And a Canadian Prime Minister whom Americans can finally trust and consider a real friend.
He leads by example.
As a real leader must, he went to Afghanistan, to the front lines where many Canadian warriors valorously stand up for Canada, for Afghanistan, for freedom, democracy and the rule of law. Where Canadians bravely stand on guard for thee, far away from home...
He is not afraid to go where the real dangers exist. He knows the brave Canadian warriors need Canada's unequivocal support and need to know we're extremely proud of them. He stands with them right in the face of the enemy.
He understands that freedom, democracy and the rule of law are not to be taken for granted. They must be fiercely defended against all enemies who aim to take away these great gifts. He understands that Canada must defend these ideals all over the world, not just at home.
He does not cut and run, and neither do Canadian warriors.

We will never surrender. We will never cower. We will not be intimidated. We will defend Canada against all threats. We will stand up and fight relentlessly against the enemies of freedom, democracy and the rule of law, wherever and whenever we're needed!
