Tories Up Again in Polling, Libs Write Off Quebec

w/h/t to NealeNews.com,

based on an Environics poll:

The new Conservative government led by Stephen Harper is up again in polling, to 41% nationally.

Of particular interest are two things: not only are the Tories leading in Ontario, they're also leading in the former Liberal stronghold of Toronto, with its many votes and seats up for grabs. And the Tories are also up in Quebec while the Liberals are way down.

Especially in Quebec, including in what formerly was Liberal territory in Montreal, the Liberals are now effectively dead... finished, for a good long time, if not forever, depending on whether they come to admit that they've been a terrible, ineffective, inefficient, corrupt regime which not only demonized the West for their votes, mostly from Ontario, but also turned on Quebeckers, engaging in extremely disturbing corrupt tactics to try (and fail miserably) to win their minds and hearts (and votes). Quebeckers remember. They won't forget what the Liberals did to them.

And it seems that the Liberals have finally lost their political instincts and have proceeded to demonize Quebec, figuring that they've already been rejected by Quebeckers and have no chance there anymore, at least for a long while.

Read about the Liberals' new tactic of writing off Quebec.

Canadians don't want to vote for a supposed national party which rejects Quebec.

"(They) are literally using Quebec as a basis for launching their campaign in a negative way. . . . What they are doing is divisive, it's not correct."

-Conservative Transport Minister from Quebec Lawrence Cannon
