These ultra-extreme Left-wing militants planning to "welcome" the RNC Convention make the mere, unarmed, mind y'all, loudmouthed leftist imbeciles who showed up to scream like fools at the DNC Convention look like a bunch of drunken, stoned, harmless Care Bears.
These nutcases are hardly any different from "Palestinian" terrorists or "insurgent" terrorists/illegal combatants in Iraq/Afghanistan. Or from "personal jihadists" we've read about in the news who were caught before or after their attempted/successful personal jihad acts. Of course, the differences that there are include the fact that these so-called "demonstrators" (they only demonstrate that they're insane and a threat to others and to themselves and a comfort to our enemies) are atheists rather than Islamists and that they're far less sophisticated (and thankfully likely less deadly because of this fact) than the better-trained Islamic terrorists.
Ramsey County sheriff’s deputies found weapons and devices to disable buses among other items in searches in the Twin Cities last night and today. Authorities said the items came from “key members of the RNC Welcoming Committee,” a self-described anarchist group.
Five people have been arrested and four properties have been searched, according to the sheriff’s office.
“The ‘Welcoming Committee’ is a criminal enterprise made up of 35 anarchists who are intent on committing before and during the Republican National Convention,” said Sheriff Bob Fletcher in a statement. “These acts include tactics to blockade and disable delegate buses, breaching venue security and injuring police officers. They have recruited assistance in their criminal conspiracy from other anarchists groups throughout the country. Through their plans and actions they have exhibited a blatant disregard for the law and the safety of others.”

And they were armed, in addition to the deadly stuff, like axes, a hatchet, a machete, etc., huge buckets of urine. Are these left-wing moonbats psychos or what? Damnit, can't the state apparatus see that they need serious psychiatric help?
See, liberalism/leftism/progressivism/socialism/anarchism, etc... they're indubitably all mental disorders. You could also put them in masterfully-tailored Armani suits, have them act calm and sophisticated, but they'll still have the mental disorders. Just look at many "Democrats" and "Liberals" who go around in fancy suits and occassionally demonstrate that they can't always hide their insanity...
