How is it that something that is in the Constitution, ie. freedom of religion, keeps getting trumped by a Big Lie, an Urban Legend, ("separation of church and state") that isn't in the Constitution?
Are you still connected to the Matrix of Delusion, believing the Big Lie? Disconnect yourself and Google the U.S. Constitution and try to find where it mentions "separation of church and state". You will not find anything like that.
You will only find where it says that government is forbidden to "establish a religion" (ie. a state religion). It's the "Establishment Clause". This clause simply means that government cannot establish a religion, nothing more, and to extrapolate from this restriction on government (not on the People, nor on their religions) is simply wrong and intolerable.
(Funny how an obvious, and oppressive, coercive, state religion of sorts, Obammunism, has, de-facto, been established, but no one cares about the unconstitutionality of that!)
Speaking of Obama and the Constitution, how come Obama gets to be President without having to adhere to the Constitution's Eligibility Requirement? In this case, Obama never proved to anyone that he qualifies under this requirement to be President (ie. he never proved he was born in America, and the "proof" uttered by his people is fraudulent and inadmissible).
So it's really annoying that we have, on the one hand, Obammunists saying that the Constitution is irrelevant vis-a-vis Obama's being President, and on the other hand, saying that something that isn't in the Constitution must be respected as a "fundamental Constitutional principle".
Also, why doesn't "Freedom From Religion", the hate group who bashes Christians, also bash the Muslims? Aren't those atheists offended by such things as Islamic footbaths and Islamic prayer rooms in public buildings, plus mention of Ramadan and Eid by public officials all the time? Aren't they offended by hijabs and burkas and turbans and such? Oh, right... too afraid of being beheaded to dare to focus on Muslims, so they target meek, non-violent Christians instead!
John Satawa's family has displayed a nativity scene on a street median in Warren, Mich., virtually every Christmas season since 1945, but following an intimidating letter sent by the Freedom from Religion Foundation, Satawa's county has put stop to the 63-year-old tradition.
The Wisconsin-based Freedom from Religion Foundation proclaims its purpose in the letter to the Road Commission of Macomb County was to "protect the fundamental constitutional principle of separation of church and state."
(...)Richard Thompson, president and chief counsel of the Law Center, commented in a statement, "Every Christmas holiday, militant atheists … use the phrase 'separation of church and state' – nowhere found in our Constitution – as a means of intimidating municipalities and schools into removing expressions celebrating Christmas, a national holiday. Their goal is to cleanse our public square of all Christian symbols.
"However," Thompson continued, "the grand purpose of our Founding Fathers and the First Amendment was to protect religion, not eliminate it. Municipalities and schools should be aware that the systematic exclusion of Christmas symbols during the holiday season is itself inconsistent with the Constitution."
Why is it that these anti-religion hatemongers are getting to get religious evidence nixed from public places, but people who don't like to see evidence of homosexuality and fascist Islam don't get to demand the nixing of such public evidence, lest they be branded "haters" and thrown in prison under Obama's unfair, unconstitutional "hate crimes" laws?
Next thing you know, Christians will be required to wear a yellow fabric cross on their clothing to identify them as such.
Then they'll be required to wear striped pajamas all the time...
