the same letter three times to get it right. Oh.... yea... AND THEY'RE WAAAAYYYY OVERPAID

Look at Fannie and Freddie…. ruined by political purchases of bad paper.
Soon your Government Motors will need more money, the bailout was "paid back with interest" with other government subsidies and loans.

52k with 4 yrs in? That had better be combat pay. That's a ridiculous amount of money for an urban or rural high school grad (or equivalency) to make. Why bother going to college when you can get paid like that?

(The real money needs to go to wounded vets' rehab, research on PTSD and suicide etc.)

Out of it all Obama chooses to go after the military. He is deliberately weakening the country. It is so obvious that any descent trial lawyer should be able to convict him of treason.

Gosh, what if Mr Obaka deigned to push a societal change via the military and no one responded?

"Good feelings" and "hope" and "change" won't pay bills.

“Calgary U Finds Pro-Life Students Guilty over Display

CALGARY, Alberta, May 10, 2010

(LifeSiteNews.com) – Eight members of the University of Calgary’s pro-life club, Campus Pro-Life (CPL), have been found guilty after closed-door hearings late last month over their presentation of a pro-life display on campus, says the group.

U of C’s Acting Associate Vice-Provost Meghan Houghton told the students that she was issuing “a formal written warning” that if the students “fail to comply with directives of Campus Security staff in the future” it will “result in more severe sanctions.” Houghton conducted the hearings, at which the students were denied legal representation, and was the sole decision-maker in the guilty verdict.

“We are going to challenge this verdict,” stated Alanna Campbell, CPL President. “We did not break a single University bylaw or regulation and so we will defend ourselves accordingly. We will also not cease exercising our rights to free speech just because they’re threatening us. I’d rather be expelled as a principled person than graduate a coward.”

Last month, after having set up the GAP (Genocide Awareness Project) pro-life display on campus for the ninth time since 2006, members of the group were notified that they were being charged with a ‘Major Violation’ under Section 4.10 of the University of Calgary’s Non-Academic Misconduct Policy. The cited reason was the students’ “failure to comply with a Campus Security officer or University official in legitimate pursuit of his/her duties” when asked to turn their signs inward or leave campus.

In Houghton’s decision, she explained the university’s demands: “Signs that welcomed viewers and signs that identified your group as an anti-abortion display could remain outward facing but signs with the actual content of your display… must face away from walkways… or any other areas in which persons on campus would have little choice but to look at your display.”

“That’s blatant content-based discrimination,” responded Peter Csillag, CPL Vice-President (Internal). “Why weren’t abortion advocates, or Falun Gong supporters, forced to place their messages inwards when they protested on campus? You can’t have debate if everyone is pointed inwards on themselves. As far as I’m concerned, this verdict against us pro-lifers is not legitimate, and it reveals U of C to be an institute of censorship and double standards — not of higher learning.”

In 2006 and 2007, during the first four displays of GAP on campus, the university defended the students’ right to expression under the Charter, but in 2008 the University reversed its policy without explanation.”

“Unions warn of Greek-style riots in Britain against public sector cuts after court victory over capping of redundancies

Militant unions today sent a chilling warning of Greek-style strikes and protests after winning a major legal victory for civil servants made redundant.

The warning raises fears of months of chaos triggered by a furious public sector who refuse to accept painful changes to tackle Britain’s financial crisis.

With one in five workers employed by the State, the scale of the crisis could be crippling with unions warning of a ‘tidal wave’ of strike action.

The Public and Commercial Services Union signalled the nightmare facing the future Prime Minister who tries to wield the axe.”

A friend of mine works for Canada Post, taking complaint calls. She makes $27.50/hour. When I said I thought that was too much, she said she deserved it. I asked her if McDonald's workers deserved it, too, and she said no because then the food would be too expensive. Some people just don't get it.
