*****"...witnesses described the male subject as having something strapped to his upper body or otherwise visible through his outer clothing"
*****Police found batteries and wires near the body but claim it was from a bathroom air freshener
NIN director Douglas J. Hagmann comments on the official explanation:
Apparently ripping a page from the FBI’s public relations manual, Staff Sgt. Don Cole of Toronto police told reporters that the victim was likely an arsonist or attempting suicide. "He's not a strap-on al-Qaeda bomber guy," Cole said. "It sounds to me like a guy who either wanted to do a torch job or commit suicide” (edited to add: inside of a Tim Hortons with an incendiary or explosive device).
That's right: the official explanation is dubious as it's highly unlikely anyone would attempt to commit suicide in such a manner, with a high probablility of failure... in a Tim Hortons with a bomb and a can of gasoline. Nope... suicides are like slitting wrists, putting a bullet into one's head, self-poisoning or jumping from high places. Really... and an arsonist? Come on... they've covered up a similar incident which was indeed attempted terrorism.
I predict we'll be hearing more about this incident.
Next, I hope we'll find out the identity of the decedent. I hope the authorities don't try to cover that up as well. Really, we don't need any dumbassed political correctness here!
The people have the right to know. We need to know the truth so we can better assess the threat environment concerning us.
Myself: while I watched news footage of the scene outside the Tim's, I was thinking about how much it resembled, say, Tel Aviv, following a terrorist attack by a "Palestinian".
