For nearly two weeks, Democrats have repeatedly hit Sen. John McCain, R-Ariz., for saying he is unaware of how many houses he owns, calling the presumptive Republican presidential nominee out of touch with everyday Americans. In his acceptance speech at the Democratic convention on Thursday, Democratic nominee Barack Obama turned up the heat on McCain, saying he "doesn't know" about the lives of middle-class Americans. "I'm offended by Barack Obama saying that about my husband," said McCain's wife Cindy. When asked if Obama went too far in his criticism of McCain, Cindy responded, "I do. I do. I really do."McCain also said beer the distributorship her father built, which is the source of much her family's wealth, typifies the American Dream.
"My father had nothing. He and my mother sold everything they had to raise $10,000," she said. "I'm proud of what my dad and my mother did and what they built and left me. And I intend to carry their legacy as long as I can."
Mrs. McCain has an excellent point. Obama can't say that someone doesn't know what life is like for the average American just because they're currently successful. Guess he doesn't care where the McCains are coming from, wouldn't understand. He's not even American-born anyway and refuses to wear the American flag on his lapel as a matter of "principle" and is married to a wealthy woman making at least 300 grand a year who only recently came to like America only because her hubby was winning the Nomination.
Clearly, Obama doesn't believe in the American Dream, doesn't understand what it means... What is he, a Communist, Like Hillary? Does he believe that only special, chosen, elitist, aristocratic, royal, ruling-class, socially-elevated and well-connected folks like himself should be allowed to be rich, and that regular folks like the McCains shouldn't be allowed to work hard for a better life, that they should be artificially, fascistically restricted in how well-off they can become? And that they shouldn't be allowed to become President, because they're down-there ordinary and unspecial, not way-up-there-exalted and superior (in Obama's own mind) like Obama?
Well, what do you expect from a member of the Far Left's Elite?
Obama can't criticize the McCains for where they're coming from and can't claim they don't understand regular folks and what it's like to be a regular folk. Cindy grew up poor and John served his country, suffering being a prisoner of war in the process. So Obama should fire his communications advisors for their stupidity, or perhaps fire himself from the Nomination for being stupid enough to say what they told him. Whatever. This guy isn't exactly looking like a great choice for President in terms of his arrogant, disdainful attitude and lack of real-world intelligence, as if it wasn't enough that his views are vague as hell and that many peoples' impression of him isn't positive. But what do you expect when he refuses to say exactly what he stands for, beyond nice-sounding but utterly useless, vague words like "change" (no more Bush; Obama instead, that's what), "audacity" (he's certainly audacious!) and "hope" (he hopes he becomes President so he can do whatever's on his obviously, indubitably hidden agenda, or whatever his puppetmasters tell him to do).
Unbelievable hypocrisy and chutzpah coming from Obama bin Biden. The Snobama himself is already infamous for belittling those who make less than he does, are less fortunate than he is, of being out of touch with regular folks, having disdainfully flipped them off as "clinging to guns and religion".
