They're going to be using an old 737, which spews a lot more carbon than the Airbuses their political opponents are using.

Campaign Fund Burn Rate (335.3 cents per gallon):
- A319-100 (Conservatives/NDP): $2200/hour
- B737-200 (Liberals): $3100/hour
Greenhouse Gas Emissions (9.6 kilograms of carbon dioxide per gallon of jet fuel):
- A319-100 (Conservatives/NDP): 6,336 kg of CO2 per hour
- B737-200 (Liberals): 8,825 kg of CO2 per hour
So I guess that means the financially-strapped environmentally-friendly Liberals will be flying the most expensive and most polluting aircraft of all the major parties.
The Liberals never, never, never practice what they preach.
If they run an expensive, dirty campaign, then we can expect that, as government, they'd run in an expensive, dirty manner.... the country. Like they always did when in government before. Not to mention making emissions skyrocket even in the years following their pretentiously bragged-about ratification of the Kyoto Accord. Oh, and current Liberal Leader Stephane Dion was at that time Environment Minister. Sheesh!
The Liberals aren't "green". They really don't care about that stuff at all. How is this so? Their actions speak as to the truth about their agenda and way of doing things; their words are merely Big Lies.
The Liberals are not people you want telling you what to do and not do, from their government offices in Ottawa. I mean, we've already suffered from such Liberal regimes!
