Nigerian anti-graft investigators have seized money raised by the head of the Nigerian Stock Exchange to support US presidential candidate Barack Obama.
The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission said it would give the money back to those who attended a gala dinner in Lagos last month.
How come people outside America want to see Obama elected so badly? Why do they want to break American laws to help him win? What is their interest in who wins in America? Did Obama promise them something?
What other countries want to see Obama elected so badly? Oh, of course, Iran, China, Russia, Venezuela, North Korea, Cuba... wonder how much money the Obama campaign has received from each of these countries' nationals?
You know, as a Canadian, I would rather see McCain/Palin win, but I wouldn't dare donate money to them, as that would be inappropriate as well as illegal, considering I'm not American. Besides, we have an election going on up in Canada, too, to officially start this weekend, so if I donate any money, it'll go to the Harper/Conservative campaign!
